Fantastic footage really top notch stuff! Can I as what equipment did you use (Len's, Camera etc), how did you find that bird/display post-are a biologist/researcher in New Guinea, or did you go as part of a bird tour (if so you must've been with the quietist group ever). I am drop dead jealous of you capturing such exquisite footage, I love birds of paradise and desperately wish to see the whole family one day. Any response would be deeply appreciated, once fantastic footage keep it up - Mark
Thanks! So it was a very private tour (only 3 friends), and we all understand each other, and keep quiet! Not expensive either... used local guides, not the big tour companies. I use a Panasonic GH4 with the Panasonic-Leica 100-400 lens on a tripod. Great setup - light and powerful, take 4k footage.
