അച്ചൻ്റെ പ്രസ്ഥാവനകൾ വളരെ നന്നായി. ലോകത്തെ കീഴ്മറിക്കുവാൻ യേശുവിൽ വിശ്വസിച്ചവർക്ക് സാധ്യമായി ' അവർ ജീവിച്ച സാഹചര്യം ഇതിലും ക്രൂരമായിരുന്നു. നമ്മുടെ തിയോളജി അന്ന് അവർ പഠിച്ചിട്ടില്ലായിരുന്നു. വിശ്വാസത്തോടെ പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുവാനും ജീവനെ നൽകുവാൻ സന്നദ്ധമായാൽ സാഹചര്യങ്ങളെ മാറ്റുവാൻ ദൈവത്തിനു കഴിയും.

Dear Rev. Varkey: I am from Karikuzhy, Thalavady (your neighbor) migrated to US in the early 1970s. My next-door neighbor is a Jewish Rabbi and one of our company's salesman Late Mr. Eddy Rose was a Jewish Scholar. According to Mr. Rose's opinion Jesus was a rebel. He was preaching against the rulers and the Roman empire. The rulers at that time found him guilty (it was questionable) according to Christians. I am a founding member of LIMTC, NY and my home parish is Thalavady Padingarakara (Kuzhipally) Church. I always have a doubt i.e., why our Bishops/parishioners carrying a cross in their hand and neck. Actually, cross is a cursed object because Jesus was hanged on it along with two thieves. The prominence of cross came to Christianity only after crussification. Secondly, why our Bishops cover their head with a piece of cloths and wear chapels at the altar (in our church we wore shoes). This is totally against the teaching of Paul. As per John Chapter 1:18 nobody saw GOD but Exodus Chapter 24:9-11 saying the opposite. This is a total contradiction. We have other questions too, but we will ask you later. Thanks
