FYI, hellcat brakes won’t bolt up to R/T knuckles so you’ll have to find SRT knuckles as well unless you want to go with some wilwoods or something made for an R/T
4 piston calipers will fit if you shave the rotors down some to like 13.8( for calipers to fit and pads to come into contact with the rotors). Add a spacer(a couple washers) onto the bracket and thats it thats all. Forgot to mention you need to the srt rims.
There’s a few mistakes with this video. The 5.7 is a thicker block than the 392 and is much more boost tolerant. Forge it, port the heads, and throw a stock 392 cam in it and you’re at ~420whp NA. After, add boost. You cannot turbo the Hemi on the factory ECU, so that means a stand-alone. Also, in order to get Brembo brakes to mate to a 5.7 RT, you need to change the knuckles, same with making the wider wheels clear. Fwiw, I would recommend a forged 5.7, ported heads, 392 cam and F1r with meth injection. If you’re a manual car then you’ll need a clutch and any version will need a fuel pump (or two) and injectors. After that, get some aftermarket brakes that are specifically designed to fit a 5.7 in order to circumvent the clearance issues. You can do the wide body stuff if that melts your butter but that’s your decision. Also, invest in heat management. Some gold foil insulation around the intake piping and Heatshield Products Header Armor will work wonders on managing your under-hood temperatures, while also increasing your exhaust gas velocity. The Hellcat intake tray mates to the factory intake setup and only replaces the bottom of the intake box so it’s a direct fit. The ram air through the headlight is merely a stopper that needs to be removed from the center on the light so that’s a 5 minute job, but there’s one on each side of the car so I recommend doing the driver AND passenger side for better breathing and heat management. There’s also a grate that replaces it to prevent debris from rupturing whatever filter you have in there. That’s a recipe for happiness. Enjoy it
The thinner walls are not the problem it’s the thin ass pistons the 6.4 has both blocks will handle up to 1500 hp before the block will start to crack it’s the internals that are the problem
Thank you I’m doing a 392 with forged internals swap on my R/T I was thinking of putting a supercharger but I think I’m going to end up going the twin turbo route instead
@@cobrademon761thank you my mechanic picked up 2018 392 and forged all the internals for me. So it’s actually 392 stroker it should be able to handle boost. I’m hoping the turbo build would be a little less wear on the engine than a supercharger build would.
I saw demon crate engines at jhgarage but It’s crazy expensive at 38,500 dollars which is essentially more expensive than a used srt8 challenger, sure if you go that route it will be less than used demons now for $200k+, but still crazy expensive especially if you’re going on a budget, but if you have what it takes to create a legitimate build-it-yourself demon, then have at it, but if you want something similar then there are redeye engines with 807 at dcperformance that I saw.

550 to the wheels on awd without boost is impossible on a 5.7. To even have a chance you would need huge displacement or very high compression ratio which 92/93 could not handle
