I bought this as a hobby welder, to repair our camper van. I have not welded for a long time but it all came back to me in a flux, with this mighty little welder. My ambition is to progress to some arty farty sculpture and build my skills and confidence. Your tuition and reviews certainly insired me John. Thank you.
I am a certified welder am enjoying you videos here in little old Ireland , you are very good tutor , bring on the next generation of welders , keep up the excellent content every day is a school day
Big plus on inverter welders is that the open circuit voltage is a lot higher than a single phase (230/240 volt) transformer type, lot easier to strike an arc. Nice honest review John, nice unit. Thanks for sharing.
Great video … I’d never considered gasless welding until seeing this welder . My old 25 year old Cebora mig is knackered and this looks like a contender . Thanks for the info .
Thank you, John, for such a good review. I wanted to see what this welder was like before purchasing. Got through part one and hit buy it now. Very clear advise. Thanks again.
Good vid one small point welding earth being pedantic it is called a welding return.my old butters mig has bit the dust after seeing your vid I think I will buy the one.you demonstrated Keep up the good work John.could go on about earthing systems on welding plant fabricating etc but it would bore the tips of all your subscribers
Hi John, cracking little unit, and very straightforward review mate, well done. Thought about chucking my name in the mix for a chance to replace the grandad SIP 130 transformer set I have, but mine sort of works so I will leave well alone in the hopes this goes to someone who has no gear today. Cheers, Jon

Nice honest review John, nice unit.
Thanks for sharing.
That is certainly true.
When I tried stick welding, it lived up to its name, because it kept sticking to the job. 😁
That's my problem too. So I stick to TIG and MIG now.
@@jagboy69 Don't you mean you *unstick* to TIG and MIG? 😁
@@BedsitBob yeah, exactly.😜
Great video …

Looks like a great little John and a good video as always.
I enjoyed this review, honest and practical real world relevant review. No brand snobbery, great impartial opinion of how it actually preformed.
Thanks again John, loved the review!
Good little welder there John, great review, keep'um coming..

Love the FBH test 😂
I could hear the gas. Thanks!
Great series of reviews on this welder John. How do you get your arc shots?
Awww man i want to enter....just to far away.
Good luck to all
Well, not in Zimbabwe, but not far off, so I guess I will have to go off and buy one myself....
Hi John have you tried cutting about 5mm off the end of the shroud it lets you see what your are welding
I did a review for R Tech cut the shroud down on my MIG 180 made a massive difference
That's a top tip. Thanks.
Great tip will try that one 👍👨🏻🏭
When I learned to weld 35 years ago the F in FBH stood for something else. Were you just being polite 😏
