DRAGON QUEST (NES) Map Walkthrough

A short and simple game, but I think interesting in that it doesn't really gate you aside from the enemies; rather than geography or plot like many newer JRPGs. Speedruns demonstrate that with luck manipulation you can just beeline straight for various objectives.
Shout-outs to "MarkGG", whose Level 14 save file on my garage sale cartridge of Dragon Warrior helped me figure out how things worked.

I bought DQ 1 and DQ 2 on mobile. The controls are frustrating. I have no idea where to go.

they are among the most ancient fossils you can play as far as RPGs go! lots of vague parts.
