  • WELCOME TO DAY 2 OF THE 7 DAYS HEALTHY PELVIC FLOOR CHALLENGE 🌺
    👭 This challenge is free and for everyone, including beginners and women of all shapes and forms. All exercises are about 10 minutes long and you can do them from the comfort of your home.
    📆 Once you have finished the challenge I do recommend that you stick with all or some of the exercises for at least 3-6 months. Then you evaluate and decide on the next steps on your healing journey based on what your body is telling you. Natural healing is not a quick-fix so please give your body time.
    Maintaining good posture is crucial for pelvic floor health as it directly impacts the alignment and function of the pelvic muscles, fascia, nerves and organs. Poor posture, can weaken these parts over time, leading to pelvic floor dysfunction.
    When posture is compromised, it can create tension and imbalance in the pelvic region, putting undue pressure on the pelvic floor. This increased pressure can contribute to issues like urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and even sexual dysfunction. Additionally, poor posture can hinder proper breathing mechanics.
    By maintaining good posture-keeping the spine aligned, shoulders back, and pelvis neutral-we can help distribute the body's weight evenly and alleviate strain on the pelvic floor muscles.
    Being mindful of ergonomics in everyday activities, like sitting at a desk or lifting heavy objects, can prevent unnecessary stress on the pelvis.
