@@sarao8394 thqnk you for watching! And I am with you! Paper rules 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻😅☺️🙏🏼
Great brush and inking tips, thank you. - Here’s a tip for you as well: To ovoid drawing an unwanted line with your finger in Procreate, go to top menu > Actions > Preferences > Gesture Controls > General > Disable Touch actions (finger touches will only perform gesture) > Done. Now you can only draw with the Apple Pencil and not with your finger (I wish other drawing apps had this feature too).
Thank you

Thank you for this video. I've recently converted from a Surface Pro using Clip Studio to an iPad using Procreate, so many of the functions in Procreate are very nonintuitive to me. This was a very helpful video!

thank you so much for this. there are a lot of artists I follow defshogun, chun lo, caanan… but I don’t really understand the technique or concept and or style. there is really an artist where we have the same style. yours is the best one I understand. keep it up bro.
Gotta be different..I can't do whatever one is doing ... Create character from the unconscious mind

Hallo Dr Rocke. Sehr intressantes zu gleich sehr lehreiches Video. 😉👍mega
Danke Rene, freut mich 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you for this video 🙌🏼 I learned so much from it. Do you have any videos on how to send the digital drawing to a printing company? As in, what file format to use and what size of printing paper to go for? I always worry about sending away work to get printed and it coming back all pixelated, blurry or not printed on the correct size of paper 🫣 any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks I really like the video lot of helpful I hope you make more videos like this 😊😃😃😀

Nice Wayne’s man
Awesome : )
Thank you Andrew! I really appreciate that and hope to see you on my next video 😅☺️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
great video thank you!! is this kind of like 'noir' technique, like used in hellboy/sin city etc? i find it confusing where to add shadows to still keep the shape etc.
do you have any tutorials of this kind of style please? for procreate? thank you!
Can adjust the taper settings to what works for your hand and drawing style.
Great video , packed full of tips ...I think there's a setting you can turn off to stop your fingers making those annoying lines . I think it's something to do with 'palm contact' settings. I remember turning this off and now it's doesn't happen to me any more.
Glad you like it! Thank you for your tip, will check it out 😅see you later today with my next video 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼😅☺️✌🏻
More inking in Procreate please!
Do you use any screen protector?
Bro ¿u use any kind of screen protector ? ¿Or draw on the bare screen directly? Thaks
Good, interesting video! I don't have an iPad Pro, but I do have a Cintiq. In Windoze, I use Clip Studio Paint (also available for the iPad) and make use of its Vector Layers, with the Eraser set to "Erase Up To Intersection," the best thing in digital art since the "Undo" command! ;)
Yoooo this is gonna be epic! Sorry I'm watching it late, got sidetracked.
Nice
You can easily prevent creating lines with your hands 🙌🏽 by simply going into Actions-Gesture Control & disable the painting with finger tab. No glove 🧤 necessary.
Inking without pen pressure tips please 😊
what brushes are you using!!!
Are you german ? your ipad is in German. I discovered your channel at hospital. You are great, I'm a big fan. regards from Belgium
Thank you, I really appreciate that!
I am from Austria, so yes, it’s german!
Hope you are well soon!

I like to see more about manga … anime . Please .. you are great artist
Enough with the manga , anime. My goodness .
Great art dude. I have to buy myself an iPad - I just cannot draw with a Wacom anymore. It's like eating fries with a spoon.
Procreate has option of only pencil input! Works like charm no more sudden dots
Holy cow; I’ve used procreate for over a year and I didnt know you could drag a color to fill like that
which ipad is that?
Your intro was a bit annoying. But as I keep watching, I must say your video is the most make sense, straight forward and extremely useful.
I like my flame tips to touch always, but that's just me.
It seems very simple ... If you draw it. I like drawing but I'm só far from this level. I'm impressed.

Dr rocke do a collab with zhc
Ok! Please tell him that 😅☺️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼thank you fir watching!
I love the old masters of comic book drawing, it's the art and hard work of it all that many of us appreciate. Many of those artists went to commercial art school of some kind to learn skills when it was just pencil, ink and paper. They worked hard to achieve what they created. The difference here, of this device, is the speed of what you are creating and as the teacher here said the printer doesn't always pick up details. There are advantages and disadvantages in this medium, but I also understand it's acceptance into the art world.
This is not a knock on your work, but merely a perspective on where all of this is. It's about preference. This is the world we live in now though where time sensitive is the norm and so it's obviously excepted to use a tool like this. Less work, more production it seems in this ever inflationary world we now live in. My point in all of this is not to get lost in it and understand where you stand as a creative person.
For what is worth, nice work. You do have a good handle on the computer side of it. If people really want to become great at anatomy, it wouldn't hurt to take some life drawing courses and actually learn the names of the parts of the body. When you sketch out, draw figures you actually know what it is you are drawing by using its correct anatomical name. You understand the path much better in what it is you are creating. You don't want to just look at the body as shapes.
Through some training by well traveled teachers you'll learn to draw the human body and say its parts in all kinds of positions without using references because you will have mastered at some point that knowledge. If you notice in a lot of these comic drawing videos these folks don't use anatomical names when drawing a muscle area. That's a disadvantage in my opinion. By NOT using the art of anatomy in-itself its taking away from your knowledge. Everyone who is a master somewhere in their field is based on their knowledge, experience. In some cases thru long, long experience.
But learning more about anatomy will help you establish yourself more as a truer artist, plus you'll get a lot more quality in your work because it's 'you' in it. The computer device is simply a tool, it can be useful in some ways, but you don't want live and die by it as thee final solution to your work. Remember, it's a device that can limit you in some ways if you are not mindful. You wanna try to keep your approach, your work real and grounded, plus this approach helps you develop more ORIGINALITY and there is plenty of room for original work. Don't fool yourselves. You don't want to be just another digital comic book artist doing the same thing as everyone else, especially when it comes to visual story telling.
You always want your work to be a part of you. None of us are the same as flesh and bone and so why should our work be any different as in same-ness? It's the least you can do for yourself as an artist, if you really want to be called an artist.

I don’t know, what do you mean? 😅✌🏻
