This will work great for the vintage look I'm trying to get in my graphic novel. I love the way the old vintage sea drawings look from the 1700s. I'm not sure if they did engraving, had special brushes, or simple put a lot of time into crosshatching with a feather dip pen; regardless, i find it impressive. I'm working solo with no assistance so anything to make the process faster and easier is great! Thank you!

Hey i got this brush set and some of the other ones. I was wondering do you made these sets for the photoshop as well?
Hi! I appreciate your support! 🙏 Unfortunately there are certain features that are exclusive to Procreate’s brush engine that would make it impossible to translate my brushes to Photoshop the way I would like to. That is, if I even had the time to work on that, which at the moment I don’t. Sorry about that!

@@LinoCrafts not at the moment, sorry. As I said I don’t have enough time to make my brushes also for other programs, as the brush engines are completely different and it would require a lot work.

My pen not suported pressure , can i use this brush ?
There are a few brushes in this set that use pressure sensitivity, but 90% of the crosshatching brushes in the set can be used without pressure sensitivity. Only you can decide if that is enough for your needs! You could download the free sample available on my Gumroad page and try it out.

I recently purchased the brush set for this video, How do i make the brushes smaller to crosshatch in a smaller portion of the picture. As they are, the brushes are far too big to be utilized in my drawing.
Hi, you’re probably working on a very small canvas. These brushes are optimized to work at a minimum of 300 dpi. Can you tell me what is the size of the canvas you’re trying to work on? Regardless of this, you can easily change the size of any of the crosshatching textures in this set by accessing the brush settings in any brush, going to the Grain tab and adjusting the Scale slider.

@@grant2707 it’s alright! Try working at least on a 8.5 by 8.5 inches canvas at 300 dpi. You will notice instant improvement 😊

Hi I know this tutorial is more about promoting your brushes, but the part of the video where you are showing how are you are masking the layers is too quick and hard to follow, even with rewinding and playing it back a few times… apart from that I really like the video. I as I use a few different programs sometimes I forget the steps for masking and creating different types of masks.

You can find plenty of tutorials about how to use masks in Procreate on CZcams, that’s why I don’t dedicate time to explain it here 😊

I agree. If you’re going to include something (or a process) in your video, just show us how to do it. I think I figured it out. Was not as simple as just looking elsewhere for clipping mask tuts because you’re using color drop with a threshold and a combination of clipping masks and alpha lock. It’s not actually that simple. I think if you want to sell your brushes, which I want to buy, just walk us through the whole process to get the same results. Step by step. Especially if it’s how to use your brushes like in the video
