This was great to me... you could read some things out... but the plot twist hit different!
Years ago my dad tried getting me a job at a landscaping company and I really didn’t want to do it but I filled out the app, weeks go by and my dad asked the guy why he didn’t hire me and he said my app was so messy with handwriting that is may represent how I would work. 00:55…. The shade. 😡😠… Trying to take a low-key jabs at Kelly. She doesn’t need a ton of acting jobs. She is a phenomenal actress. Like a real good actress. I remember when she first started acting many years ago. And she’s been in several 🍿 ; quite a number of them. And does very good in them. So to try to skip over her career and belittle it is shady and pathetic and disgusting. And when she made that nasty comment, I felt like Tyler Perry should have backed her up. He should’ve called that lady out by reminding her that Kelly does very much of acting experience. And good experience with that.
I agree with you about the shade as well. Even though I don't know her in real life, Kelly appears unproblematic and doesn't deserve that. It should never be about the quantity but the quality of work she has put out. Even though I live in the UK, the main movies I have seen her in are Hallmark movies, and she appears to have carried them well as lead actress.
When she said that I said, OH NO SHE DIDN'T!! but I had to look at it a different way. Maybe she meant bc we know Kelly as a singer first and not an actress. And of course, she can be known for both. But jmo, maybe because she's not on a Halle Berry level or someone of that caliber, is why she said it like that. But Kelly has acted and has been very good!
