    Great video, a few comments:
    As others have mentioned, i can put my car in drive without my seatbelt on, but the parking brake will not automatically disable it I'm not buckled in
    You can set the cruise with your foot on the accelerator. Its one press of the top button on the right hand side of the steering wheel to activate cruise, and then you can set cruise speed by either pressing that button again or moving the right dial up or down.
    Fun fact, after you set cruise, the top button is disable/cancel and pressing the dial in is resume.
    Lastly, I and others have seen a big initial range hit if the car/battery are cold, I.E. sitting outside all day/over night when it's below 40f. Basically, dumping a lot of energy to warm up the battery.
    Doing this same test in the spring could, naturally, yield a decent chunk of extra milage.

    •  Před 5 měsíci

      I had to read your description of cruise 3 times before I was in agreement!
      I think of it as the top button as arm/set/pause and the scroll wheel press as resume. So first time use of cruise on each drive requires a double press of the top button, to arm and then set to the current speed. There after it’s only ever one press the scroll to resume last set speed or the top button toggles between set to current speed and pause.
      As far as I can tell there is no way to “disarm” the cruise once it’s been armed on a journey?

    • @o0Dan0o
      @o0Dan0o Před 5 měsíci

      Agreed. Also, I wish it was just always on, the first double press is unnecessary.

    For the parking brake to disengage, you can do it manually with the "P" button, or shifting into D or R works along with stepping on the accelerator. You have to get the feel of how far to press the accelerator. A gentle touch doesn't do it. You'll soon figure out how much "pressing" it takes to disengage the parking brake, but it does happen.
    One exception: The parking brake will NOT disengage in D or R no matter how hard you press the accelerator if your seatbelt isn't fastened. But pressing "P" button still works to disengage the parking brake without your seatbelt.

    Good to know that turning off all the driver assistance features you paid for will prevent them from distracting you with erroneous alerts as they constantly malfunction. Thanks for the new video Adam. I've watched your channel since I reserved my Sport about a year ago and made it into an order in July, so thought I had better do the right thing and join up. My Sport has a similar spec to yours - white / 20" wheels / winter package - and is due to go into build this coming week at Magna according to Fisker guy in London on the VIN number 135XX. I've looked through comments and didn't see anything, so apologies if this has been asked already - the wing mirrors on the Sport do not auto-fold when locking/unlocking the car, I know you (and other Sport owners) have stuff you were not expecting like Hollywood and Boost mode. What is the situation with the mirrors - do they auto fold? If not, do the fold switches work so you can do it manually? I've also seen videos where the mirrors will dip down when you engage reverse so that you can see the kerb. Is that possible on the Sport? Thanks in advance and keep up the great work.

    Adam, I am enjoying your presentation and quality of your production, I saw quite a few of your videos.
    The only ask I have is please tell us the driving experience of this car comparing to Tesla Y and other electric cars. Simply telling us about Ocean Sport does not work, at least for me. @@Aslash304 Great!!! Please address the following, when comparing, if you can:
      - how car is driving, smooth or jerks, turns/handling
      - breaking
      - the safety (when all this software is on the top of our driving)
      - quietness inside
      - noise when it drives on the slow speed, the regs are forcing ev-manufacturers to make that noise
      - steering wheel handling
      The key point, for me, is Fisker a luxury car? Does it feel as the luxury car? Why people comparing Fisker Ocean with model Y, where Model Y is a good EV, but I do not feel sitting inside that it is a luxury car.
      Ocean Sport is about $45k, when it is out the door. I can buy Lexus Hybrid for the same price, but sitting inside Lexus, it is sitting inside Lexus :).

    What size battery is the Sport? At under 200 miles and only chargingat 76 kwh, it's definitely not a road tripper. So, just wondering as a daily driver, errand car, is it worth the efficiency?

    • @Guido73
      @Guido73 Před 5 měsíci

      73 (vs 113 on Ultra / Extreme). Difference is 52% in range (based on WLTP) - extra range when choosing the bigger battery. But real range in daily usage depends on so many factors. Just realise WLTP can only be reached when driving an average speed of 46,5 km/hr with 23C temperature outside (you might need to convert this to unlogical local values ;) )

      Yes. Every EV does this. Even slow ones. The Sport isn’t slow, but it’s by no means fast in the EV class. However, it’s certainly more powerful in daily driving applications than Every gas SUV under $100,000. And by a lot. Good question, Cheers!

    Hey Adam what version OS are you in? I don’t see the navigation settings for plan a trip or 3D building options. I was told several times by support that my vehicle had the 1.11 pt2 though visually displays 1.11 1/2 and they’re telling me that their system is more correct than my car. Also how much per kW was that Electrify America you charged at? Congrats on receiving your Sport.

      @@Aslash304 I actually went back and checked. It does have these options except for the fact that the TomTom mapping still has the older display mode where the “blue sky” takes half of the map section vs how yours and others I’ve seen where the blue sky is only a smaller section of the map. Mine also doesn’t display the 3D buildings even if selected in options. Thank you

    • @Aslash304

      I am. The Model 3 SR has same pack from same company, and gets 230-250. The Ocean has a higher drag coefficient, so it checks out. I just took a 500 mile road trip in it, with my model y long range alongside it, and the experience is almost identical, video soon. Thanks for your feedback, stay tuned, Cheers!

      It’s disappointing. But it’s also difficult to expect more range. It’s the same cells from the same company as the model 3 rwd, and the model 3 has a class leading drag coefficient. It gets 230-240 real world, so 200 makes sense to me. Also, I’ve got more charging data coming soon. And it’s better news. Thanks for your feedback, Cheers!
