Blessings from Chicago. I like the dal powder to use as a thicker in many dishes. I use no oil, so it will last a while in my pantry. Thank you.
Wow very interesting medam 💐
thanks so much I was looking for something like this God Bless you
Mam, you can mix tomato powder for sour taste, & little bit of jaggery for good taste. Nice recipe 👌😊
Great idea!
Thank you sharing this recipe with us. How many servings of dal could be cooked with this premix?
Excellent madam
Madam should we soak dhalls at least how many minutes?. If soaked and drained can we use
can we switch the dal with green moong and chana sprouts?
Wow excellent 👏 👌
Very helpful.Thank you.
Nice
❤🎉
Can we use this just by adding hot boiling water and storing it for 8-10 minutes?
Can you so this Jain dal premix .
If I make this tonight, I do not have Toor Dal. I do have Chana dal and yellow split pea dal, would these do in place of Toor Dal? Only if I make this tonight :) I have the next 5 days work and no time for shopping before Sunday.
You can use yellow split dal instead of toor dal and 2 tbsp of channa dal instead of masoor dal
@@rajshrifood Thank you !! This turned out very delightful.
Can you omit the citric acid or any alternative?
U can amchur powder
Can we make dal by adding boiling hot water to this premix in a bowl, covering it for about 10 minutes and then stirring it well?
I guess you could , if the dal is ground fine while preparing the premix !😊
Daal ko dhuap main sukha sakte hae kya?
Yes can be sun dried for a few hrs
For how long the dals have to be soaked in water and how much time it has to be kept to dried thoroughly
No need to soak the dals
Just wash them and dry them overnight or for 7/8 hrs
I'm surprised, shouldn't the dal be tasting much different compared to normal preparation?
Surprisingly taste isn’t very different, I tried it yesterday
@@subbanayak4053 thanks, I'll try as well!
It will be like paste.
Any alternate option for Red Masoor dal ?
Chana dal
Instead of massor dal yellow moong dal can be used or just toor dal is good too.
@@rajshrifood thanks for reply
Madam can we remove onion garlic powders
If you add more asafoetida, it shouldn't be an issue, but you may need to experiment a little to get the taste you're looking for
Yes you can skip the onion and garlic powder in this dal premix
This makes pasty dal, if I don't see a little bit of the grain, I hate it.
In that case don’t grind it to a powder. Leave it as a coarse powder.
Pls tell the alternative thing for masoor dhal.
Instead of massor dal yellow moong dal can be used or just toor dal is good too
