He needs to be the host or one of the other correspondents. Roy is by far the best choice, but executives are too afraid to make hard decisions. The whole thing at jeopardy was a mess and they ended up where they should have from the beginning. They either need to decide or quit.

Yeah I was trying to think why I'm not as into his time on the show and thought maybe it's that he takes shots at leftists more but my gripe with that is that it's just not accurate (i.e. mayor Adams ever being progressive...that would be the joke not that he suddenly isn't) and I think it's more this - the energy isnt there. Still like him in general but just not so much here lol
I feel this with a lot of guests. Desus was the same way and he’s not that way at all elsewhere. Feel like they just don’t want to cause a problem on prime time so they can go back to their shows.

"easy repurpose"? no, that's not a thing. most abandoned buildings are death traps inside. want to stick a thousand migrant families in buildings with collapsing floors and asbestos coming out of the walls? repurposing abandoned commercial buildings as safe homes for humans is extraordinarily expensive. probably cheaper to knock them down and start from scratch. and that's the problem, everyone has big ideas about what to do to help out these people, but no one wants to actually fork over the money required to pull it off in the real world.
now...if we could take just 5% of the military budget and reallocate to affordable housing we might be on to something! (that's my bright idea)

And no... New York hasn't had the time and years to develope the infrastructure to handle this nor do they have the space that the border states have. Not to mention they havn't received the federal funding that the border states have and New York is recieving far more from all the border states than each individual state is. This is manufactured with that in mind. Why aren't half of them being sent to California and Chicago and a number of others that would take them, because if they spread them out it wouldn't create the problem some people want to have.
