    SPARKSMITH: The automotive aftermarket’s latest innovator in LED Lighting and when it comes to Hood Light LED Strips; easily the one that gets our nod of approval. Their Hood Lights are perfection so satisfying that we're left without anything else to ask for.
    INTENSITY AND UNIFORMITY: The waterproof silicone jacket is responsible for their neutral "white when off" look and their amazing intensity. The jacket ensures perfect uniformity without any hot/dark spots, bumps, runs, or other imperfections found on coated strips found elsewhere.
    SIMPLICITY: Wiring the strips is super easy. Their advanced LED drivers control all of the functions and only require a 2-wire input. The red wire receives a constant 12V. The black wire is grounded, and that's it!
    RELIABILITY: The 3014SMD LED chips deliver a virtually infinite lifespan of 50,000 hours. That's almost six straight years! Because they're based on much more stable and mature SMD-LEDs; they are considerably more reliable between hot/cold cycles compared to "new" COB based strips. The drivers are refined to work reliably on all modern cars/trucks, and are completely waterproofed inside to avoid moisture-related problems.
    FLEXIBILITY: Built on a ribbon-based circuit board that's got a side profile of less than one millimeter thick and backed with double-sided adhesive. NOTE: These can flex side-to-side AND front-to-back.

    If anyone wants to install this a lot make simple wiring just use waterproof t taps and tap it to the running light /blinker, that way if you need to take the grill off you just unplug them and you are good to go

      T-taps are certainly an option. But even the "waterproof" versions can be prone to water intrusion and corrosion. Should you choose this option, we strongly recommend also applying some dielectric grease to the insides of the T-taps before clamping them in place.

    This whole setup looks sweet! If you have the grill website link that would be awesome and which size strip do you have on here for your exact setup

    Hello sparksmith, I already have the animated star up grill lights on my 06 chevy, I just ordered these hood lights with the plug and plat kit. Does the plug and play kit that comes with this kit have connectors to the grill lights? Or do I have to splice them?

    • @Sparksmith
      @Sparksmith  Před rokem +1

      If you already have the harness, we can actually exchange the plug and play harness from the hood lights for some splitters and save you some $$$$. Please email support@sparksmith.com for more information.

    What switchback blinkers are you using on the Chevy???

    • @Sparksmith
      @Sparksmith  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Those are our Signature Series switchback 3157 bulbs. I like to call them "obnoxiously bright": sparksmith.com/products/3157-sparksmith-s-series-bulbs

    how do you know which wire to splice on the signal light? I have the tan connector on a 2016 ford f150 with the three wires.

    • @Sparksmith
      @Sparksmith  Před 2 měsíci +1

      It's the outermost wire that is NOT black w/ yellow stripe. Black/yellow is ground, center wire is park lamps, the third wire is your turn signal circuit. Feel free to email support@sparksmith.com for more details.
