Those look nice, i like the reflection they do on your grill at the bottom. They create an illusion that they go all the way around. Most people install them on their hood or headlights. That looks different and nice. Great job.
One of the best installs I have seen on You Tube. You did a lot of forward thinking in your design.
I have these in my lexus since 2019, surprisingly the still work as charm. I simply taped the hell out of the box.
I just got these today, opened up the circuit board and they actually covered the whole board up good this time! But I still added some RTV to the exposed soldered wires on the ends just to be safe.
Gotta agree with Bowtieguy, adding to the bottom of grill as well
Saw you on Chicago Drive yesterday, those lights are unmistakable. Love it. Think I'll be adding something similar to my Jeep..👍
I like how you made it plug & play.
You should do the same on the bottom, it would look 20 times better 👍😎🕺
Very nice job on the wireing
Those really look awesome
My son and I installed some on his foxbody. I had the same concern about moisture. I used shrink wrap on the controller and connectors. It’s been two years and they work fine. He didn’t use the turn signals because he has aftermarket headlights with switchback signals. They look very cool. They look great on your truck!
oh a fox body 🥲 wtf man
🍊
Ok. I did it. You inspired me. I installed the same kit on my JEEP last night!
Nice!
Where are pictures or video I want to do the same on my wrangler how did you do it?
@@5sunny01 I'll be posting a video shortly on the install. It turned out awesome, I'm super happy with it.
@@BadLuckHotRod definitely link me brother, I want to see how it’s installed or if you can send me a text. I will order it now so I can do the same
This looks awesome.
Nice job... Way more professional then the ones you see using t-tap (🤦♂️) connectors...I have seen others using a molex pin and inserting it into the OEM light plug so there are 2 wires from the 1 spot in the plug. Yours is more modular... Easier to switch out for a new led strip if there is a failure. ... Thanks for the idea of silicone on the circuit board...I would probably add some to the ends of the led strip too...So what's next for the accent lighting? Footwell lights, underbody lights? Engine bay ? Tailgate led bar?.. I did the footwell and underbody and use them as night approach lights (on when car is unlocked or door is opened)...Footwell lights adds some cabin illumination at night... Will have to look into adding those sequential turn signals.... And maybe something similar on the back.
Looks awesome!
Nice work
Now you need swich back side markers.
i'm trying to get ideas for switch back markers on my 04 g35.
Looks amazing !! Getting myself a set up . btw 😉
Great video! Planning on doing this to my 2018 Silverado. Could you please link those connectors. Also any other help would be appreciated man!
I'm pretty noob with electrical stuff and wanted to get the DRL LED strip with sequential turn signal built in, but having to splice the indicators into the wiring harness would likely void my warranty. I guess I'll just stick with the regular DRL LED hood strip that you can just plug into the fuse box using a piggyback harness.
Nice
Which connector on the head lights did you run them to
Nice...
Do the led bow next please
If you do a widebody kit like you did the last one can you do an install video?
I certainly will!
Maybe a dumb question. But did you cut out your bow tie on the grill? Or does it just have that opening if I remove mine? I like that look plus getting more air in the grill is a plus.
I cut mine out
@@snedenwerks id love to see a video on how you did it, even just a walk through
I hook them up to turn and headlight. You think that will be ok.
I don’t need them on during the day so that’s why I didn’t connect to my running lights.
Your thoughts please.
You can hook them up any way you want to run them. Mine only come on when the park/marker lights are on
👍👍😍😍
What is that stuff you put inside the light for it to last longer?
RTV gasket maker
Looks bad ass. Any update on how they are holding up
No issues so far and I have been running it in all kinds of weather
@@snedenwerks what about now?
Still going strong. No issues
I have a 2015 Silverado, and how do I know what wire is which?
I don’t know on the ‘15s definitely test the plug ends with a meter or light to see what does what. Good luck 👍
How long did they last / are they lasting so far?? really curious!
Mine are still going strong. No issues and this thing is my daily
What yr is your.....Chevy
Which silicone you used
I like to use the RTV silicone sealant in a can but any will really work
What is the link to Amazon for this exact light plz?
Old video, no idea
O mama!
So how long did theses last? Or are they still going strong?
Mine are still going strong! I feel like coating the boxes with RTV makes a huge difference in longevity
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
How are they holding up?
Still going strong
👍👍👍🇺🇲
Should have glued it to the inside of the grill
Update?
Still works
Where did you get the wire and connectors?
Amazon. Search; Weather pack connectors
6:15 ok
I added an LED strip under the hood and my car instantly gained 5 hp.
😂
