Have you tested the Vaultek Slider series? I've seen the vulnerabilities in their top opening products, but would be interested in seeing their newer line of sliders tested.
How hard is it to pull the cable from the little brown piece that connects it form the box so that they could just take the whole box without cutting the steel cable? What's so special about the M-Lock locks from MAKE locks? What tools is it resistant to?
I didn't test how hard it is to pull the cable from the crimped piece. You can contact Steelhead and ask them to provide some testing data on that. The M1 lock is an excellent lock with a sidebar. The lock looks like a wafer lock, but it isn't. The sidebar is inaccessible from inside the keyway, so there is no way to compromise it. The face plate is 1/8th inch steel, and there are also anti-drill pins in the face of it. You're going to have to ruin a drill bit or two, or a couple of screwdrivers, to force it open.
I would love to see how this lock handles a drill test. I doubt all of these cam type locks. It seems like it could be drilled out with a large drill bit like 3/8-1/2” in
That depends on how comfortable you are with swapping out locks, and on the level of security you need. The other key-locked boxes don't allow for heavy enough cables, and they aren't made with much steel. I have to leave it to you to decide what you're comfortable with.
Do you have a recommendation on the best brand besides this brand for a lockbox stored in a vehicle? I have a CCW but there are times were it is not legal for me to carry inside a building. I am a big fan and think that these videos are very educational. All of the research I’ve done has been leading me back to cheap boxes or Amazon (which seem like really poor products).
They only sent one cable. You can see close-up comparisons between the Steelhead cable and typical cables in a previous video: czcams.com/video/88UC2RQXXxo/video.html So I didn't try cutting the one cable they sent me. I explained in the previous video that I don't recommend keeping a gun locked inside one of these in the car. These boxes are for temporary storage.

Most locks can be drilled. I've been force-testing locks for years. What's the point?
