  • You may think you know The Beatles, but can you correctly identify their songs in less than one second?! Today, I'm testing my abilities to name Beatles songs after hearing just a 2 second clip, a 1 second clip and finally a ½ second clip! Let me know in the comments if you beat my score!
You can stream my EP "The Longest March" at Spotify: sptfy.com/davidbennett
or download it at Bandcamp: davidbennettpiano.bandcamp.com/
And, an extra special thanks goes to Vidad Flowers, Ivan Pang, Waylon Fairbanks, Jon Dye, Austin Russell, Christopher Ryan, Toot & Paul Peijzel, the channel’s Patreon saints! 😇

I impressed myself when I was able to guess Lucy In The Sky. I could tell from the one snare hit we got that it was from one of the later albums. Initially I thought it was the intro to Carry The Weight, but then I thought "Wait, what if it's the pre-chorus drum fill for Lucy?" The second play confirmed it. I'm proud of myself for that!

I got all 10 on the first two, and two on the half second list as you did. I laughed when you stumbled on Ringo's drum solo as being from "The End" just like you did on the drum track quiz which I also just tried and got 20 of 20. My 30 years as a Ringo Starr tribute artist helped on that. Please continue helping keep the Beatles music alive and in your generations' memories long after I have gone on to Rock N Roll Heaven. peace and Love.

@@007Julie Whenever The Beatles came to town (which was only twice) the town would be a buzz trying to find out where they were staying etc. So my friend's Mom came home from work and was so excited that she piled us kids in her car and says let's just go down to Dodger Stadium and see what's going on. Once we got there she was more excited so she had us kids wait while she went to a liquor store to cash a check and then bought us all tickets to go in to see the show! You could barely make out what songs they were playing for all the screaming and yelling that was going on. They were on a stage on one side of the ball field and there was a big tent behind it with a banner on it that said The Beatles. I could see David Crosby (of The Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash fame) on the field in front of the stage. Once in a while fans would attempt to scale the fence and get onto the field and run toward the stage. Police would chase them down and escort them off. My friend's Mom would yell Run! Run! She was so excited. Even our parents were influenced by that band. When they finished playing they went into the tent and a limo drove out of it and tried to leave the stadium, but there we so many wild fans they didn't get far and had to drive back in and the band disappeared into one of the dugouts. I can't say musically it was one of the best concerts I've been to, but it certainly is one of the most memorable.

LOL. This brings back memories. Back in my partying days, we'd all get together on weekends for parties where we would have constant music playing from a library of maybe a hundred or two different albums from a wide variety of artists/bands. Every once in a while, someone would decide to put on a particular song on a particular album. This was back in vinyl days, so that would require aiming the tonearm at the appropriate "gap" on the record. Depending on the person's level of sobriety at the time, this was not always precise. They would slightly miss the "gap" and then immediately pick up the tonearm and, then, land it right where it should be. That would produce a momentary blast of the wrong song for about a half second but it was enough for almost all of us to recognize the song and the album and there would be a chorus of "oh no's" from those of us who knew what was coming and didn't want to listen. It just blew the minds of those newer to our regular group that we could recognize the song from nothing more than a momentary burst of "noise." "How can you do that?" they would say. "I can't believe you can do that!" LOL.
