In all honesty, I would have preferred if you had done gun guides for all of the at launch weapons before any of the DLC weapons. It's pretty annoying that the Atlas has a gun guide after a few weeks of implementation, but none of the pistols have been covered at all and none of the varients were discussed in this episode. These guides have been super in depth, very informative and interesting but it's such a shame that I still don't know the damage profiles/ranges/stats etc of guns that have been in the game for 11 months
In Zombies it is, but it is treated as an AR in multiplayer. Not only does it have stats similar to the ARs, but it also has the camo challenges of them.
It has the same optics and attachement as all of the AR , of course ballistic rifle , kbar 32 , nv4 , and the , classic white ar with the usa flag at its side , it has a grenade launcher when you hold triangle on ps4 lol , that thing you better play with silencer plus grip , it kicks a lot
The TF141 is still the best sniper in my opinion if you’re playing aggressively. You move around so quickly and even if you don’t get a one hit kill, it’s so easy to get a quick follow up shot before most other players reacts. Factor in the lower idle sway and amazing center speed, it’s so fun to run around with this particular sniper. Probably the best sniper for multi kills as well if you are decently accurate.
Judging by the stats I just watched in this video... it would appear to be the Widowmaker? I would have to agree in terms of gameplay. I've tested out both a fair bit and just found the WM to be the better weapon. It's much more consistent, easier to follow up on shots and larger 1 (burst) hit potential. Got 6k kills with the Widowmaker and a 1.8 k/d. TF-141 I'm at like 1k with a 0.7 k/d... :(
the amount of exceptions/exemptions/outliers/special cases of weapon mechanic statistics must have been a nightmare for creating statistical breakdown videos throughout this game.. i applaud you for all youve done throughout this iteration, hopefully WWII wont be as complex as IW
S Bode agreed. Some of the epics have pretty significant stat changes. The kbs harbingers feeder perk is interesting, as well as the faster rate of fire from the Proteus polarity. I also would like to have seen how strong the quickdraw effect on the dmr 1 spectacle is. Pity these things didn't get covered, even if it was just these bigger and more significant variants
My favorite sniper is the Trek-50, I'm a PC player so we already don't have aim assist for snipers and the Trek is just so satisfying to use. Also it shreds with thermal :D
It's not easy, but not impossible. I can usually find a few TDM games but that's about it. I haven't played in a few weeks so I don't know how it is right now.
I have never been a sniper but I really enjoy using the TF-141. I play HC so its always a 1-shot kill but the low idle sway makes it easy for a sniping noob like me to use it at least somewhat decently. Its kind of fun picking people off across the map. I just hate staying in one spot too long. Gets boring quickly. Just my 2 cents.
Everything about Trek 50 surprised me, I've only used it a few times and didn't get a good feel for it, I'll make a class with it right now and give it another try.
Widowmaker smoke or the Proteus are my favourite snipers. Proteus is good for quickscoping and the shotgun mode means you don't need a secondary with it.
Proteus is the most fun weapon to use in all IW. Next to cyclopean which I dont have. But proteus has decent one shot kill and its good for up close because of the shotgun. Also I love the switching animation.
The information you gave for the Proteus and Trek-50 peaked my interest because I barely use them. As for my favorite sniper, it's a tie between the Intervention and the Widowmaker. My friends don't like either one because of the hitmarkers they get, but I think they're the most fun to use.
My two favorites are the proteus and the widow maker. The optic on the proteus just seems to make it easier for me. And the ability to quickly switch to a shotgun (and effective one at that) is priceless. The widowmaker just seems to get me more one shot kills...now i know why. Even if i hit them in the legs, its a kill.
Me and my mate do QS on cod I... learned... to quickscope in Black Ops 4 with Paladin (400ms ads) He’s used to a bit of sway (doesn’t use grip or cpu) For those reasons, our preferred snipers of choice are KBS and Proteus respectively
Decided to go back. I wish that IW didn't treat arms separately for the TF and EBR. When enemies ADS, their arms go and cover their upper chest meaning you aren't going to get a one shot kill.
EBR any variation is best. 1-shot kill from waist above with a rifle mode for medium-close range. Plus it's an energy weapon and can regen ammo with fusion mag. Best hybrid/jack of all trades weapon in the game in my opinion.
When I went for diamond snipers, I realized how different each were and how some were really inconsistent but I wasn't to surprised with stats because the stronger snipers are slower and the weaker ones are faster when aiming. And I also gave myself a personal challenge with snipers when I got diamond. I purposely took off aim assist because I was used to BO3 sniping and honestly, I feel it easier to snipe without aim assist especially when going for the headshots and drag scopes.
I love using ELO sight on snipers. I used it on the ebr and widowmaker so far (just unlocked the tf141) and it is really Nice on the widowmaker, I really recommend it
My favorite snipers were always the trick snipers proteus and ebr. It frees up a slot for for extra equipment or perks. Plus after play bloodborne i really had respect for these trick weapons. But that was for the sniper class. Favorite submachine gun was the Karma just because it's based on the vector 45 and that gun hardly ever get video game representation.
I haven't unlocked the TF-141, can't stand the Trek-50 or Proteus, mostly indifferent towards the KBS, but I have more fun with the Widowmaker , DMR-1, and EBR. I'd say the EBR is my favorite, but that's because I use the AR mode, predominantly.
I like the proteus, now I can use an AR for mid range without needing to equip a shotgun on the class (because I can switch the proteus to shotgun mode)
I'm not sure the DMR has a headshot dropoff. I did get longshot headshots with it that were 1 shot kills when I was working on black sky. Granted, I don't know if they had previous damage done to them, but about 15 of my longshots were 1 shot headshots. Also, what is the ADS reduction with the ELO sight? It feels like it's super slow, or is it just the same as normal sights but feels much slower?

Despite the lack of hip spread the I've gotten more hip fire kills with the trek 50 than any sniper it doesn't seem to suffer from the ads aim assist nerf snipers got granted I know it doesn't have aim assist but it seems more accurate hip firing that other snipers
My favorite is the widomaker it seams more accurate at the expense consistency and if I hitmarker follow up shots are easier so its a fair trade not fond of bolt action or break action and the ebr has way too much kick the tf141 is probably my second favorite followed by the dmr and longbow that's probably reverse of every body else but I don't care if its not consistent it doesn't matter if you can't hit the target

In Zombies theres some. they say you have to be moving to get aim assist. No you have to to get target assist. of course you can feel target assist when you move.. But aim assist should be felt all the time. Aim assist is snap aim. Theres no snap aim. So if u arent on target when you ads then it wont feel right. but yeah imo there is no snap aim. If u have to move to feel assist thats target assist bc it helps you stay on target. Aim assist should snap onto you even slightly if there is any at all. but theres obv none bc people wouldnt have complained after years of playing other cods. Even bo3 has better aim assist. Ww2 has much better aim assist. Something is missing in iw and i think its aim assist. No snap aim at all. if u can manage to get on tatget you will have alittle bit of aim assist. Which brings up if synaptic has a smaller hit box
+Arie Jwz this one episode took over a week to put together. I think you seriously underestimate the time and effort that goes into a gun guide video. This is also my job and I need to prioritize my time. These episodes aren't nearly as popular as they were and they're hardly worth all the time that goes into them. I earn far below minimum wage making this series

It's not easy, but not impossible. I can usually find a few TDM games but that's about it. I haven't played in a few weeks so I don't know how it is right now.
Elo suppressed Trek 50 is just God tier I love going close range with the zephyr I can actually treat it like a shotgun

I would classify the rechamber of the Trek-50 as a reload. It does gain increased reload speed when you put Dexterity on.
The rare varient of the trek 50 makes your reload faster. Combined with dexterity and it's better than the AW Mors

The proteus in shotgun mode when aiming down sight has a tighter spread unlike the other shotguns in the game.
Many of the shotguns in IW behave this way, just to varying degrees
