I was there for the Bobby game vs Van city last year, wearing my Bobby Ryan jersey. That was a special night for all of us especially for him.

Bobby is such a legend, great to see him reminisce about the sens
Sucks we bought him out. His leadership with all the young guys and still having the ability to produce the way he has this year is something we are missing. Hope he gets traded to a contender at the deadline and gets another crack at the cup.
Also would love to see Chris Kelly or Chris Neil on this. Feel like both of them would have some great stories.

@@langdonalger9219 his presence the way he carries himself. The way his teammates looked up to him. This interview for example. He’d also drop the gloves to stick up for a teammate. (When MacArthur got hit by sieloff in practice). And his experience from playing in the nhl since 07. Also with what he’s had to deal with off the ice with his family. And the hand injury’s. His numbers were expected to drop. The fact he’d still go out every game inject shit into his hand and still put the effort game in and game out like he did and was a huge part of our run is remarkable. That’s leadership willing to put the team first.

Bobby was and is one of my favorite players. Met him a few times and he was nothing but class. We even named our Orange Tabby after him Bobby-Ryan, like the guy he's a great dude as well.
We have a Sens monkey doll thing we call Bobby-Ryan. It’s a fun name to say.
That day I saw Wally in the Sens shop buying a Stone jersey. He was on TV 30 mins later. Lol.

Met Methot the summer he was traded to Ottawa. He was overseas at the World championship, and the company I subbed from was doing some work on his place in Ottawa. Dealt mostly with his dad. Seem like great people and good job on these podcasts. Two epi in and guests have been fantastic. Keep it up.

He wasn’t alone. Tuesday night was one of my all time favorites on Twitter. Some Sens Sicko were clearly just standing back and having a good laugh at the whole thing. The suckers like me got right into the trenches and started slinging it with literally the dumbest 20% of Leafs Nation. Not sure what percentile that puts me in but all I know is it was fun.
This podcast is amazing --- keep it up!! Love seeing Bobby and Meth chatting and seeing Wally giggling like a little schoolgirl....
Great show. Given the focus on the 2017 run, I would’ve like to hear what he thought of how it all went so wrong the next year.
great episode, here's an essay:
lots of emotional moments from a bunch of recent sens seasons. 2017 is such a bittersweet run to look back on because i remember the excitement and everything surrounding that team and they were so close just for it to end and everyone was so down on that team but they deserved way more credit than they got. i got to go to game 6 against pittsburgh and that was an incredible game, and bobby had a great moment then too, got the chant going after his goal and he had a little shoving match with malkin by the benches everyone loved. admittedly i am pretty delusional about how good the sens are, in that i always believe they have a chance to win, but that team honestly could come back from ridiculous circumstances and that made them magical to watch (also i think i deal with the delusion pretty healthily so it's ok lol). one thing about bobby's time here that i really respected and made the community embrace him was his initiative to get kids in the stands who otherwise couldn't go and that kind of thing always means a lot for a community. if you're good at hockey the fans will cheer for you while you're good, but if you're good for the community the fans will always cheer for you. loving methot doubling down on his trolling. if you can't stand by it, don't say it (but i do kind of side-eye the implication that all k-pop fans are crazy obsessive people, some do just like the music lol.) i'm not sure i buy the leafs as a favourite though, they seem kind of fragile. maybe they are good enough to not have that matter but also i will die laughing if they can only win the cup in a joke season. also, craig's dog is the best and keep up the great work guys!

It wasn't the right move. The problem is EM watches his nickels too much. Bobby is as good if not better than Dadonov and it's his positive attitude on the young kids especially after cleaning up his drinking issue.
