Hi, I bought the exact same engine and I am very happy with it. Since I have to replace the propeller, could you give me the right measurements: pitch and diameter? Thank you very much
@@StompedAgain you’re not lying!!! I can’t get mine off with hammer, threaded prop puller or anything else. Need to get to my prop shaft seal as it drips a drop or two a day. I’m thinking heat next? Like a torch. Not sure
Yes, must add 2-stroke oil into the fuel. Runs well on 91 Octane pump gas. If 2-stroke oil is not added to the fuel the engine will be destroyed very quickly. 2-stroke engines use the oil in the fuel for lubrication, there is no other engine oil. For mix ratio I follow instructions on oil container, between 50:1 and 100:1 depending on oil. Pour oil into fuel tank then fill with correct amount of gas, will be well mixed that way.
I'm 16 and starting to get into boats so I'm fixing up my dad's old boat and this was actually really helpful to me

Hi, I hope the prop comes off easily for you, they can become fused on and very hard to remove!! For correct prop I suggest calling a Mercury dealer.
