I had a chuckle over your doggy story… we had a miniature schnauzer who was “ asked to leave” from several groomers until we ran out of places to take him. He’d bark and bite at the groomer and one time convulsed..He became severely matted till we finally had to resort to taking him to the vet to be “ knocked out” and then shaved. I am a newcomer to your great channel ! Thanks for great ideas!
Those jack-o-lanterns were also back in the 70s & 80s when I was a child. Most of the kids used them for trick-or-treating, but I didn't like using them. It seemed like more candy fit in the bags we used.

Chip's broom tail is so festive, he's in the Halloween spirit! I would love to see anything to do with the haunted house (that's so cool!) and different styles of decor. I don't decorate anywhere near your style (year-round dark decor and pastels for me) but I like the way your brain works and I love fall.

I love your haul!! I got one of those lanterns and put it with my witchy decor, it reminded me of old Salem witch days. I would definitely love to see and hear about your haunted house decorating that sounds so fun it's something i would love to do. I would also definitely keep the pillow you love, I do the same thing and in the end I'm always happy I kept the one I really loved. I've already decorated a fall halloween but I save things like jack-o-lantern for the end of September. That picture from Salem is so cool! Oh your dog is so cute!! My sister has the same problem with her palm and she buzzes him and he always looks like he's got a lopsided head and choppy fur lol... he goes around thinking he looks great, it's soooo funny! I was thinking the same thing, going to hit up some local antique shops for some vintage Halloween decor, I looked last year and didn’t find much, love the vintage look, I was actually checking Amazon the other day for some and nothing caught my eye. I need to head over to Big Lots for those vintage looking mini buckets, love everything in this haul! My dog is the same way, his nails are so long bc he gets major anxiety at the groomers, yours still is a cutie anyway!🥰🍂🍁🎃
Keep the pillow you love. I have the cat one I love it, I have arachnophobia so I wouldn't want the spider one, but I think it's best to go with what speaks to you, and not worry about what's the best match, after all it's for you not for a magazine or anything.
