I like simple decor . Your ideas are always great !
I Really enjoyed seeing the pumpkins and the beautiful flowers you grew.
Beautiful natural pumpkin 🎃 and flower 🌾 I do love the fall season too🍃🍂🍁
thank you for watching!
I use to decorate much more. We moved into a new build in 2020 & my style has been evolving since. I find that if I keep things simpler & use more muted colors (for fall) I can leave it up longer. I almost feel like the bright oranges seem cartoonish to me so this year I am doing browns, rusts, muted yellows. It’s just more calming to me. I can’t even believe your centerpiece is real, just beautiful! 🍂
Yes, I love that the simple decor can be left up longer and used for multiple seasons even! Thanks for watching!!
Your pumpkins are awesome! 🎃💕
I love the simple look! It is refreshing. I need to try the simmer pot recipe. Thanks for sharing. 🍁🤗🍂
Love your pumpkin harvest and your gorgeous flower garden!
Thanks so much Barb!!
I love it all 🍂🍁🌾 so pretty! What a great pumpkin haul and beautiful flower garden!
Thanks girl!
Beautiful pumpkin harvest and beautiful garden.
Thanks so much!
Just found your channel love it! Wonderful pumpkin harvest!
I love your garden. Wow! Didn’t except to see it so big and beautiful. Kitchen looks great, I do very little in my kitchen too, i don’t have much counter space and I do use my kitchen daily
Beautiful decor, I love how you styled your kitchen. Love your pumpkins, how fun. I’ve never tried a simmer pot, you’ve inspired me. TFS! 🧡🍁🌾🐿
Thank you - yes definitely try one!
What a beautiful flower garden!
Thanks so much!
Congrats in your flowers this year. Thet are pretty. You had alot of pumpkihs, very cute. I like the pops of fall decor in your kitchen. I do not have alot of falk decor in my kitchen. Thank you.
Look at those beautiful pumpkins! I've missed your videos. The flowers are beautiful. I think the decorations in the kitchen are just right. Can't wait to try the recipe.
Thanks so much Donna!! Let me know what you think of the simmer pot
tfs . . beautiful flower/pumpkin garden your pumpkins turned out beautiful . . love your simplistic decor . . tfs your "simmer" pot recipe
have a great "pumpkin" day 🥰🧡🙋♀️🍁🎃🍂
Thank you so much - have a great pumpkin day too!!!
We always decorate alot for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The more the merrier! 😁
Totally! I go all out for christmas
Wish I lived in your neighborhood. Beautiful flowers!
Thank you so much Jan! It would be so fun if you lived here - you could just come and cut some yourself!
I have a similar size kitchen. I appreciated seeing how you decorated your kitchen. I love it!
Thanks so much Mary!
I love love loooovvveeee your channel! And Omg those gorgeous pumpkins! My favorites are the white ones and the frosted skin ones! 💃💃💃
Thank you so much Nikki!!
Your garden is fabulous. Lots of hard work, I bet. The bees are happy 😉. I am going to try the fall simmer pot. Love the warty pumpkins. 🤎🍁🧡🍂
Thank you Barbara! Yes lots of hard work - I've honestly let it go the past few weeks. The bees are obsessed with my celosia. I'm happy that they are happy!
Yout pumpkins are amaze balls!
Thank you Donna! I'm thrilled with them!
Luckily, I have space on top of the kitchen cabinets to decorate for the seasons while having it out of my workspace. I LOVE your videos and would especially like any gardening content in addition to all the other beautiful things you share.
Thank you so much Rachel! Unfortunately the tops of my cabinets hold all our extra pots and pans lol!
Your pumpkins and flowers are gorgeous! What a nice feeling it must feel knowing you planted the seeds, nurtured, watched them grow and can now use them for natural decor. So beautiful. I use to make up simmering pots years ago. Never thought of using pears and I love pear. Pier I use to sell a spiced pear scented candle that was my go to. (I lol when you made the comment regarding the cutting of the cucumber). I love the vase on the table from Target, great price. I like both arrangements, great color. I like florals that are wispy and spill over the top. There's nothing wrong simple 🧡🏵️🍁
Thanks so much Lisa! Yes the reward of growing things myself is really what its all about! The pear did add a unique scent profile to the simmer pot I think. PS I miss pier 1! that was a great store - I know they are online but it isnt the same!
I love both but I think I liked the ferns more but absolutely everything is beautiful!
Thanks so much Brenda!!! I appreciate it
I am more minimal in my kitchen too and really enjoyed seeing your natural decorations!🍁🍂🍃 So glad you got so many beautiful pumpkins from your garden! And your flowers are amazing! So much work & love out there!! Thanks for showing us!! Wish it would cool down.. today it will be 108° where I live. I'm decorated for Fall though even on the porch!🍁🍂🍃🥵😂
New to you, I subscribed, and I enjoyed your video!! I help take care of my Mom at the moment after my Dad passed away last year and she has the most insane kitchen counter tops, they drive me nuts, it is as if she can’t function without having everything she wants, and stuff she doesn’t use, right there on the countertop? So the windowsill is the only thing I decorate, plus a few kitchen towels. Nobody come for me but I in a way skip Fall, I do some pumpkins, but they stay where they are until I come in strong for Halloween. Then we put all of that away and start on Christmas immediately, we go all out, we do 3 Christmas trees, all kinds of stuff my Mom has collected over the years, plus the outside stuff. I love your style and thank you for your video! ❤️
Thanks so much, happy to have you here Terri! I'm sorry to hear about your dad - so sweet of you to step in for your mom though! We also do 3 christmas trees and go straight into christmas lol It's too short of a season to wait until december to decorate!
Your garden is stunning! I love all the colors. I can honestly say next to driving without snow on the roads and flowers are the only things I enjoy about summer. I'm a cooler weather kind of gal! Your kitchen is super cut, I love them simple purposeful placing of decor. I have what I call a "2 asses only" kitchen and like to keep my decorating minimal!
Thank you! I feel like my kitchen is a 1 ass only kitchen lol! Everyone knows I like the be the only one in there.
Absolutely! 😂😂😂
what a lovely pumpkin harvest! I started to grow some pumpkins but the drought here in texas was not gonna let that happen
but i will try again next year
Thank you! I was thankful mine survived our july heat wave. Hope you have better luck next time!
Loved all of this ! Thanks for sharing! You should sell your pumpkins I would so buy some!!!!
Thank you! I was thinking of making pumpkin flower arrangements if I have any extras after I decorate!
I like both the ferns and the darker floral but I like the ferns a little more. I do love the contrast of the darker plant tho as well!
Love the pumpkins you were able to grow! We are never very successful. Thank you for the simmer pot recipe I think I will be ready for one after this heatwave. I don’t want to add heat to our house lol. Hope you have a great week!!
Hope the heat wave passes soon and have a great week too!
I’m just blown away at what you’ve accomplished with all your flowers and pumpkins 👏🏼 so many beautiful flowers and intricately stunning, especially the dahlias (I think that’s what they were). That fruit all warm with those spices would be so yummy on a cool day. I use to fry up diced apples with spices and some sugar and put it over vanilla ice cream, gonna have to make some now 😜. Take care Kristen. 🥰
Yummmm those apples and icecream sound amazing! And thank you for your kind words
This is so exciting!! I normally decorate for fall in August but I am clinging to summer this year. I'm trying to get myself in the fall mood!
I do too! Ive been too busy to decorate until now though. Hope you got a little fall vibes to get you started though!
@@harvestandholly I did! You inspired me and I put out a few things today. 😀 Keeping it much simpler this year. I agree with the muted tones other have shared.
Oh my gosh, I absolutely love this-feels very natural and “Harvesty” GORGEOUS 🍂🍂
Thank you so much friend!!
Don't often comment but I found this video so lovely and not a stressful endeavor. I can do this..lol. Usually do so much decor but now I'm going minimal. This for the inspiration. You are truly talented.
Thank you so much Donna, glad this video was helpful!
You always have great ideals
Thank you so much!!
I love your decorating at a minimal , My kitchen is half the size of yours with literally no counter space so I only put out a few things in my kitchen!
So awesome you can grow your own Pumpkins , still waiting for them to come into my stores so I can buy some here in PA!
Love the flowers to!🍁🍂
Thank you so much Debra! Do you have a kroger grocery store? Looks like most have their pumpkins out now!
No we don’t but I finally found some today at a local produce store!! Thank you🍁🍂
I am new to your channel!! I love your style for sure ! Looking forward to seeing your other videos.
Thanks so much Lisa, happy to have you here!
I’ve been waiting for this 😅😍
Lol thanks so much friend!!
Beautiful 🧡🍁🎃 Wow....I love your flower garden & all the pumpkins are so cute!!! I probably put out too much decor lol but I live alone & have enough space. 🎃🍁🧡
If I had more space, I would go nuts lol! TFW
@@harvestandholly 🎃🧡👍
So beautiful ❤️
Thanks so much!
Omgosh look at all
The lovely pumpkins!! Everything looks great.
Thanks so much friend!
Love it, nice job!
Thank you!
@@harvestandholly you're very welcome 🤍🤍
I used to decorate a ton. But with age I've really downsized my decorations. I actually decorate for fall and Halloween at the same time. Just my mantle and beverage cart have touches of Halloween.
I think at a certain point you just realize that it doesn't take much decor for it to be festive!
I also have a small kitchen. I have a buffet that is more decorative than functional so that gets festive, but everything else stays the same except for a festive hand towel or two. I love to garden and enjoyed seeing all of your flowers. I understand the labor of love and skill that is the garden, and you should be very proud. 🍁
Thank you so much Aileen! Did you have a good gardening year so far? It's been so hot, dry and buggy here!
great video!
Thanks Lilly!
Great video. Beautiful flower garden.
I live in ohio too, kettering ohio😉
Thank you! Awesome, I'm in the NW part of the state!
So impressed with your pumpkins and flower garden. You did such a great job. Love the purple in the vase with the pumpkins.
Thank you so much Angie!!
Love your gorgeous pumpkins and the dark burgundy dried foliage!!
Thank you so much!!
I would love to get a better tour of the layout of your garden/ flowers! 🧡
Maybe I will do that in a future video!
It’s so nice to see a working kitchen minimally, yet effectively decorated instead of overwhelmed with decor. Your kitchen looks classic and calm. A gentle introduction into autumn.
Thank you! If its not functional, it's not for me.
My dollar tree just got apple cider in the same brand as the apple sauce ❤️
I need to look out for that, thanks for letting me know!
Our neighborhood produce stand offers flowers sometime so I really enjoyed your garden segment. Your pumpkins did really well too. Our kitchen has little counter space so I don't do much in it but make up elsewhere. Look forward to your tour. Where did you find the pot you use as a simmer pot? My husband really enjoys the fragrance /and spiced tea during the colder months.🌻
Kristen once again you've pulled together all the fall vibes in your home. Thanks for taking us along! I could almost smell the simmer pot 😍
Thank you so much for watching!
Everything is perfect. Love the corner display featuring the dried darker floral. Perfect touches to keep the kitchen functional and beautiful!
Thank you so much Suzanne!!
What a GREAT idea with the vanilla from the D T I will be going tomorrow to get it also you look super cute in that shirt may I ask where you bought it ?
Thanks for the video I also just picked 3 of the mini white 🎃 that I am so proud of lol 😆
Much love from Utah
How exciting that you got mini white pumpkins too!! Good Job! The shirt is from shein (not my favorite place but I haven't seen a bright orange plaid shirt anywhere else!)
When my grandson was little I tried to grow a pumpkin 4 him water water water all I got was the vine and leaves!
If you ever want to give it a go again, you can fertilize with a bloom booster to promote the flowers which produce the pumpkins!
So pretty! I enjoyed seeing the simpler take on fall for a kitchen. Also, your garden is gorgeous! 🤩 I know it’s not really what your channel is about, but I for one would I’d love to see gardening videos if you ever decide to do some! 🌻🤍🍁 🎃
Thank you so much! Maybe I will share more gardening content in the future then :)
The kitchen looks perfect Kristen. I keep my small kitchen simple too with autumn decor. Your pumpkins and flowers are gorgeous. Enjoy your evening! 🍁
Thanks so much Donna! Have a great week!
I love everything that you did! Everything looks so beautiful. Maybe you could try a round wicker tray on your table or something round underneath it to add some visual interest and texture around your vase. I’m sure whatever you decide will be beautiful
Thanks Zane! Yep, I'm gonna do something under the vase - just not sure what yet!
Love all your great pumpkins. We grew our own when the kids were little! Also your flower garden was amazing!
I have a very tiny kitchen with little counter space so outside of a small pumpkin cookie jar and kitchen autumn owels that's is it. I do have a shelf over my bay window that I decorate so that is fun. Its usually wood and copper pieces. Halloween is fun to decorate there.
Hi Marsha! Thank you so much. Your kitchen sounds lovely, I really don't think it takes much to make it festive!
Love simplicity - less is more!
Thank you so much!!
I'm soooo jealous of your pumpkins!!! Do you have an irrigation system?
No I dont! I have been hand watering... its been cumbersome to say the least. About mid July, I gave up watering them and just hoped for rain. I probably could have had way more pumpkins if I fertilized and watered more in the summer months
Yay, just got so excited to see you post! I’ve been (not so) patiently waiting for another fall video from you haha
sorry to keep you waiting, I won't do it again lol!!
May I ask where you found your pumpkin pot at? I have a small kitchen dining room combined so I don’t over decorate in there. I love your flower garden absolutely beautiful!!!!!! I am new here love all holidays but especially fall and Christmas!!!!!
Hi Cindy! Thanks for stopping by :) the pumpkin Dutch oven came from a Neiman Marcus online last year but I’ve been seeing them at Homegoods this year and Walmart usually comes out with a pioneer woman one in October every year too! 🎃
I love your flannel where is it from?! 😍
Love the simplicity especially in the kitchen. I use my kitchen and need it to be functional so I do small touches like this and I love it! Super impressed with the pumpkins you were able to grow! Would love to see a video on any tips and tricks you have for growing them.
Thanks so much Megan! I will definitely share tips this winter about growing pumpkins!
🥰 you have such a sophisticated style and I adore it!! Thanks for the inspo! Can’t wait to see your tour!
Thank you so much Brittany!!
It looks great but I’m totally a simple decorator in the kitchen. I just don’t want to have to work around or clean around the decorations especially because I want it very clean cuz you know.., food lol
Agreed 100%!
Can't wait to try the simmer pot! Would love to know more about your cut flower garden. Just moved in to a new home and had a small one this year, to test it out. Do you start them from seeds? How big is the garden and what types of flowers do you have? TFS.🏵️💐
Hi Carol! Yes I start everything from seed (the dahlias are tubers not seeds, but I start them from that point.) I bought a grow light on amazon for around $30 and attached it to a shelf and started my seeds indoors before the last frost according to the seed packets (I order my seeds from Johnny seeds and dahlia tubers from swan island dahlias.) this year I grew:
Snapdragons
Statice
Dahlias
Celosia
Zinnias
Phlox
Cosmos
Amaranthus
Basil, mint, lemon balm, sage and dill for foliage/filler
If you have any questions shoot me an email or DM on Instagram!
@@harvestandholly Thanks so much for the information, it helps! I just placed an order for the dahlias.🤓
Lots of beautiful 🎃s. Everything looks so cozy and I really like those flowers in your center piece on your table. Looking forward to more fall video’s 🍂🧡💛🍂
Thanks so much Anne!
Your 🎃 harvest is amazing and your cut garden is so beautiful. I can see how much love and effort you put into it. Your neighbors must love the florals they purchase from you. I like the simplicity of your decor. I don't decorate for Fall nor Halloween but I will incorporate some warm Fall tones into my current decor this time of year. Maybe an Ivory pumpkin or 2 as it gets closer to November. Thanks for sharing and for the simmer pot recipe. It has all the ingredients to spread the holiday scent throughout your home 🍁🍂
Thank you so much! Sometimes I feel like all you really need (if anything) is some warm scents, colors and maybe a pumpkin or two! It doesn't take much!
Everything looks so nice 🎃 I’m like you, less is more. Your garden is so pretty 🤩 just loved it. Thank so much for sharing and definitely trying that simmer pot recipe 🎃 🍂🍁
Thank you so much Maria!! Let me know what you think of the simmer pot
Where is your pumpkin pot for the simmering pot from?? so cute!!! Love your videos.
Thanks Angela! I got it last near from a department store, but I've seen them at Homegoods this year!
Fellow video blogger here, building my network!
I like the idea of decorating the kitchen, but we need thr space for cooking. Maybe I can decorate the cabinets.
Yes I definitely need the space for cooking too which is why I don't do much!
@@harvestandholly you have inspired me to get a pumpkin spoon holder and maybe another fall item that is practical for the kitchen.
Your flowers are gorgeous!! I also love the darker dried florals in the corner of your kitchen. I am really trying to simplify my decor and I feel that the kitchen is one area where I am successful with that!! The pumpkins and squash are beautiful. Such interesting varieties.😊🍁😊🍂
Thank you so much Jane! Its way easier to be minimal in the kitchen I agree - I tend tosometimes go overboard in other areas lol
I love love your pumpkins!! White is my favorite but I do love the grizzly but they're hard to find. Your garden is so beautiful and you should be proud of your flower sale. I've been turning into a little bit of a minimalist myself and I love it and my sister was just complimenting me on that today. Love the first decorate with you! 🤎🍂
Thanks so much! I don't see the grizzly bears most places so thats why I grew them. Your space must be really lovely with your new minimal style :)
Hi Kristen, I really love the flower garden and especially the brown Ameranthis (Spelling?). Is that easy to grow? I think i will also try a simmer pot this year, having people over in a couple of weeks. And being nosey, was that a bottle of room spray or soap on your table? I love all of the Nest fragrances..🍁🍂🍁
Thanks Kathy! Amaranthus is super easy to grow. It may reseed the following year if you let the blooms stay on the plant too long, but youd likely pull them anyway as they kind of resemble weeds when they are seedlings. The variety I have is called "hot biscuits" and can grow like 7 or 8 feet tall so best for the back of the garden. To get more blooms and shorter plants, pinch or trim the top set of leaves when the seedling is about 12 inches tall. And the Nest bottle is a handsoap! It's velvet pear - I love it soo much!
@@harvestandholly Thank You, going to do some research on that plant..🍂🍁
Simple is better
I like it too!
Of course I'm gonna stix with you...I like your style and that you do in particular the fall season....me too ! looking forward to your next showings....from super HOT So California.....my God, my goodness it's soooo Hot
Thanks so much! I hope california gets as cool down asap!!
I always love how you decorate! So simple and beautiful! ❤️ also love the pumpkins you did great with those! I laughed at the Kendall Jenner comment😂 thanks so much for sharing love as always!
Thank you so much! So glad you understood the kendall jenner reference lol
@@harvestandholly I did for sure 😂
Hi ! What is the name of the frosted pumpkin?
Hello. It's "Robins Koginut" by row 7 seed co. Autumn frost is a similar looking squash too
@@harvestandholly ~ Thank you! My daughter is getting married next year with a Fall reception! These would be so pretty in the decor.
@@annmariebuckley306 oh how fun! They would be really pretty for a weddinf
I found the vanilla extract as well at our DT. ALSO! Keep an eye out at your DT....I found jugs, the size your featuring, of Apple Cider! I was excited because it can be very pricey! Your pumpkins are so beautiful! Thank you for sharing with us! Love it all!🧡🍁🎃🍂
Good to know there’s also apple cider there! Thanks for watching 🎃🍂
Just starting and I love that shirt!🧡 omgosh that's a legit garden!! Did you happen to go to the garden behind Allison's house in Salem? When we were there in June it was gorgeous! I wonder if it still was during your visit. Congrats on your sale. Hope you did well! Loved your pumpkin footage 🍂🎃🍂 Not Kendall cutting a cucumber hahaha😆🤣
I'm so glad some of you got the kendall reference lol! Yes I did go to the Ropes Garden and it was amaaaazing! Put mine to shame. I literally cannot wait to go back to salem again!
@@harvestandholly same!! We're planning on going again next summer. Every month that passes I'm like "another month closer to Salem"!
