- Josh sits alone in a café, happily watching the world go by. Even if that means denying his longing for the waitress, Annie. But when Carrick walks into his life, the scene is set for an opportunity that could change Josh forever.

I absolutely love the short films on this channel. The film makers/writers can tell so much story in such a short time. Anyone know of other similar channels? I have watched everything here at least once.

Loved it. A watch on the watcher!
A priceless gift for a one-thousand-pound watch.
Wearing a watch defined him as a watcher, which is a person taking no action like he did at the beginning. He seemed to like that girl but was too afraid of talking to her. The thief shows up and gets pretty straightforward by giving him an offer for his watch, with which he is essentially trying to make him stop only observing. He immediately refuses, but after a lot of hesitation accepts the second riskier offer made, which at a first glance doesn't look interrelated to the first one. However that assumption is proven wrong when the thief tells him to follow his orders in 3 minutes. He says that purposely in order to make him look at the watch on his hand... but it's not there. It's not there because he stopped being a man of watching and took action by taking the risky path, by accepting an offer with unknown consequences. At the end he realises what the thief took him away, the weakness of lack of action. That's why he smiles and asks for the girl's number afterwards. - That's my interpretation, I am pretty sure there are even more to be mentioned
I have always liked these on here but not sure about this one.
What exactly happened?
the man didn't lie about being a thief
Good acting, well shot, interesting, but predictable. Why didn't he go after the thief, then come back for her number? It was set up that the watch clearly meant a lot to him, refusing the offers, then when it's stolen he just...goes back and sits down, all happy. Which is it? Maybe I missed something. Still nice though.
its kinda like , that man wanted his watch, and he offered 4000 pounds for it but he declined, so he came up with this and stole his watch and left him 5000 pounds!
@@danielcharles5085 He left him a bag of paper, not money. He was conned. So, he should of chased the man. He was robbed.
well did he see him in the first place to chase him? the man have disappeared when he came out
and refusing the offers.. I would refuse too even if I was planning to get rid of it next day simply because such an offer is strange and fishy and out of line in general
I don't get it.
what part?
