What a fantastic video. My family have run the farm for over 50 years and I have many great memories of holidays at the Wyke fishing where the fence now runs! Could be a while before there are any rods there again. Also I must say I was really impressed with your respectful way of walking. Not crossing fences where there wasn’t a style, dog on the lead and just being happy to be out in such a beautiful place. If only everyone followed your way. You should go back on a windy winters day when the tide is high. The west side of the head is a very different place then. Thanks again

Thank you Peter for that kind comment. Yes, as I live in the country I think it is up to folk like me to lead the way in films such as this to show respect for the countryside and those who work there. I am looking forward to going back on shuch a day in winter.

Amazing that you can see Ingleborough from Morecambe Bay on a clear day. (And isn't that Pen-y-ghent as well?) I appreciate your youtube content, Andy. Thank you.

Stunning video Andy. Another great place I haven't been, but is now on my to do list. Thanks for giving these lesser known routes plenty of attention.

Thank you Chris. I couldn't believe my luck, not only picking a beautiful day but also the season when the flowers were in bloom. I missed off a couple of points of interest on this route (so did AW) so I will also be going back again :)

Wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed that. It has been a favourite walk of mine for many years. I have to admit that I've never done it on a such a fine day. I think my most memorable experience was back in April 2005 when a spring tide forced us to avoid the path beside the salt marsh and go round via the road. When we finally reached the house the water was still too high, so we enjoyed an early lunch.

Thank you, yes, I was very lucky with the weather, maybe next time I visit I may not rate to so highly if the weather is inclement :)
