Absolutely!! I’d be terrified for him not to have a break -away collar and be fixed… cuts way down on fighting and cancer risk and wondering too far… (my cat was horrible for ‘marking’… got him fixed hoping it would help… it has somewhat…its only been a month 🤞🏼

After the first few times I just found a cheap way to let anyone know who's cat it is because I can't keeping buying id tags either

We took care of a stray who showed up in our yard for years. He was just like this. As he got older, he would stay inside and sleep all day but, no matter how awful it was outside (we live in WI) he wanted to go out at night.
Just like human men, lol. Rest during the day in order to have the energy for nocturnal adventures.
Same here. LIVE in Michigan, Big huge black tomcat appeared out of no where and like we do with the cats in the area which is very cat friendly and you can tell who has a home or is a stray. There is a few cat house set up in my yard for all the furry creatures that want to use them which are not all cats.
Well that cat started to come into the house a lot more and thank god all of our cats are fixed cause that boy has a set on him if you get my meaning. Well we were getting him used to us so that he would stay in the house for a few days and then get him fixed. Turns out that getting him fixed fell around Halloween and since he is a black cat we felt that he would be better off in the house for a few days. He spent most of the time in a outdoor cat corral as we call it as it was just a chicken coop only bigger where the cats could go in and out through a tunnel connected to one of the windows. He was out there for the entire 3 days minus coming in to eat and drink. Well by us doing that he decided to stay with us, He still goes out side but never really leaves the yard and when he wants in all we have to do is look on the AC and there he is.
Was a shock when he wouldn't come in for the night and opened the windows to see this really big cat with large green eyes staring at you. Didn't think my dad could yell like that
They are animal, it their habitat. You house is not their home, no matter how comfortable.

This is the sweetest thing! My neighbor has an outdoor cat named Alfie(short for Alfredo). He loves people. He comes over for catnip and cuddles. Then he goes across the street for more rubs. Hes the neighborhood cat and we all love him! Miso is absolutely a sweetie :)

This is soooo sweet and I can understand why you worry…you never know if he will just not come home one day! But, you love him enough to let him have his cat freedom, which they love! But, I died laughing when you lowered the bag and he just sat there like he didn’t see the bag or hear you…cats are hysterical!!! I pray the two of you have many years together…❤❤❤

Cats should not be allowed off of the property where they live, and should not be outside at all between dusk and dawn. It is the law in some countries/territories. This cat is straying and killing native wildlife because this youtuber is a pos.

We don't really have strays where this video is from. It's a common occurrance to see cats wander the streets there and they are all microchipped and belong to someone. Some cats even have more than one family. :)

The two of them have worked out what makes them both happy. I too would worry about his night life. My cats are indoor cats. They are very relaxed and sleep a lot. But their life would not do for a high energy cat like Miso.

Miso has a great 👍🏽 life in GERMANY 🇩🇪. His DAD understands his need to roam at night. Great 😊 pair. I love that these cats trust their owners to retrieve and pick them up this easy everyday. 🙆🏻♀️🫶🏽

This is too funny, a secretive vampire cat prowling the streets at night with his own elevator who turns back into a loving fur ball at sunrise.
My cats have a double life too!! It makes me nervous when they go out partying at night. But keeping them indoors when they want out is pure hell for me and them! 🤣 And I get up a lot throughout the night and make them check in 🥰❤️ I’m glad that you know where your goes now! Mine just come home in the morning and pass out, and I wonder what they have been up to!

Where he lives, most people here prefer microchips over collars because cats could hang themselves accidently on a collar.

Clearly Miso was a construction equipment inspector in a previous life. Still, I would be nervous to do that kind of elevator trick with my cat outside the window. You would need really steady hands to do that.

Can i just recommend a collar just so others know he has a home and nobody takes him. This is such a sweet deal, cats love exploring but we always want them to come home.
Over here in Germany a lot of cats with owners go roaming outside without wearing collars (danger of strangulation!) and nobody would suspect that a healty looking kitty has no home.

I used to live in Germany, and my neighbor had a long, skinny wooden ladder going down from his window into the courtyard for his female cat. I loved the concept and he was just as sassy as his cat, so he didn't care what others thought about it. Gotta keep the kitties happy! I really enjoyed spending time with his cat, too💜
