How to get death of the despot ending. Note: No real human being or animals were harmed for making this video of fake digital people suffering from winter storm.
"all thank our leader for this bright new day... now march to work" bro, that line already sounds apocalyptic as hell but when combined with people literally dismantling their homes at -90°C its just peak insanity
I did the same in Endless mode. Our city had a shitload of resources and mountains of good food in store. Automatons doing all the work. Everybody could just chill in their warm and cozy houses doing nothing except going to the Pub or watch fights in the Arena. Until one morning a citizen started bitching about something. "Boo-hoo, it's getting colder every day". LET ME SHOW YOU THAT THINGS COULD BE WORSE. I Released guards from their duties, let prisoners run free, shut down all the kitchens, tore down all the houses, shut down the generator, took apart everything. That'll show them. 700 hundred confused citizens gathered around the cold generator. I didn't dismantle the automatons. I just left the automatons standing there without a power source, lifeless and cold. Reminding what the people had just yesterday. Two days pass. Discontent is (for undestandable reasons) high so they kick me out of the city >I did my best Ungrateful bastards. I tried to teach them a lesson.
@@mclovin2408it was only until my second successful playthrough that I realized that the coal mines didn’t run out. I was afraid of wasting a steam core on an expensive coal thumper
Dude, it would have been better if you just overloaded the reactor with the overcharge feature until it exploded - it would have resulted in the same outcome except you skip the execution cutscene and you die with the satisfaction knowing the next asshole just want turn the generator back on.
Don't let any gamers that play RTS in sadistic manners authority in the real world. In the events of an apocalypse and rebuilding society. They are hella worse than Mad Max fanatics.
I can't even find it funny with this music on. This soundtrack is so epic and i have connected it in my brain with all the hardship everyone got through just to survive (or let others survive after they are gone). Frostpunk is a very emersive game. I can't even find this video funny. (funny idea though)
I did the same my first time when i got to the end as i had a lot of resources, but only build watchtowers. It looked wild! Will never know what could have been as red dead 2 came and put the game away! When i returned to it i decided to try a new game as i forgot about that save and saved over it
What happens if you dismantle everything just before the end, so there's no time to lose to dissatisfaction? Do most of them just survive the storm and you get a win?
@@finalbossA pff. I mean it's understandable there'd be no immediate kill condition programmed for cases like this due to how the game is dturcutured and fucntions mechanically, but it's still funny and weird

the devil built this city
What's more insane though, ordering everyone to tear down the houses just before a storm, or an entire city following that order?
"People are furious", the understatement of the year.
Everyone suffers this way
It misspelled frozen 😅
You can't have cold buildings if there are no buildings
People only have themselves to blame if they see half the city being dismantled and CONTINUE to do so.
"i did my best"
💀
The emoji stands for his people
“Guilty of crimes against our city”
What city blehhh :p
You're a worse captain than the one from Winterhome

Alright Japhet the Firebird, calm down!
@@Blockistium I understood that reference
Meanwhile there’s me trying to keep the generator on for them down to the last minute of my rule, even if I can only afford to have it on level 2.

**Temperature drops further**
10/10 timing, random citizen
I never knew dead bodies actually physical thing until this video lmao

People can take care of themselves 😘

No i think they are chill

"Beats me, some guy named Stewart told me to"
Don't let this guy rule a country

bro let the intrusive thoughts win
“ sure I’m glad we get maximum insulation in time for the big storm… what do you mean? The captain wants us to dismantle everything!?”
I actually managed to end it with one person using the most extreme laws and dismantling the buildings just under 2 days of the storm end.
the heating is off .. '' of course ''
Can't be guilty of crimes against the city if there is no city - the captain, probably

Wow, that was even more cold hearted than DDRJake! You are rough! Now get to work!!
Wow. I don't think that I would be able to bring myself to do this. Amazing to see it though.
village association when there is grass growing in sidewalk 💀
Man, the ost in this game is not a soundtrack, its boss music for the storm
You can't do this to us sir. The people will get furious.
What people?
If you really wanted pain… you could have exploded the generator
“Piss on my grave all you want, you’re the one who tore your own house down in -100 degree weather lmao”
*Gets Executed*
Let's be honest. Sometimes the dwellers of first Frostpunk make this consequence deserving with their Disobedience and lack of faith.
almost 4 hours of gameplay for a 5 min video. i respect it
this is oddly satisfying
He did not in fact, do his best.

It was an accident yall, stop being so mad.

Citizens cannot be angry about the cold, if they are all frozen dead. ^.-.^🤏🏼
