Lol the wife is doing the ironing of the edge banding. Hilarious. I will do the same.

Great video. "Desk" is currently one of the top search terms on Amazon, so this is a relevant video.

I know this is a matter of personal taste but i love the plywood edge look, you can even leave it unpainted even if the plane face is painted. Great projeect!

How does your do with lateral movement? I made 5 of these desks (we are hosting our own co-hort on the 3 virtual days each week) and found them to be wobbly. I added 1.5" x 1.5" braces behind each leg, that butted up against the bottom of the desk to stiffen it up significantly.
I appreciate the inspiration, keep up the great content!

I built this desk. Question. How did you stabilize the legs? Mine rocks right to left really bad?

Thank you, sir. That's such a cool build. I've subbed too purely because I saw you supplied the plans without signing your viewers into a contract! :D I was looking for a stool idea for my niece because she likes to move about the house alot lol and this was just the perfect design as it's collapsible and requires simple construction which is such a good idea because it teaches her how to build things as well every time she puts it together which is a nice touch : )

Hi, unless you have started wearing nail varnish your wife did all the edge banding and cutting of the 45 degree cuts on the edge banding.

much better video than your firepit video. Less sponsorship videos of RYOBI crap and Home Douche Pot.
