Built two of these and they really are as easy as he makes it look. If you build two, then you only need 7 2x6x8' boards. These are very stable and don't tip forward or backward easily and are quite comfortable.

Can you explain why you did the extra work of putting up drywall and then the membrane instead of using kerdi board directly to the studs? I use a product called GoBoard all the time! Like your choice of power tools!

This looked like a good way to reuse some wood I have. However you 30 minutes time is way off, in part because once my wife saw me get my tools she started giving me projects. 😂

I just made this. The only trip up was with the short boards. I cut 40⁰, 40⁰, and then 40⁰. My fault. The next one will go much smoother. Thanks for putting this out there.

Beware! This stuff seems like a good deal. And it is pretty good quality for the price. But Lifeproof doesn’t provide many plank patterns. I would have GLADLY paid another $1 or even $2 sq/f to get at least 8 different patterns.. I spent 50% of the install time figuring out which board to put next because there were only FOUR different board patterns… 8 if you include the same exact pattern but opposite direction. If it doesn’t bother you that you’ll see the same exact board all over the place, then don’t worry about it. But I know lots of people that would be annoyed. I am super annoyed by it. Lesson learned. Hopefully this helps save someone else the headache.

I might try this. Thanks for using basic tools and not saying you can and then just use the fancy tools to do it. Also I would consider using construction adhesive to make it a little stronger, but also making sure I don’t use too much and have it squeeze out.

Понравилась закругленная спинка и в целом простая идея. Не понравились острые углы на подлокотниках и спинке, везде где можно коснуться телом я бы скруглял. Еще высота маловата, он сидит с прямыми ногами, а с согнутыми уже не посидишь. Если это по принципу шезлонга то нужно приделать атаманку под икры ног. Ну и все только на саморезах… я бы добавил чопиков каких что ли.
