Mike talks about his gas scam like uncle philly talks about his 20 years in the can.
Well, Michael Franzese is not as angry as Uncle Philly Leotardo. Actually, nobody is, except Rodrigo Duterte, maybe.
Im sure he sacrificed too. He most likely did the same thing in a tissue as the Shaw of Iran. Lol
@@rodbingaman6985 Well, I'm fully conscious I'm going to look like an arrogant a**hole, but I feel like I need to say it: Phil Leotardo compromised, he never used the word sacrificed. And Frank Vincent looked like the Shah of Iran, who was a ally of the USA during his time, unlike the regime that followed his downfall.
Now, you can think I'm arrogant or you can think I gave you useful information, that's up to you.
You are correct on both, good sir. And thank you for pointing out my error in spelling, even though im fully aware of who he was.
Iâd say more so how Ralph robbed Demeo for the jacket
For people who haven't seen this episode..... They didn't just kill him because a talking fish confessed to them.... Tony found the wire in Pussy's house.
Yup, in a cigar box's false bottom i believe. Yeah not just cause of the dream đ
"Get the weights..."
Michael: Boy, that takes me back. đ
LMAO... as the FBI's watching this "Ladies and gentlemen, we got him" đ€Ł

So funny! Michael's teenage memories of dead bodies going overboard in chains and weights. Good times! LoL
@@one0onelion248 now FBI would need to find a specific body in the ocean, and tie Michael being involved.
Iâm yelling at you and you donât like it âŠ
I think anyone who criticises Michael for not being as familiar with the show as theyâd like are truly missing the point. The point of these videos isnât about him being a superfan of The Sopranos, itâs about the insights from someone who actually lived that life. I hope we get more of these episode breakdowns.
Yeah plus heâs a 70 year old man, heâs spent a lot of time in prison, a lot of time doing bad business away from family. He probably wants to spend every min of his life wisely now and not waste hours binging tv shows.
@@siddhant... he's 70? Wtf
I find it hilarious myself! I'm sure he's a busy man.
Franzese doesn't seem the type to really watch many movies or tv shows anyway. We're talking about a man who has never even entertained the notion of watching an episode of the Simpsons and was visibly confused when watching a clip from it. He has more important shit to do with his time, always has.
âHe called her , Dr Melliâ lol Dr Melfie lol like MILF except melt
These Sopranos reviews are so good, I really wish there would be 86 of them!

Watch talking sopranos if you havenât. If youâre a fan of the show youâll love it
Exactly. There's so many super episodes and themes that MF could deal with. Chrissy on drugs, the feud with New York, Paulie getting kneed in the balls.
@@BostonsF1nest He doesnt know who Sylvio is, and he didnt know who GLoria was either. Clearly didnt watch the show

Michael my name is Bobby Daniels Sr. I'm a 67 yr old Disabled Veteran I love to hear your comments! I'm almost a shut in you have made my usual boring life a helluva lot more enjoyable and I thank you for what you do please keep up the good work again thank you
You have an awesome last name
My life is usually also pretty boring my friend, even though I'm lucky to not have had injuries so far, still being young, quite good looking and with a good degree. It's all dull and tedious anyways, chasing paychecks every month, not much social life any more, especially since covid struck and killed many things forever. It was not supposed to be like that. You are not missing on that much if I think about that. Most people I know are living boring lives too, although many of them fool themselves that it's actually good, they are afraid to face the facts. Anyways, good luck.
We need a sit down with Michael Imperioli! His performance in the show was absolutely mesmerizing, always thought he had some of the best performances on the show!
Not too hard to play a hothead. Yell and throw stuff.

I appreciate you addressing your forgiveness for your brother. I watched his video and felt for him. Addiction is terrible. It's the same as the life you speak of. High ups low downs and destruction and chaos in between. John has so much love. Thank you for allowing the Grace to work through you.
Please do "Pine Barrens" next Mr.Franzese.
The best Sopranos episode in my opinion.
yeah. we learned that even interior decorators can have messy apartments
Pine Barrens is overrated
@fabRic_jAck season 3 is my favorite but every episode from Employee of the Month to the finale is strong. I just think PB gets too much credit when the episodes around it are just as good if not better
Great suggestion. I would like to know if Mr Franzese has seen any paranormal encounters in his lifetime.

A great episode of The Sopranos. The dreams being Tony's subconscious telling him what he didn't want to face. That fish telling him in Pussy's voice that he's been talking to the feds and then he said to Tony: "You knew."
I think the talking fish is a reference to the euphemism "sleeps with the fishes", subconsciously he'd known pussy was an informant for a long time and hes finally acknowledging he's got to get rid of him and most abstract way possible.

Iâm rewatching this with my brother . His first time watching the sopranos and it makes me happy seeing his reaction to this amazing show. Gandolfini is absolutely legendary.
My favorite episode of television ever.
The way Tonyâs dreams foreshadowed the end of the series, and the grittiness was on another level.
My favorite part is when Tony has the fever dream about telling his family he bought a boat, then he comes to as theyâre driving to the marina while Tom Petty is playing.
I'm heartbrroken that Michael does not remember Silvio :(

Joe Pistone did that as "Donny Brasco" in real life to a D.A. who knew Joe, because the D.A. was about to make Joe in front of other mobsters. It's in his book.
How about the episode when they had to go find Paulie and Christopher in the Pine Barrens, and Tony giggled hysterically when Bobby B showed up dressed up like Elmer Fudd?
...or when Tony was going to suffocate his mom with a pillow at the home, and he threatened her-- what acting! He scared me through the TV!
World class presenting. Thank you so much Michael.
the surrealism in this episode is haunting. I think its one of the best episodes of all series. Apart from the surrealism, there is this emotion.. I can't describe it.

The Dr. Melfi replacement in Tony's dream is the lady who plays the female boss (Annalisa Zucca) in Italy that Tony has to deal with when he goes there with Paulie & Chris. You're welcome! đ
Actually it's not. It's another Italian women who was an exchange student living next door at Cusomano's crib.
@@Superpity07 no,he is right it was Annalisa in the dream; he even told Melfi that she reminded him of her after he met Annalisa earlier in Season 2.

Zucca is squash/zucchini in Italian relating back to the flowers they were eating....
One thing about the Sopranos. One of the BEST things about the writing of this show was that the dream sequences were closer to how dreams actually progress when you dream than any other writing Iâve seen on any show or film, before or after, to this very day.
I'm kinda scared to correct him when he called tony's psychiatrist Dr melli instead of Dr. Melfi so I will just say that David Chase made a mistake instead of franzese

Wow, the restaurant scene brought back memories. My parents were from Naples. My Dad used to flower and fry zucchini flowers. Wasnât one of my favorites but the old timers loved it.
The "other soldier" that Michael speaks of in this clip was Tony's consigliere Silvio Dante (played by Steven Van Zandt). And the beautiful woman who Tony dreamed he was talking to instead of Dr. Melfi was his distant cousin from Naples Annalisa (played by Sofia Milos).

Michael, you speak a lot about forgiveness. Personally, I refuse to say I forgive someone; what I do is refuse to let whatever happened take up space in my head. I give myself time to get past it and let it go. Never is it forgotten, but it doesn't occupy my daily thoughts. Some might not agree with my tactic, but it works for me.
During the first lockdown here in England I went back and rewatched every season of the Sopranos.
