there's no point in making unnecessarily impossible designs that causes the devs to struggle because if you can't deliver the product then the whole team suffers since clients don't care about who contributed the most instead they focus on what the finished product looks like

Non-tech people often don't realize that but it's a crucial part of developing anything.
