- Starting with uni and design and ending at a big design agency, my journey into UX design was a weird one, with lot's of learning, pivoting and trying new things. If I could start over, how would I approach it? Which tools would I learn and how would I approach my design portfolio?

Same😂
Is it good for doing freelance?
This was one of the most helpful videos on UX I have seen, thank you so much. Also, my mom walked in while I was watching this and said, "Who is that beautiful girl" xD
This video threw me down memory lane. I had to think about how I got started in UX. It was so long ago it was a whole different game back then but I've definitely hired people that demonstrated a sound understanding of design and knew how to do design well.
You inspired me to change my career and I've never been happier ❤️ also the cannibal screenshot made me spit my water lol
I should be focused on the subject matter but I'm captivated by your eyes. Thanks for sharing some valuable infos! ♥️
Well-informed video ✨ love your content
❤❤ Thankyou!!
So helpful! I'm currently making the switch from fashion design into UX! Hoping to transition by the end of the year :)
Want a partner?... I'm making the transition too..from a blue collar job.... we can be learning buddies
Heyy Lilyy! First thank you for this video (and well, thx for all your videos since I always learn something new from them and feel inspired)
changing career paths right now, very into your type of content! thanks Lily
gr8 insight btw, ive been thought how struggle to build any portfolio, especially you dont have exp at all.
I came for UX design but I fell in love 😂
The way you jump from sounding British to Northern American to Australian to Valley Girl American to Scottish and look like you could be from any of those places is messing with my head.
I grew up in Australia but have lived in the UK 10 years so the accent is all messed up
thanks
Question for you Lily
Which app or a software UI do you like the most or find inspirational?
Currently making a switch from medical to UX. Something that i actually have a passion for
me too!
Hi Lily! Loved the informative video- really quick, does your daily job in this career path involve much coding? Thank you🤗
Thank you for the video! I gave it a thumbs up! How did you add the white progress bar on the upper part of your video?
you're so gorgeous!!!☺
hey! plz share structured outline of main and sub topics in ux design, kindly.
amazing video, by the way, I love Figma too =D
Have you considered approaching Steam's application support with a proposal based on your portfolio piece/case study? I've noticed some major flaws in a popular app I use and am contemplating a similar action but I'm curious if this is a common practice for UX/UI designers, particularly when dealing with larger companies similar to Steam.
My God! You look like an angel from heaven ❤
Great 🔥🔥
I've been working on a career change for a year and a half now. I did some college credit hacking, and I will graduate from SNHU with a degree in graphic design and media arts in January. However, my sights are set on web development and UI/UX so I've been looking into different courses/certs. You're so accurate about getting discouraged and then having the spark back, etc. It's definitely been a rollercoaster! Thank you for this video! It was so informative and helpful!
the hardest part for me is ive never really had a career due to people leading me the wrong ways for careers im consdering ux design to help me to find my career finally
a family lineage of tattoo artists is super cool ngl
Damn, I'm not able to blink.
Thank you for creating this video. Im currently doing a certification for data visualization in Power BI. I'm curious if visualizing insights and data might be useful in this field.

Hey Cameron, Completely Unrelated but when do you advice Competitor analysis to be done? Is it before or after User research?
Interesting but my wife and I started watching because of your adorable pet Rabbit‼️
Please Make video on your portfolio
1. You're beautiful
2. I started UI/UX design 2 years ago but stopped because I had to get a new laptop which took a long time and I feel like im behind by a lot, thanks for this video a lot, already my favourite design account
here before 1M
In my country, there's only a masters program for UX Design.
What an inspiration to see your channelGreetings from Perú!
Hi, this Mathieu, Designer based in Mexico... just found out your channel, thanks for everything you've shared, I actually would like to know your opinion about my portfolio and how to balance it with my career path, do you think that's possible?
Looking extra gorgeous!
Im doing my bachelor's and I want to do higher studies in ux UI design before getting a job. Which is the best country to do masters in ux UI design??
Hi, I am 30 years old and wanted to start. Is it too late for my age? thank you '
Okay, so what games do you play 👀? (steam) lol
Yo this lady is so beautiful holy moly
I wanna be your vacuum cleaner
Breathing in your dust
I wanna be your Ford Cortina
I will never rust
If you like your coffee hot
Let me be your coffee pot
You call the shots, babe
I just wanna be yours 🦋🦋
Gosh she is os beautiful
Love your top, could you please share where did you get it? Many thanks xx
Hi, please would you recommend taking courses or CZcams a better way of learning design?
Please I’ll appreciate your response.
Hey the knowledge on CZcams is more than enough just search for it . Also man ux designers say a course is unnecessary but still if that's the way you wanna go or just wanna do the course for No fomo then ux course by google is enough for beginners. Also look that up on CZcams and save some 💸
Can anybody write down a resume of this vid? Thank you
I couldn't just click off this video without saying this - You look gorgeous
Damnn no way she is soo pretyyy😭😭❤
.
Stay strong😇
you're genuinely very beautiful
There are several very important and useful resources mentioned in the video, like lawsofux, which are the foundation; and still in the video description there are all the links to either buying courses or social media links. Would it be possible to add the actually useful links in the description in the first place, and only after that the rest of the actually not-relevant and "sell-through-content" type of links. I do like and admire Lily for her videos, but it's really bad UX to make people guess and cherrypick the names of the websites that ARE actually needed to to start the career.
Thanks for the feedback! I’ll take it into account next time

your linkdin account ?
really nice vid! there's only a problem, i got to distracted by u! you are so beautiful! much love 🫶
Ok sounds good, I'm a graphic designer who studied ux/ui design as well, in 2024 I don't know how you can land a junior job, the field is so saturated that you need instantly 3 years of VALID experience on a real app, or service as a designer. I had way more success the waay more saturated graphic design field than ux...Maybe back than creating fake apps/redesign of famous app was a thing but now your portfolio going to instantly to trash...
🫶🏼
I thought you did an English literature degree 😮
Why did you think that?
I can't concentrate. She's so pretty. What did she say?
🙄🙄🙄
Bro, I know just flip your phone and listen as an audiobook 👍🏾
😳🤔🙄🤬
Lol
Irish?
Hey, it's really amazing work 👍🏻
sorry, but you made some mistakes. I hope you fix
it because you needed now
And when you do it, it will increase your views and subscribers
exponentially. Hope you understand🥰
btw BEST OF LUCK ❤❤
