Its because most of us are not thinking our own individuall thoughts. The own, individuall thought is coming from inside our heart and goes than to the brain. Our own individuall thought is more a feeling and transform itself in the brain into a thought. We are mostly thinking what our parents told us from the beginning of our living and what our friends, our environment is telling us, and cooy these - as instead to listen to our heart what we are feeling in that moment we hear or see something....

Fantastic thoughts/lesson. Reminder me of a book by Rick Hanson called The Buddhas Brain. He’s a neuropsychologist. A particular chapter I remember is The Stick & The Snake where evolutionary negative bias is discussed & why. Superb book I bought by ‘chance’

Forgive me for saying this but the problem is not in our thinking it's in how to deal with the fact there is a problem...called life.
Good message though.
Ollie is so wise!...However, please question him on the "opportunities are all there" because I think it depends on the luck of where you were born. For example, in a poor country or a very politically challenged country it's very hard to align with opportunities that other countries enjoy.
