Damn... I needed this! Signed up for my first marathon 5months ago. Made it to mile 20 and unfortunately had an injury. However, since then, I’ve constantly been thinking about not being able to finish it.

This is so true. The hardest step for some people is to ask for help. Whether it's physical or mental help. Dealing with issues alone, by yourself, can inflict emotional and psychological scars for life - speaking from my own experience. Swallow your ego, if that's what's stopping you, and just say - "I need help". Seeking help is not a sign of weeknes. I realized that 15 years later, unfortunately. But, as the saying goes - Better later than never :)
