I focus on 5 types of videos. 1. I review trucks and SUVs from Ford, GMC, Chevrolet (Chevy), RAM (Dodge), Toyota, Nissan, and others. 2. I review accessories for both RVs as well as Pickups and trucks. 3. I review RVs, including Class A, Fifth Wheels, Travel Trailers, Class B and Class C coaches. 3. I do general "Ranting" videos where I talk about vehicles, towing, and give my general opinion on various topics. 4. Vehicle upgrade and installation videos on various accessories either I am installing or that are being installed on other vehicles. 5. Interview videos with experts in various fields related to trucks and RVs.

I am in the process of ordering some additional fittings and valves to make the system more "functional" for my use. Another short video will go over that once it's all installed and filmed. Thanks!

Now you have no reason not to do train horns! Some people think they're dumb, but when you are carrying a heavy load and a dummy cuts you off, nothing moves them out quicker than a train horn. Besides, they're a blast! 🤣
Quick question, since we talking about air. The leveling kit that you have installed not to long ago. By any chance, do that system helps with ride comfort empty? Because I heard people say that medium duty ride little ruff empty. By the way I love your vids.
Very nice setup
Nice easy simple setup
Check out the Kleinn onboard air and train horn. Clean setup and doesn’t eat up bed space.
When do we get to see the second video on the Anderson sway hitch
Have you ever stretched that coiled up hose out to actually be 30' long if it's like most like that it might be 25' long I knew w that with both you still have enough reach to get to your trailer tires but for those other people if they see it says 30' and then need it and it's not there like some have done then it's best to make sure you have enough hose to reach any tire plus about 10-12' extra feet
Yep. It's a bummer. Had to use both extensions last time.
Nice set up!
What a out adding a couple portable air tanks for volume for say, limited use air tools, nail gun, paint sprayers, etc... Would it work, or burn up the compressor?
Not enough CFMs.
Would really like to know what air horn you put in the truck, as well as where you mounted it. Considering doing the same thing on my Ram 2500, because air horns in trucks are the way things should be :)
Can you hook the system into the aux switches in the truck?
That is a nice air system.
You should add the foot pedal solenoid for air horns like we have in fire trucks. Works great someone cuts you on press the left foot down and they move plus it’s easy to install
Yeah, I thought of that and actually purchased the switch for it, but I'm likely to accidentally hit it and want to avoid scaring the crap out of others and myself.
Great video, I can see where that can come in handy with a rv and other things. Just a rv you have air for bikes, floats, tires, can see where this very helpful. Also most of your small cheap pumps will take for ever trying to get to 70 to 120 psi. Really cool set up.
Nice. Very nice. Be Safe.
Looks mint mate 👌👍
How did you mount the tank to the bed of your truck?
How do you drain the water out of the tank?
thanks awesome setup. I'm not a very tech guy but i only found the compresor on the links other parts missing
I absolutely love your channel and all the info you provide with it. I would like to ask if you could also maybe include truck bed campers. I know there are plenty of other channels that do those reviews but it’s not the same as if you were doing it. I would like to hear you thoughts and opinions on truck bed campers. Anyways you do awesome work and I appreciate everything you do for us subscribers.
It's hard to get access to bed campers in my area.
Big Truck Big RV thank you for the response. I understand about that dilemma, I just thought I would ask because I think that’s the route I would like to take so I can still tow my boat and still be able to enjoy glamping and travels
I think mounting the guage assembly higher on the rack would keep out of harm's way possibly? Coming from a guy with a bunch of stuff in the bed of course
I have something I will be using to protect the valve.
Nice equipment, but not the cleanest instal, you are usually very particular, but this looks like a rush job just to put out the video.
Enjoy seeing the gadgets you review. Keep them coming !
More to come :). Needs to be serviceable for further reasons
It looks fine....needs to be easy to work on and remove if need be , an empty a truck bed can be necessary in a moments notice, this looks easy to get out..
Why not plumb it to the water tank mounted on the other side of the bed as well? While the water tank has a cute hand pump, you now have a great air pressure source.
Very nice simple set up. I know you were being concious of space but I would have went with a 5 gallon tank instead of a 2 gallon. But whatever works. Nice video.
You should work with a company to create a prefabricated system to box in your bed along the lines of the wheel well to protect all your accessories mounted in the bed. I’d be interested in air but I’d need it protected more. Good video as usual.
Not a bad idea
So you say the compressor is set to pressurize to 200 psi. Then you have a regulator to reduce the pressure to 150 psi. Why regulate to a pressure so high? I would think that 80 psi would be sufficient for anything you might use..
My Airhorns run off 150psi. Anything below 110 psi and they sound funny
Thats cool
Need more air horn!
👍 nice!
Only critic is maybe move regulator up higher. May be more likely to get hit by something mounted low
Ogre Dad I thought the same thing, get it up higher so it’s less prone to get damaged.
I have something else going higher :)
Oh! Upcoming video topic!? 👍
Who fixes air bag self inflate system on my Class C Motorhome here in Corpus Christi?
Probably Ron Hoover
so I'm confused... is this for airbags? are you putting airbags in? please clarify
No, I have a different Viair Compressor for my Airlift system. This is for On-Board Air and Air Horns
How long are you planning on having the F450?
Not sure. Probably a while. I'm really happy with this truck. I'm going to take a close look at the 2020 Trucks from GM and RAM though.
Nice clean install. That should come in handy for a lot of things. Bud I have a question what is better Timbrens or Sumo Springs?
Both are great systems. I have experience with Timbren but have never used Sumo.
Thank you
So I look on Amazon. Is there a way to put another tank for air?
Sure. Just get another tank and have a splitter valve.
Big Truck Big RV thank you
Omg my OCD is out of control all those wires would drive me nuts.why not go arb under the hood with tank under truck.much cleaner?
Let's hear that air horn. wink wink lol
Can we hear the air horn sometime please?
Sure
Knowing absolutely NOTHING about compressors, is it wise to leave your (new) system always under pressure. I ask only because constant pressure MIGHT lead to premature failure, AND it seems the the system recovery time is quite short.
Cheers from near Georgian Bay, Ontario, Canada
So long as you are using quality equipment you should be fine. I purge my tank about once a week anyhow.
I was behind another trucker north of Dallas and he pulled on his air horn, it stuck open. It drained his air and locked up his brakes. Always good to have a plan ahead of time. He told me later he put in a new horn valve and a master valve in the event it should ever happen again.
I've heard of that happening. Thank god I only have a 2gal tank and no air brakes. My Airlift Bags run on their own compressor also.
Can you tow a gooseneck trailer effectively if you have a 4" suspension lift kit?
More than likely yes. It may require adjustment of the gooseneck height so the trailer stays level. Just keep in mind that off angle hills can destroy bed corners if you go too low.
Btw most 4inch lifts are 4 inch in the front and 1 inch or 1.5 inch in the rear. So it really depends on how the lift works with the rear suspension
He has a great video in regards to towing with lifts. One thing I think he didn't mention is flipping the trailer axles. You put the suspension above the axel and you get 2-3 inches of lift maybe on your trailer.
Have you considering putting a Hellwig Bigwig sway bar on your truck? I just put one my F350 and am getting ready to test it loaded with the truckcamper this weekend.
I had one on my F250, but the F450 has a very similar size and performing sway bar as standard equipment
Two question come to mind.
1. What alternator system are you running that with? Dual or Single any issue with the draw? Does the truck have to run?
2. I would have thought you would mount it inside the tool box out of sight. Why that location exposed? Those regulator are plastic and break easy.
Thanks for posting.
dual extra capacity alternators. I didn't mount in the tool box because of the heat these small compressors generate. It's also under my bed cover and out of the way. Finally, the regular knob is plastic (like all of them), the body is all metal.
I know this is a totally unrelated subject to your video but I've always wanted to know do they make Silastic springs for RVs more or less fifth wheels
Don't believe so.
How does this run an impact gun for something like removing a tire? How many nuts can you get off before the compressor kicks on? Is it effective?
As soon as you'd pull the trigger the compressor would start running. It wouldn't be very effective with a air tool. It would be faster doing it by hand
keshmo12 he uses a cordless impact drill/driver.
Yep, Dewalt 1/2" 20V Impact Driver
Where do you get your fittings? I have air horns with a 5 gallon tank but need fittings from tank to air regulator. Any help would be great. I am wanting on board air too.just need connections. Thank you
Amazon and South Texas Hose
Great vid as always, did you do a install vid for the air horn? Maybe i missed it.
Pretty sure he meant air bags. He must've had an air horn on his mind when filming.
He asked us if we want to see a video on horns, audio, air system and one other thing.
I'm pretty sure on board air was the most popular with air horns coming in second
Nope, Airhorns :) I have a different compressor I use for the Airlift system. This one runs my Air chuck and Air Horns.
would it be possible to do a review on a travel trailer with a bunk house that would be compatible with my 2.7 f150.
