No joke this episode saved my life. When I first watched it, I had a persistent rash on my ankle that wouldn’t go away after several months. Josh mentioning spots on your ankle being a sign of diabetes and then talking about his experience with it was the final scare I needed to make some big changes in my life. 2 1/2 years later I am down 120 pounds!

Feel like it doesn’t get said enough but big ups to the person controlling the camera switching. So much of this is perfectly timed with the conversation and even little movements you wouldn’t see otherwise.
Brooke Kiewra isn't this pre-recorded? I was always under the impression that always open filmed, edited, then thrown on the web.

The control room is pretty on point, but yes, Always Open is pre-recorded, so if they miss something, they can go back and edit in a different camera angle or what-have-you. They do still do a lot of stuff "live" (overlays, images, etc), though.

Петр Волков I think they reacted the way they did is because they wanted to seem more politically neutral and don't like to mention that sort of thing. I get what you're saying but they also have their views and I think (when they are on cam) they try to be as neutral as possible. Despite a few slips lol.

This is the first time I've been drinking with the always open cast and it was really nice to hear everyone's take on mental and physical health

I can totally relate to how Josh deals with this situation I was same when I lost my grandparents but I hope folk take this message and seek help even if it's to speak to friend and thoughts go to Josh and his family
Immediately messaged my mom, my dad and my little brother to check how they're doing, after I heard Josh's story about his dad passing away.
I guess that's one upside of it, at least we get the chance to appreciate our close ones and remind ourselves that we should stay in touch with them.
And also how important mental health actually is.
Stay strong, Josh, I appreciate your honesty and courage in bringing up the subject, which i'm sure is not easy for you.
And thank you for reminding me what's the important stuff in life.

As someone who's dealt with depression most of my life you genuinely can't really tell if someone is suicidal, most of the time they want to keep it hidden. Suicidal people develop this sort of mask to hide their feelings behind usually through mimicking behavior of those around them there are signs to look for but the person who is having those feelings has to reach out and tell someone and they genuinely have to want to be helped. Feeling suicidal has for most of my life been a taboo to me it wasn't until I came really close to actually ending my life that I realized how much people really did care for me and that I shouldn't feel guilty for suffering, my advice to anyone reading this if you're feeling suicidal just reach out to someone you're close to and open up fully to them you'd be shocked at how much they care about you. If you're someone who doesn't feel suicidal but you're afraid one of your friends or family members might be, just ask the hard questions it might just be enough to break the ice for them and for them to open up to you. There's always a chance for things to get better.
This is an absurdly good-looking group of people. :O

Time flies when you're having fun.
In comparison to the second season,it is short. there are 40 somting episodes with a midseason stop. I dont mind if they do the same for this season too.

SnarkyRogue the timer is to get people to say the first thing that comes to their head, which is usually the truth rather than a bs answer

As someone who deals with many depressive episodes it never really occurred to me how much it effects people around me. Of course visually, I'm miserable but I'm so tight lipped about it and I push people away and it never really hit me how that might affect their conscious
he is really the best hand model everytime hes on the show.

11:55 they are talking about a position that is basically the left lateral recumbent position. it is the best position to lay in for any stomach pain due to the positioning of your organs. When you lay on your side like that there is less pressure on certain areas of your GI and it also due to the shape of your stomach it can also lower the chance of vomiting.

Growing up I was the only sibling out of the four of us to have like three actual surgeries. And it’ll dawn on me, especially after my heart surgery this year, that there are people out there who have never had a surgery in their lifetime. Like I had a spinal surgery not even two years ago and that’s just my normal thing I don’t even question till I see how others have perfect eyes and spines (i also had my lenses in my eyes removed when i was in the first grade). All that at the small bean age of twenty.
When is Texas gunna be on an episode of always open!
