" *Very much so.* "
Brad Doan so lose a war until Americans come and save you?
Oh dear haha looks like our foreign friend Angel Gutierrez never learned history and especially didn't learn about the Battle Of Britain. Love the fact his comment is written in English too :)
Angel Gutierrez in all honesty though the Americans didn't decide to just join in when things looked rough for Britain, they joined in because of an attack on Pearl Harbour by the Japanese. Correct me if i'm wrong but as far as i know America had no intentions of helping until Japan forced their hand. Also saying Americans saved the Brits downplays the sacrifice that Russia made where for every 1 US solider that died around 80 Soviet soldiers did. Without Russia it's quite likely that both the US and the UK would have fallen due to the Germans having advanced technology and a strong military. Russia was 100% the deciding factor in WW2, not America.
Angel Gutierrez The British are the reason your country has industry. The reason the world has industry, actually.
@@user-xd5lx2tx5l we're also the reason their country is a country.

This makes me respect fighter pilots and astronauts even more. Imagining the force on a pilot's body during a high g high speed dogfight is insane.
F1 drivers experience more gs than astronauts though.
@@skrillah6259 not really astronauts will experience anywhere from 3-5G on launch
Fighter pilots pull more Gs than F1 drivers but F1 drivers do that for great lengths of time and they switch G direction much more quickly.
Astronauts experience lower peak G's but for sustained periods.
All fighter pilots do is bomb civilians

I never realized that some of these things were operated from the axle point in the center. Even that would trip me out.
S was just thinking that, they must have stomach’s of steel to do that all day 🤢
It's like the ultimate children's sandbox digger experience.
@abdo abdo They'll feel a force because it's impossible to be spun around like that and not experience one otherwise you wouldn't be travelling in a circle. The force they feel will just be much much smaller
@@HarryScutt Exactly right. There would be some G force close to the centre. The G force is all relative to the distance from the centre, the further away from the centre, the higher the G force, and the closer you are to the centre, the lower the G force.
Who cares about G-force?
Sitting there in the middle, watching the room go round would make me vomit like a teenage girl after downing a screwdriver drink.
Hell I got a bit sick from just watching it xD
I once talked with an F-15 pilot who said he did a 45-second centrifuge run at NINE g. In order to fly the Eagle, you have to hold 9g for 15 seconds, but this guy said he held it for 45, after which his body was completely exhausted by every measure. I can't even IMAGINE how difficult that must be.

2:41 when ur crush doesnt even know u exist
You know I have the three of them Jeremy, James, and Richard have really done some amazing thing in their lives.
The fact f1 drivers do this for almost 2 hours is incredible.
but its laterall G
Although what they do is impressive, it's not exactly comparable to this because the Gs they experience are only during cornering and not constant. Therefore providing moments of reprieve.
It's only couple seconds and the recovery is near instant without long lasting effect. It's basically no different than jumping very hard without getting tired. In fact, high jump can causes more G's than F1 car does. The real challenge becomes when those forces are applied for long time consistently, like in a fighter jet doing difficult maneuvering.
@@interpl6089Its lateral G and a lower max G number but its a constant swaping from side to side to front to rear constantly every cornet and braking for 2 hours.. its extremelly punishing
The last line sings true. Much props to the people who can do it.
I love pulling G. I have been on a plane doing 4g loop. Love it!

Low key would love to try this, sure the most experience I have with G-Force is roller coasters, but they've been a part of my life for nearly 10 years now, i don't even smile on them anymore. This would be either a thrill or a terrible idea lol.
"This would be either a thrill or a terrible idea lol."
Don't be so narrow minded.
It could be both.
I've always wanted to have a go on one of these. Probably a good thing roller coasters exists then
NI bet that when the machine starts I'd be like "DOWN DOWN DOWN DOW GET ME OUT OF HERE ITS TOO MUCH AAAAHHH"
im so sad he was fired :(

Wrong. You said "can be". He isnt Violent/ Aggressive at all. I Think you mean the wrong person sir. Plus, Every time he made a racial comment he went and apologized. +brayden harrington Considering he punched a man in the face, I don't think that's the only thing he got fired for
He did better than the trained pilot! Cheers mate! You did rather well to not pass out!
He was younger before, but returned to how he looks now in the centrifuge =O! it's magic!
normally in g's like that you not flying anymore but just along for the ride that put you in that kind of position and hope you didnt do it too much and g-lock out. there guys who can take 9 but they go thru insane training for this in these things repeatedly. big props to you Jeremy took it on hard if they put ya at 5 did better then the actual pilot! *_*

Clever the controller is sitting in the middle exactly on the axis. So feels perfectly fine

-When it's a *straight line*
For a chain-smoking 40 year old, he flew pretty good.
He didn't pass out, unlike that younger pilot. So he is actually really tough.
gotta give him credit, he didnt pass out and it was just shy of 5g, also they stopped the experiment before he even called out the down down down bit. thats worthy of a +1 i reckon
Given that generally speaking the fitter you are the lower your blood pressure is ... it might not be entirely surprising that he is able to not pass out. The other guy was almost definitely much fitter than Jezza and probably has a lower blood pressure on average as a result ... maybe why he passed out and Jeremy didn't! But most likely a number of things.
And Jeremy doesn't really need all that much blood going to his brain. He doesn't use it.
"When its a straight line" lol
"and I'm gonna clench my buttox when it gets bad "

That's what she said ...
It does help with keeping blood in the upper body though
He did really well!!!
Always wanted to try one of these
JEREMY'S FACE WAS NEVER THE SAME EVER SINCE DAT TEST :P
And probably ruined even further when he tested the Ariel Atom.
@TheTerr0rbyte Some say that the Stig has one of these at home, in which he sleeps.
Your video is lovely ❤️
pilot operating like a BOSS
How is the controller not dizzy sitting in the middle of the centrifuge?
I think the closer you are to the middle of the rotation, the less effect you get compared to further away. In the middle, it'll probably just feel like being in a train, because you're not getting pulled as much.
@@MM-vs2et Except for if I spin in my chair I will get dizzy and I'm already at the center point.
much greater force on the outside than in the center of the thing, also he´s looking at a screen that moves with him and is therefore stationary for him.
@@AdurxIsd I wonder if it has the same affect like on those marry go rounds on playgrounds when you sit exactly in the center you really don't feel the affect.
@@hhds113 Yes, you just described what it's like.
We have a thrill ride here in Denmark which goes up to 5.14 G´s i have tried that and it wasn´t very comfortable at all.
It goes up to 3g.
gurubjar Nope that is incorrect it goes up to 5.14 G´s you should check the factsheet on that ride which is called "Vertigo" before commenting ;)
Sorry, I havn't been in Denmark for a few years, They told us that it didn't go faster than 3 G's when we were there, like, a few weeks after it opened.
gurubjar Oh okay but according to the factsheet it says 5g´s which it only does if you press the turbo button.
I think the crew that steers it determin that. Because if you are some obese smoker, you are not gonna have a good time.
Jesus Jeremy you’ve got a better G tolerance than most people! Impressive!

3:06 The Jeremy of present
1:40 Jeremy of the past
It's actually pretty impressive that Jeremy didn't pass out
They didn't even give him a G-suit. That's unfortunate
I think that dude is sadistic haha. Well Jeremy certainly did feel the gravity of that situation so win-win.
3:15 the face when you dont get what you want for Christmas
@kdy2boy The outside of a spinning object is faster than the inside. Kind of like a cd or record. The point where jeremy is has to travel further but do it in the same time as the point where the controllers where sitting. Therefore more speed in a circular motion = more g force. Hope this helps :D
you want to sit in my R34GTR I'll show you g-force! lol
damn i wish i had an r34 too :/

What would be awesome is to change the seating position so that the g's fling your body backwards instead of downwards. That way you'd be able to simulate the acceleration of a formula one car or a top fuel dragster, but constantly :). Should be fun!
