THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a 2003 Honda Civic SI hatchback and the garage said it would cost $200 just to diagnose the problem, not including labor costs. This took me about 30 mins to find the spot and pull the plug and insert a paperclip into the two holes. I had the help of a friend to watch when the light went off and then came back on, so that I was able to remove and then insert the paperclip quickly. I jumped for joy when it worked! BTW, I have no experience with mechanics or cars. I just watched the video and did it! You can too if you're watching this. Good Luck.
Perfect video...very descriptive, and shows you where the fuse is ...not like the other videos that don't...thank you.
🙏
I have a Honda Pilot and the procedure works, thank you for including the written reset instruction page online, there are so many people posting the wrong info.
This is a very helpful video. Thank you for sharing it 🙏
🙏
Basically you want to jump the wires going to the airbag indicator switch .thank you for showing the located of the plug .
Thank you for this video, your directions were spot on!
Glad it was helpful!
Miguel, once the airbag light is off for good, do u plug back the connector or do I leave it unconnected?
Worked great in my 2004 lx. Thanks!
🙏
thank you. I was looking for that seat belt plug. I saw yellow in the fuse block but hesitated. Now I can go back and resett it. This site is the best
Excellent. Perfect they way you repeat and process and the important steps!! Thanks so much!!! :) :) :)
Thank you! I did it! Your videos are great. That airbag light was really annoying.
Glad you did it 😎🙏
@@Element_lifestyle Bummer... the light came back on after driving for a few miles.
@@tinaslouise most likely you will have a part to fix if the light comes back.a scanner to see what code it has will be necessary
Thanks for this!!! Hope the light stays off 👍
OH MY SWEET TATTS McGILLI-KITTY !! THANK YOU !!
After 18 years of owning this Element the day after the dealer called and said your new car has arrived ( 1 year wait) the Bubbleking light came on! It knows its days are numbered. This worked for now hopefully it doesn't come back , I took apart the drivers seat buckle before resetting the light and cleaned it, hopefully that was the trigger. Either that or I suspect it's the clock spring in the steering wheel, however it's an 05 and the horn and cruise control still work with only 70k on it so I don't know why that would be worn.
I used 2 feet of speaker/ doorbell wire so I could see the dash board and just connect the ends for in or out. Works better than a paper clip.
Thank you, mines just came on today.
Why did this come on in the first place if you don’t have an issue with srs?
Mine dont work. Turns off, pull it out then comes back on and blink once
Awesome thanks so much. 😊
What kind of deck is that?
Do you plug in the yellow plug in the fuse box?
Once light is off after all steps.
Do I leave yellow Connector unplugged from fuse box or do I plug back in?
Thank u
I plug it back, is just a holder on The fuse box to keep it in place. 👍
Espero que hables español jajaja eres el mejor amigo me ayudaste a quitar esa molesta luz you the best thanks

Good job. Thanks.
Thank you man! You really help your subscribers!!! And Element owners!! When I ask you for this? Four days ago?
🙏 glad to support my subscribers & E community 😎👍
@@Element_lifestyle long life to the channel! I hope some day can assist to a meeting near to the San Diego area.
@@uzagui 😎👍 sound good
Hifriend. I try today in my element 2008, and don't works 😢
Only stay on in the end. I did the 3 steps good.
If it doesn’t come off I’m you might have a problem that will need to be fix first, scanning the car and looking for srs codes
Maybe keep trying took me about 20 times to do the three steps and it finally works for me
Take the drivers seat buckle apart and clean it, you will see a switch inside. Use a T10 screwdriver to remove the screws. It maybe the trigger for the light. If not you need someone with a higher end code reader to check the codes. The cheap readers only do engine and exhaust codes.
Awesome worked for my 2004 Honda Pilot EXL
plug yellow connector back in after reset? or leave it out for good?
Definitely plug it back in
I have a 2003 Honda Element that is new to me. I have this light on and just changed out the seatbelt buckle and that long piece underneath the seat. I have not connected my battery back up yet and am wondering if I'll need to go through this reset process once I do, nor will it go away on it's own because I changed that part?
nice
Good video
Do you think is the same for Toyota
After doing this will the air bag work in an accident?
Do I need to disconnect the battery first?
👍👍👍👍👍
I'm assuming you plug the connector back in after. Can you do it while the engine is running or do you need to shut off the car?
yeah, you can stick it back in , it doesn't matter there is no electrical connection for it in the box , it's just a place holder.
What about the tpsm light with out changing them? Mines goes off when is cold out side and comes back on on summer time🤷🏽♂️ that light is sooo annoying!! 07 sc element
You will most likely need to replace the sensor. That problem you are having is usually cause by a weak battery inside the sensor. In Warmer temperature usually a battery will perform better and in colder temps will fail that why you having that problem, you can always buy the 4 sensor for around $130 and make your local shop install and reprogram. I will do a video about that soon 👍
I had to do the same thing on my Honda element a few years ago when I put WD-40 in the seat buckle ,it was sticking,Somehow it caused a airbag light to stay on because of that I saw another video was out there a few years ago, I also sprayed electrical contact cleaner in the seatbelt buckle to clean out the WD-40 ,and this works it is tricky it takes a lot of patience But has never come back on after that, only during a start up
@@mustangjoe8352 Hey - I did the same thing, used WD-40 on the seat buckle, light started to stay on. But your suggestion of using electrical contact cleaner worked - thanks ! (Note to others - the cleaner did not work immediately, it had to soak in a few hours before the light went off for good.)
Do you think it would be OK to remove the lightbulb from the instrument cluster for the TPS?
@@mustangjoe8352 thanks, this issue brought me to this video, and now your solution. thanks!
Something didn't work. I think u need another person to help. 1 person watches the light go off/on & flashing. Because by the time u get urself back under there once light goes off, I'm not fast enough to plug that clip back on. 😔
Does it come back ever after this process ?
If it comes back is because the element has a problem with the srs and you may need to replace some parts to fix it
Is there a way to read the codes without a scanner? My light is not going off with this
yes any foxwell honda scanner on amazon about 2-300$
Yes it should be. I do have an scanner for that but lot of Hondas were reading codes by counting flash I the light. I will make sure In My program if is posible and Might do a video👍
@@Element_lifestyle thanks would be great
After the light turns off after the two times flashing... Do you start the engine with the yellow connector unplugged? Or has to be connected before? That part is missing in the instructions.

The SRS indicator will come on for about 6 seconds, and then go off. Remove the Paper clip.

Turn the ignition switch ON (II) again. The SRS is OK if the SRS indicator comes on for 6 seconds, and then goes off.
@@Element_lifestyle I mean, after finishing the process... when do you reconnect the connector to the panel again?
