The only thing I can think of that I would want to see more than the Willow series is probably a Never Ending Story series.

I hated the NeverEnding Story sequels for making wishing into something bad. So, I’d be super hesitant about a series, but I’d love a good one.
In all fairness, Visions did quite well enough to warrant a new season. And this time with animation studios from all over the world and not just Japan. (Though I do think SW and anime was a match made in Heaven)
I seriously need a series based on the 9th jedi

That inquisitor is the six brother from the Book of Ashoka Novel. ;)
We finally got to see the comic, cinematic, animated and live action of the first 10 Inquisitors from Grand Inquisitor to 10 Brother. In addition, we still have 4-6 unnamed and secret inquisitors that we know quite a bit about, like the one Darth Maul killed on Dathomir and created his new lightsaber from the Solo Star wars story and Rebels. ;)
French scifi art is also a great match for SW. In fact, Moebius was originally hired to do story art for the ANH.
I want a Star War short made by Fortiche studio, their animation with a Star Wars setting would be amazing!

Also Jay, the reason Dookus lightsaber is curved like that is because Christopher Lee was a real life badass. It matches his style as a trained Fencer/Swordsman.

- I liked that Anakin's training in relation to Ahsoka is characterized by its rigidity
- Dooku was a student of Yoda (as he himself said in the 2nd episode) and Qui-Gon was his best friend, the trailer also showed his acquaintance with Saifo Diaz (the one who ordered the Clone army)
I don't know if I can handle the cuteness of Grogu and Babu Frik in the same scene together
I absolutely do not think Tales of the Jedi was in any way “learning from the mistakes of Visions.” They are totally separate projects with totally separate objectives. It isn’t an intentional “improvement” over past mistakes. It’s just a concept you like better.
@Davemike27 he isn't offended he's just saying the truth not once does it seem like he's upset they didn't like visions and just saying that Visions was a different project and that star wars doing another 6 short story series again isn't it anyway trying to "learn from their mistakes". It's just some people are canon dick riders and can't bare the thought of something not being canon

@Davemike27 The commenter isn't offended, and based on what Dave had to say about the creation of Tales of the Jedi at celebration, the commenter is correct about how Tales of the Jedi came about. It has nothing to do with the success or failure of Visions, and everything to do with Filoni wanting to tell new stories about characters we love.

I’m excited for the new flavor Andore is gonna bring to Star Wars. I heard this is gonna be the first adult oriented Star Wars show. I also wasn’t fully expecting the Mando teaser so I absolutely freaked. And the Tales of the Jedi trailer was stellar as well! I loved seeing how Anakin’s training helped Ahsoka survive order 66. Also did anyone else get faint Squid Game vibes from the Mando s3 music? I need that show now!

I did not know that the Willow move was getting a sequel. Omg. The original is a cult classic. It wasn't available on DVD for years; when I found it at Walmart I jumped around like a crazy person. My friend acted like she didn't know me. It's such a good movie.

You guys need to listen to Dooku: Jedi Lost! It tells the story of why Dooku made the choices he did. It's SO good, and it's a 6hr audiobook.

That's a great point about Mando3. That first season was so walk-the-earth western, and it's just broadened and broadened, and connected and re-connected. It's getting bigger for sure. So excellent.

I agree with you on the serious tone of ROGUE ONE. To me it's kind of like any movie about the Titanic; you already know the ship is sinking. There's no happy ending for the heroes. So with Andor I'm kind of hoping they keep that.

Jay? I really hope you watch Willow the movie before the show. Seeing Willow's journey and watching him become a wizard and a hero is truly the one of best of feel good fantasy movie moments you'll ever see. The whole movie is so fun!

Before I begin, just know that I Love you guys. A few notes: Yes Rogue One was a very serious, and intense Rebels movie, but the idea that there was no humor in the movie??? I present to you, K2SO, still my favorite Star Wars droid, full stop. Also, Jay hasn't watched Battlestar Gallactica? What the hell are you doing? That show was GREAT! How have you not seen it? Get on the ball, Son! By the way, Battlestar Gallactica had some humor as well. And Edward James Olmos is Stellar in that show (pun intended...) You need to watch it.

Hey I watched most of the Visions reactions. It was just one of those timing things I think. Though granted, some of those shorts were a lot better than others.

Funny you say that. I had a character in the old West End Games Star Wars RPG (decades ago now) become a full blown dark side character interrogating a guy doing that, among other organs. The interrogation ended, with the information I needed, by twisting the npc's brain 360 inside their skull. She was full on rogue from the rest of the group and escaped there after. The session ended with me handing my character sheet to the GM. She became a new antagonist and a constant thorn in the group's side.
*Sidenote, this was done with full knowledge from the GM.

Also I could be totally wrong here but did we possibly get a cameo from Sabine Wren walking behind Grogu as they exit a Kom'rk fighter in the trailer? The coloration of the armor/clothes look a lot like the coloration in the sneak peak pics of Sabine in Ahsoka.

Willow is my all time favorite movie. :) I loved Val Kilmer, he made it so great! I know this iteration will feel the loss of him. However, this had a very Willow feel to it. I cannot wait!

To be the Anime Weeb Advocate; Ahsoka wasn't well liked when she first hit the scene but over time and with good writers *coughcough*unlikeRey*coughcough*, Ahsoka became a fan favorite. If we get to spend some more time with the Visions characters, the same could very well happen. Especially Village Bride, Ninth Jedi, and Lop & Ocho.
Also it was an anthology offering something for everyone. It's been my go-to Anime sampler platter for people that aren't familiar with the variety of different anime styles.

Andor looks perfect! My most favorite part of Star Wars is when it feels like World War 2 in space. Rogue One was it, and this is it! As much as I love the original Star Wars (I've been a fan for 40 years now!) with its fantasy aspects, Rogue One is my favorite Star Wars movie bar none.
Willow: I liked the original movie enough, although it was never was one of my favorites. Looking forward to the show, I'm sure it's gonna be fun.
Tales of the Jedi: I liked Bad Batch, but I've been trying for years no to get through Clone Wars and Rebels. No dice, I always find something that I would rather watch. I don't think I'll care for this one either
