Today I'm visiting Lanzante Limited, and getting a private tour of the showroom and workshop with the owner, Dean Lanzante. Have you ever seen a workshop like this??

F1 short tail. HDK, in a sort of mossy bronze paint, charcoal grey six spoke wheels (slightly bigger diameter than standard)with a dark brown and black leather interior and gold anodised accented switchgear. Yes, I've thought about this.... a lot. I even have a rendering 🤣

The joy about Dean is he is completly unaffected by wealth and world in which he operates. Great vid as always.

Absolutely fascinating conversation! You can tell he understands these machines inside out, upside down and sideways, and has more than enough talent and genius to transform them into road-ruling beauties! I'd love to see a time-lapse video of one of these conversions!😊

@@KiddinaSweetShop I wish Lanzate would make a P1 conversion to a Natural Aspirated V12 motor, manual gearbox and remove all the electric motors and batteries. A true F1 succesor. BTW loved this collection. Looking forward for the Porsche 935 conversion, best of luck with the new headlights.

Dean is a true legend in the industry and to be able to get a glimpse behind the doors is a real pleasure. I really look forward to the video on the Tag 930! That will be truly something very special to witness. Imagine that person who has a garage with the Mclaren F1, Singer DLS and a Lanzante Tag 930 is without question the ultimate petrolhead!

I can't help but saying that this channel is criminally underrated. A super cool car enthusiast getting to check out the most legendary and rare cars, very good production in terms of filming style, etc. Very well done all around!

9:17 The red wine coloured F1 was famously owned by Rowan Atkinson (Mr Bean, if you're not familiar with the actor) until insurance became a bit too much after a couple of crashes.
Whilst I'm not 100% sure about the modifying of such hyper rare cars, you cannot deny the craftsmanship and quality that Lanzante produces... and the 930 is just awesome... I look forward to seeing the drive video!
P380 GJM was one of the most famous F1's with the largest insurance claim in history, he did not sell it because of the crash, just he became worried with the value and he could no longer enjoy driving it.

My favorite here is the Alan Mann GT40, I used to see this car being raced in the 1960’s
It's a universal rule that all good engineering is elegant. The F1 engine has always been as much exquisite jewellery as it has been a remarkable power plant. Those Tag engines are the same - the sort of thing you could display in your sitting room if you are of that mindset, almost as much gorgeous miniature as something to build into a vehicle. I've long followed the history of F1 GTR 016. I wonder if it was converted to a road going car in this workshop. A fascinating tour of a remarkable contribution to keeping these on the road as they should be.

I knew them for the Spyder P1, but I didn’t know they had Frank Stevenson come in to design the conversion. That is pure class, what respect.

Amazing, thanks for bringing this to us. Really surprised by the 930/TAGs, I would have assumed Porche would own them. Then again, they are branded TAG, who are, still, I think, part owners of McLaren. PS loving the 70's jeans ☺
