I'm a plant person and appreciate reptiles. I have around 100 plants and Arizona, USA native reptiles that appreciate the patio plants to hide and hunt in. Spidermites love hot and dry climates and are the bane of my existence. I've never tried predatory mites.
Reptiles are freaking awesome I totally recommend getting into the hobby. You can create whole ecosystems with plants and micro fauna and of course the reptiles!
They are the worst! Typically I recommend a chemical treatment, wait several days and then apply mites
Name your turtles Banion and Sequoia.

@MikeTytula what kind of predatory mites should i try in my bedroom/ plant room? I've found it's pointless to treat the outdoor plants. It's over 90°F for 8-9 months of the year with 10-30% humidity.
The histrionica tank is so awesome it actually gives me "enclosure envy". Background, plants, size, everything is awesome. That's the exhibit you want to have in your living room to show your guests (while they pick the fruit flies out of their wine glass lol)

I enjoy seeing the animals, but when people put in this kind of effort, the environment they are in, the enrichment they enjoy, is great to see as well.
That is the goal for all our animals! We still have a ways to go, but we are getting there!

I didn't know that you had a hermans tortoise.When I first started watching your videos it was mostly for the dart frogs.Its cool to see all of your animals and the nice terrariums that you keep them in.

You mentioned some baby hognose that haven't eaten since hatching, how long would that be? I have about half clutch of hogs that won't eat under any circumstances and its been 2+ months since hatching and I'm getting worried..
We let them go about 2 months and monitor their weight, then as a last resort, Bree force feeds a pink head. Typically after a couple times that gets them going. We scent with all we can until going to the last resort.

Typically once a month, spot cleaning when necessary
