Yup. The way things are shaping up, if Martins makes it to Ohio (and he will, let's be honest) this might be the first time we'll have three guys on the same level with the same chance of winning (Mateusz, Thor & Martins).
And before you get offended on behalf of your favourite, I thought very carefully about this taking into consideration the events, the competitors & their circumstances.
All three have more or less exactly the same chance of winning it. It's going to be the greatest Arnold battle ever.
@@fabiank485 Indeed. I wish they would just switch to a strict one... The elephant bar took down way too many dealift beasts. I never used it myself, bu from everything I figure, it's way too dangerous at huge weights. So I don't think it's worth the risk...

Hafthor bjornsson your Channel has come a long way. I don't know if I can afford any of your swag or merch this year but that's all I want for Christmas is hafthor but I don't have a job right now and I'm on disability so I don't think I will be able to get it this year hopefully things will turn around for me. While I'm in the hospital though I love watching your videos keep up the great work and I know you will take world's this year. I believe in you as much as I love Brian Shaw he is looking like he has slowed down a lot I love you guys both but you look like you're in way better shape.

it's a competition for reps on the lighter weight, with a "guaranteed win" for a world record lift, or at least beating all the non-world record lifts, seems pretty fair to me. Nobody is forced to try the world record

Hello Thor, you could use tungsten for the dumbbell. Tungsten is an really dense element. more than 2 times as dense as iron or steel

Tungsten is pretty expensive though, and I think it is pretty hard to machine compared to steel, so that probably even raises cost once more. He probably can afford it though.
Tungsten is very hard and dense, but it is brittle if you drop it, it will shatter
