The implication that Tim watched a man dressed as a clown crawl out of the ground, offered him money for a burger, and then saw this man at some point in the future and said “yeah I think I’d like to have him as my employer” says so much about him as a character LMFAO

I wanna say that Tim was a lil younger when he met Steve but idk I thought he had a longer goatee in the first season.
He didn't actually see him crawl out of the ground, he just saw a man dressed as a clown laying on the ground.
I love Cesare constantly peaking his mic. He better never upgrade his mic or we'll lose a vital part of his character.

They all have shitty mics, it's incredible and wonderful. Conrad doesn't have a pop filter AT ALL. And I loved in Season 1 when that dude showed up who was ALL echo.
Chris's charm is still sounding amazing with a horrible mic.

I love this new lore with Tim at the end being the literal FIRST PERSON Steve ever interacts with !! And that its such a positive and sweet interaction, i love Tim

I allways thought Tim was supposed to be some kind of "straight man" to Steve's craziness but this season really made me consider how weird he is in a subtle way
I guess you at minimum need a _somewhat_ odd person to counter-act the *sheer insanity* of our favorite Clown theatre drop-out?
He is weird by not noticing the stuff or reacting to it as if nothing wild is going on XD
I dunno man, the way he kept fangirling over Cesare's gifts struck me as a traitor.
I honestly think that Billie is the straight man. In season 1, she was the only one to point out that a "brunch rush" very much isn't a thing.
I like how he pays his employees thousands of dollars an hour but feels the need to mention that the kettle bells are $600 each. That's gotta be nothing to him.
I kinda like the idea that he's thinking in whatever underworld money is and has thus been paying out random wads of cash to his employees because he doesn't actually know what a U.S. dollar is worth and can't be assed to care. As far as he's concerned this is monopoly money
I’d like to be a smarty pants and inform that weights cost by the pound 3 x 6 = 18 + 00 means Steve was carrying 1,800 pounds. Unless I’m out nerded I will claim this is fact

The outtake of Penny describing what was in the foodtruck makes it read like it was Lindsay's choice what she saw, which makes the final decision being "guitars" so much more hilarious

it's really funny because he literally is as harmless as could be, but i guess upper management would consider him some kind of menace because he's been sleeping beneath the earth for millions of years and one day crawled up and started selling burgers

It could be a case of them taking preventive measures. Clowns on earth can literaly bend reality it seems, one of them going rouge on earth could be catasthrophic.
@@moonstone4832 i'd ask how anyone in upper management knows about clown planet and its people, but the painting at 18:00 implies that the clown people will visit the burger crews and likely have been to earth before or have been part of the larger intergalactic/supernatural community for some time and have been considered to be dangerous. their devotion to the arts and the level of detail they put into their work on clown planet gives me the impression that they are very calculated in their crafts, so maybe they knew that they banished Steve to Earth as opposed to the Earth just being where he so happened to have landed. idk though, i'm just speculating with what we've been shown

I love the idea that Steve ate that burger and it was the most transformative moment of his life. He ate it and knew that a food truck serving burgers was his calling.
After Millenia of being alone and hungry -and only eating rocks-
Not to undercut that moment, but I think getting ejected from the most important performance in Clown History might be slightly more formative.
And I do mean slightly, like the burger was a big deal still.

The after credit scene is oddly wholesome. It all comes together.
So that certainly explains the way Tim is about Steve and his shenanigans throughout the series: perpetually weirded out but still supportive. From his perspective, the latter is just some strange homeless guy (possibly with some kinda dementia or amnesia, as he looked very confused about a lot of things) who got attached to him and became rather fixated enough on the burgers to start working together.
@@Levyafanto add a little to this, rewatching both this season and the first season, Tim acts very similarly to a special needs worker (the people who work with mentally ill children and adults) so your observation sounds pretty accurate
It reminds me of those animated bits at the end of older pixar movies, like monsters inc, where they pretend to be the actual actors

Im suprised their isnt more people talking about the " friends in low places (reprise) " Because i love how hauntingly beautiful it is with the mariba and how it paints Cesare in a new light as this pained and tired individual that is saddened by his insignificance and that he will one day be forgotten

Agreed!!! It is such an amazing song. It went straight onto my Post-punk Gothic playlist. The vocals convey so much emotion with the dynamic changes in tone, from a Thom Yorker (Radiohead) fragility in the beginning, to the angry pained screams by the end, it's so masterfully done.

My head cannon is that when Caesar is screaming at you outdoors in real life he still sounds like he's in an echoing room.

i would like to add that i love how Worthikids actually made their OWN subtitles..really adds to the flavor and dedication to the show in my opinion
TRUE I feel like adding all caps and various internet tone things makes the subtitles feel so expressive! There's probably reasons that other people can't use that kind of internet grammar on their captions but I feel like its perfect for bigtop burger

Had to watch a second time because of this!
Someone may think that Cesare being “the albatross across your clavicle” is simply some random mixture of words, but it is in fact a direct reference to Samuel Taylor Cooleridge’s The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.
The mariner in the poem is punished for shooting an albatross by his crew mates by being forced to wear it across his neck. Your clavicles are at the base of your neck, and a bird with such a long wingspan would surely rest over your clavicles were you draped in it. Cesare is out to catch Steve and punish him for something, and thus when he catches him, by draping him with heavy weights no less, he becomes the “albatross” across Steve’s “clavicle”.

“Albatross around your neck” is also an idiom in English that…I thought was commonly known, but I guess it’s old-fashioned.
don't forget that the reason for being punished is that the albatross would have led the ship to land, so killing it meant they all would die lost at sea.

Just like Classic Pixar!!! :D I loved those fully animated outtake sequences that played during the end credits of the DVD versions of those movies! I think it's an intentional reference to one of Worthikids' creative inspirations but I cannot be sure 🤔

Never realized how big of a guy Conrad was until seeing that artwork at 17:57, he is just so massive. Also I do hope to see more of him in the future he is my favorite character so far in BigTop Burger.
I love Tim showing him kindness as soon as he comes out of the ground. I’d like to think all three of them did in some way and then he found them all and made his team.
My absolute favourite thing ever is when seemingly silly and innocuous shows get more lore as they go on. Steve's whole plot in the final episode was so good!!! Loved this season!
the best part is that his backstory has been hinted the whole time in the season 1 theme Up. This was very intentional.
Steve's backstory is a Ice King-level twist.

Have you seen Fleming's channel? I don't think the whole "how extra" convo would even be necessary. He would've just seen a mic lying around, heck, a tp roll, and not asked, he'd EXTRA himself so hard his monologues can't even fit in the final cut, and we can only see glimpses of it by the after credit.
TLDR: Someone who says "albatross across your clavicle" ain't need no direction to be extra.

The original is actually a different subject entirely, and as stated previously it's only distorted in mono (a lot of people noticing the issue were using the feature on their phone that flattens all the audio into one channel, for example to use a single earbud)
Cesare's chaotic energy never fails to amuse or disappoint. His lines are by far the best in the entire series.
He's voiced by Chris Fleming who does standup and has a very funny CZcams series called Gale

He also put out a casting call for voice actors a while after UP came out, so it’s safe to say that season 3 is in the works.
The story is wrapped up. Undead and Clowns at war and this is just one of their stories. ...unless Steve really is the chosen one.

The burger expo being named FTX is the unintentional funniest joke in the series due to context entirely outside of the creators' control.

Even the stuff that’s off script is so clearly in character that if I hadn’t seen it before I wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference. Props to Worthi for writing Cesare just for Chris and props to Chris for fucking killing it.
The blooper where Doctor is corrected on pronouncing Cesare, makes me want to ask: Do you have the actors all together in a call when they record? Like not just one-on-one with yourself and each of them individually, but in a group recording session?
I feel like some lines are improv, so them being together to make those lines/jokes seems to line up well.
I'm pretty sure for a lot of parts after the script was mostly made, they hoped on zoom calls and practiced their lines together. (My source is "BIGTOP BURGER: Behind The Makeup" by DaftPina, It's a really good watch and goes into depth of the behind the scenes)

Figured I'd comment on the most recent video. This has to be some of the best content I've ever found on youtube. The concept is just so creative and everything in your style is just the right combo of cozy and mysterious.
I do adore how Chris Flemming was apparently allowed to almost entirely adlib his lines.
really appreciate the cutting out of Tom Willett's scenes and replacing them with new dialogue and new scenes. that's genuinely nice.

Can't really explain what's up with this series and why it resonates so hard, but it's definitely not 'one single thing'.
There's an infinite amount of soul embedded into it, it's hilarious, relatable, weird in a VERY good way, jokes hit hard, silly things hit just right, the pace, the tunes, the music...
Can't wait for more already.
This show has the most intense Adult Swim vibes and I am absolutely here for it.

If your goal was to make art that uses current media in a fresh way, or inspire people to do the same, or just have fun making original content, I'll just say you've done all three and so much more. This is legitimately my favorite series. I like it more than any "official" TV shows. All of the characters are so well-written, and the animation is insanely satisfying. Also, I'm crying laughing by the end of every episode.
Easily my favorite little series here on this platform, the animation style's charm, the quality voice acting and the whimsical atmosphere of these burger adventures is just a joy for the eyes ^.^

Hmm… a small detail I just recognized in the animation. “We need two… we need three spots.” Cesare uses the European 3 with his fingers, forefinger, middle finger, and thumb. Fits his backstory as a Venetian.

I love this show so much I rewatch it so often. I really love how when you make the seasons you put extra clips in. I don't know how long it will take for this show to conclude to your satisfaction. And I don't care how long it will take I will always watch the show.
I think it's so funny how Tim was the first human Steve met and he still gets his name wrong.
Dude I absolutely love how Cesare is at 11:03. His voice acting is supremely superb and I enjoy the essence and emotion he captures with the line “Felix navidad my good friend”🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
