    Awesome! This was great i just moved into an apartment that had these and was fighting a neighbor on settings as we were on the same channel. I only really needed to reprogram the remote but seeing the whole install was helpful. Also I did not know you could dim it, that's sick

    I figured it out. I saw the switch on the motor on your video at around 5:00 minute mark. It’s under the lower metal skirt. Just have to lift that up and switch it while fan is off. All fixed! Thanks!

    Brian, so crazy, I have these ceiling fans too and was searching for a video for how to reverse the direction of the fan and came across your video totally by accident. Small world.

    Does anyone know what to do if your kid opens the remote and changes the numbers in the back of the remote and now your fan and remote aren’t synced? Is there an easier way to get the numbers in fan without taking it down?

    Very thorough and informative video! Im not sure if i missed any info, but how does the 4 numbers inside yhe remote affect the fan? It used to go on high in one room now it stays stuck on medium, how can i adjust please

    I saw your globe light broke. I installed this fan everything went well woke up in morning and saw light cover sitting in table below fan intact. Thought wife had messed with it she said no. Put it back on and 5 hours later as we were sitting watching tv cover fell and shattered. I installed exactly how they said align arrows turn clockwise. I’m really hoping this isn’t an issue because it was like pulling teeth to get new cover. Which I haven’t received yet.

    Hi, did you get a replacemen for your globe light?
    If yes, can you please tell me where to get?
    It happened to me, too. Thanks 😅

    Can it be wired so one switch controls the fan another switch controls the light?

    Does this fan reverse for winter? I can’t find any info about that. Want to pull the cool air up and push the hot air down the side walls.

      Welcome to the channel. The reverse switch is located inside the upper fan shroud that is covers the motor and mounting. I went over it in the video. Best,

      Yeah I just found it. There's a shroud or cover on the pole that slides up & you just have to feel around until you feel the switch.

    I have multiple fans and when you turn on one remote it turns on two fans. Looked it up and it had to do with the frequencies. Anyone know where the receiver is for the remote? Can’t seem to find it

    • @toon5town
      @toon5town Před 5 měsíci

      remote frequency switches: in back of the remote behind battery cover. (four white switches labeled 1-4)
      ceiling fan switches: on receiver/module. receiver is the box under fan shroud touching ceiling
      make sure frequencies match remote to fan

    I recently installed the exact same fan. It turns on and the speed settings work, but I can't feel any air moving in the room. The fan is properly sized for the space, yet I suspect the issue might be with the downrod not being long enough. I haven't seen similar concerns in the comments here. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

    My remote stopped working for some reason. The fan is stuck on medium and I do not have a light switch in the bedroom, only the remote. Is there a way to reset the remote and or fan?

      Try replacing the battery, and make sure the programming dip switches was not altered.

    I have a problem, my mom and I have the same ceiling fans in our rooms, but when I use the remote control, I can operate both fans at the same time, let me explain to you, if I use the remote control to turn on the light in my room , it turns off in my mother's room, in the same way if I want to turn on the fan at any of the speeds, it turns off in my mother's room. I just want to know if anyone else has that problem, and could you also provide me with a solution. I would greatly appreciate your help.

      Change your dip switch settings on the remote and on the receiver. They have to match the same number on both ends

    • @4x2WagonFamily
      @4x2WagonFamily  Před 11 dny

      There are two dip switch settings one on the fan motor and the other on the remote control, and both must be on the same frequency. Best
