this woman gives off like an energetic bob ross vibe. Ive been wanting to get back into wood working. i havent done it since high school. I love the content of your videos!
Did you get back into woodworking?
After countless woodworking videos, I stumbled onto this video and it is the first one that my wife also enjoyed. After watching she even expressed interest in learning woodworking (wow!) and setting up a shop. THANK YOU.
The boxes are both beautiful! Great technique, design and engaging video.
That’s awesome to hear! Hope she gets into it! It’s so fun.
Does that mean she’s giving you a green light to build yourself a shop? ;) haha
Matt Fairfield Yes, but it’s a trap to get us to buy a larger house.
Adam Kaplan hahaha ohhhh, well maybe the garage you have now isn’t so bad after all... 😂
Gotta rush home and show my wife this video!
I love seeing you smile when something starts to be beautiful
Before i watch this (informative, I'm sure) video, i must say that your scrap bin is nicer than my scrap bin!
That little inlay detail in the lid is totally professional 😍
Great job!
Thanks so much!
My battle with esophagus cancer was put in perspective each time I walked the halls of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. These brave warriors battle this terrible disease every minute with courage unmatched. Tears shed for our fallen warriors. God bless our caregivers and warriors. Thank you for your support. ❤️ Keep the faith and kick cancers ass.
just incase you wanted to know, i work at a cabinet/drawer shop and have learned light years more from you, than i have in 6 months at work. thats for impowering the masses. its appreciated.
Beautiful work - loved the inlay look after your “design opportunity”. There are so many tips and tricks in this vid! Saved for future reference.

This has to be the most beautiful box that i've ever seen
Awesome work! :D

Tamar; great project and cause! You’re so talented! I see you have a little photo bomber in the making, how fun! Thanks for the smile 😊
Thanks so much!! She so funny. 😂
Thank you for not hiding your mistakes. I learn so much from seeing and hearing you problem solving. You're a great teacher.
Awesome to hear ☺️
The best thing I like about your videos is that you show where you can improve or where you made a mistake just like the rest of us would.
19:10 "It looks like really professional looking".
I've been thinking that for every single video you've done. Cheers, keep up the tremendous work!
Hahah! Thanks so much! I surprise myself sometimes 😂
I followed your link to BOC. Who's cutting onions in here? Something's in my eye. My allergies are kicking up.
Seriously, thank you for sharing this.
Yeah. Now you see why I couldn’t say no.
I followed the same link, no chopped onions but, all of a sudden it got very dusty in here, Love the look of those boxes too. Subbed.
I have been watching you from the beginning and WOW have you picked up wood working!! Your talent has hit light speed with precision! Thanks for sharing your time and talent!
Thanks so much! I really appreciate that!
I cant help but look at all the older videos. I have no wood working ability but your videos are so fun!!!
Glad you like them!
Wow - So clever and so beautiful.
Thanks so much!
Parafinn Lamp ditto!
OMG instant subscribe. This was mesmerising to watch. I love the pace of this video, and your editing.
So awesome to hear. Thanks!
Yea same, love these boxes
Absolutely gorgeous boxes and made for a great cause. I was so mesmerized with how these turned out. Love that inlay you did. Such great contrast. Loving all those wood colors. Especially when the oil brought them to life. Wow!!! You amaze me with each video you share. Thanks again as always for sharing your knowledge and keep up the great work. I love your editing skills. Wish everyone on CZcams understood when to speed up the video and explaining things to the point and not carrying on and on. I can watch your videos over and over and over again. It would take me years to get around to attempting something like this, but I want to one day. You are such a blessing. Thank you.
Really so awesome to hear! Appreciate the feedback! Thanks!!
The hidden spline blew my mind-such skill and creativity. Thank you.
Thanks! That was fun to figure out
I've enjoyed watching your skills grow through your videos and this has been my favourite one so far. Don't be so hard on the first box, they are both beautiful. Keep up the good work and I look forward to the next one!
Thanks so much! This was one of my favorite projects too. I’m happy I was hard on myself for the first one bc now I know how to make them better for the future 😉
I need to get i to making jigs. Great job!!
Thanks! I love jigs. Ha
Love the genuine joy and happiness you express and such beautiful pieces - the clunk as the lid goes on the box is a total winner - and I love the speedy style of delivery - getting your thought processes as you work through is really insightful and inspirational - I guess that the offcuts being stored for some time there'll be little differential change in size of the pieces over time - my favourite series of how-to so far!!! Thanks!
So glad you like it. Thanks!
- Absolutely beautiful pieces. Great techniques.
Thanks so much! These were so fun to build
My head is spinning! A lot of detail that all came out great. Both boxes are awesome. Great cause. You are special. Thanks Tamar.
Thanks so much! Yeah. It was a lot of info to fit in...
Tamar! The quality of your work is extraordinary!!! I appreciate your videos!! thanks!!
This made me really appreciate the craftsmanship behind these boxes. I came here hoping to learn to make a patterned box and have now realized my skills pale in comparison! Absolutely beautiful work.
Haha! Don’t say that. Give it a go! Thanks!
Tamar you are a great joy to watch, listen to and learn from. My wife is interested in learning woodworking. We are going to have fun learning together from you! Thank you so much for sharing the wonderful gifts God has given you with us all!
That’s so awesome!
those boxes are beautiful!! amazing what you can make with scraps when creativity meets know-how. KUDOS!
Thanks so much! It was a really fun experiment.
I’m in complete and total awe, beautiful work.

Those boxes are amazing and so are you! Great techniques and crafty approaches to them. Well done!!
Thanks so much! I had so much fun experimenting with these
Those came out great Tamar! And I agree that the little boarder detail on the top takes it up a notch! Nice to see other makers are caught up in the pattern making bug...
Thanks so much Michael! It’s so much for to just experiment with this stuff. It totally want to try plywood like you. Those projects look killer
Beautiful! I like the sense of style and "matching it up" that you bring to these projects!
Thanks so much! These were fun to make
love your humility and honesty about mistakes, It gives others comfort going into new projects. I really envy you having a full garage to work in. I enjoy watching you work you are good at what you do. when i get to retire about 6 months from now i am going to try some of your projects.
Awesome! Hope you enjoy your retirement!
Beads of Courage is a fantastic program, thank you so much for supporting them. It was quite a comfort for me to track the beads while my baby was getting treatment. And because he was a baby, he did not care but they also have a sibling portion that big brother loves. Thank you again and can’t wait to try my hand at this ❤️
☺️
Thanks for helping those who are most in need.
The kids enjoyed being involved in this project ☺️
Beautiful boxes! You are SO creative. It has been so much fun watching you evolve as a woodworker. I love the way you just 'figure things out' intuitively. I am truly envious of your innovative and creative methods in not only your designs but also with your mechanics and jigs you develop to achieve your design goals. Please keep sharing your wonderful projects.
Thanks so much! I really appreciate that. It’s so much fun to figure all this out
Very nice project. Beautiful work.
Thanks so much!
Fantastic! The best woodworking video I've seen in a long time. You showed so many useful techniques that I want to learn. Thanks.
So glad to hear. Thanks!
Just stumbled across your channel and I can’t stop watching. You have such great ideas and I can’t wait to try them for myself. Thank you for the way you explain everything so clearly, can’t wait to make people smile with great gifts I learned from your videos!
So glad you like them!
I'm blown away by your approach to woodworking.
Thanks ☺️
Keepsake boxes and jigs for helping make them is my hobby and passion. Your videos are just what I need! Thanks Tamar!
That’s awesome to hear!
These boxes turned out great - fantastic job!
Thanks so much! These were so fun
Thanks. You're not alone in hoarding scrap wood. I like the way you used the wood.
I've turned several bowls for Beads of Courage.
Glad to know I’m not alone. Ha. I would love to try turning patterns like this. Hope to get a lathe one day
You can play around with plywood patterns. Really great videos from Michael Alm could inspire. Love the boxes!
congratulations for the fantastic workmanship
Thanks!!
I really like how humane these videos are. I mean, here you could see a woodworker as a living human being with some doubts and inevitable mistakes, not a flawless woodworking machine. I think it's really great! Thank you very much, Tamar!
So glad you like it! thanks!
Tamar, your creativity never fails to amaze me and your woodworking skills seem to improve exponentially from video to video. Can’t wait to see what’s next !
Thanks so much! I love learning all this stuff!
Fantastic craftsmanship, and one of the best narrated/explained projects!
So glad you liked it. Thanks!
Hi Tamar, great boxes for a great charity. I loved the chevron pattern and the different species of wood are stunning. From off cuts and scraps to beautiful boxes. Your enthusiasm really comes across in your video's. Thanks for sharing
So glad you like them. Thanks!
Very nice looking boxes.
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much!
The boxes are absolutely beautiful......just as your heart is for making them for such a worthy cause! I always learn something from your videos and your narration is great as well. Keep up the great work and best wishes to you!!!
Thanks so much! After watching the video I just couldn’t say no... that’s so much for the feedback on the narration I struggle with it! Ha
Not every carpenter has this vision. I congratulate you again. You are great.
So glad you like it. Thanks! ☺️🤘
Seeing you creating these boxes is very inspiring and the results are amazing. Thanks!
Thanks so much! These were fun to make!
beautiful work, and I LOVE the family involvement
Thanks so much! They had fun
Wow! Nicely done. So much to think about when laying everything out. You did a great job Tamar!
Thanks so much! You think boxes are simple but there’s a lot of work that goes into them!
That inlay on the top came out great. Brilliant use of the trim router.
Lovely project, beautifully executed as usual. You really do give inspiration to this tired old dog, I'm going to be mumping scraps from everyone!
Ha! Thanks! Have fun! Hope you’re successful! 😂
I love the speed of the narration on your videos. I watch every other video on CZcams at 2x, but with yours 1x is just fine. Great job.
That’s so awesome to hear. Sometimes I’m concerned that it’s too fast. Awesome.
3x3Custom - Tamar Way too fast for me, sorry.
How i am being recommended this video i dont know but i love it. I came from a family of carpenter and never bored to see such beautiful work and explanations. Is everyone really blind to see how beautiful is the carpenter apart from the work? I really love seeing you working untiring and talking without boring. First time viewer here and subbed you.
Glad you liked it!
WOW, beautiful outcome
Thanks so much! These were fun
You are a talented lady , and I agree , the inlay adds a touch of class to the box .
Thanks so much! My favorite feature on that box

Thanks! Glad you liked it
You are, frankly, a woodworking baller. Those boxes are just lovely.
Thanks so much!
Holy scrap! What beautiful boxes for a great cause. Those beads are truly inspiring, a great way to show the many struggles these children have faced. And put the "weight" of it into perspective. Thanks for bringing this to our attention
Thanks so much! I couldn’t not make a box after watching the video. A lot of the boxes that are sent in are turned boxes. Would love to try these patterns on a lathe. One day when I get a lathe....
@@3x3CustomTamar I noticed that on their website, and promptly signed up for the newsletter they have. Hopefully I can make some boxes later this year/ early next year. Lathes are awesome! Alot of "quick win" projects you can do on them, which is nice.
Perfect boxes, love the way you made these.
Thanks so much!
Very beautiful. Really good work. Love it.
Thanks so much!
Wow, turned out really beautiful.
Thanks so much!
Tamar, beautiful boxes by a beautiful lady. thanks for undertaking the Beads of courage boxes. yes the children will enjoy those tremendously, and I’m impressed with your patterns that you created from your scraps.
Thanks. Glad to be a part of it
God, I LOVE that pattern. It really pops! Love that you used your scrap pile. Definitely going to be exploring this with my own scrap pile.
Thanks so much! It’s so satisfying to make us if stuff that was just lying around. Good luck!
Beautiful work

Awesome to hear! Thanks!
It's crazy how much work is concentrated in two boxes.
Yup.
Great looking boxes and for such a great cause. Love your work and your enthusiasm. 👍👍👍
Thanks so much! ☺️
What a great great use (and validation) of scrap wood. It's for a great cause, great colors, great creativity and you make the BEST use of your jigs. I'm interested in how you store all these, but I'm really impressed how you show their practical use. Thanks for the video.
Thanks so much! These were so fun to make. I have shelves under all my workbenches and those house all the jigs ☺️
Oh my! Just incredible. So much great work. And awesome to see different techniques.
Impressive!
Thanks so much! This was a really fun experiment.
Beautiful little boxes, Love them.
Thanks!
@@3x3CustomTamar would love to see you take on a project that includes aluminum and walnut, like a cool CNC deal.
Good looking boxes. Nice joinery.
