@@3x3CustomTamar what router table do you have? I know igs a jessem but which model and are you happy with it? Thanks
Michael Sevigny it’s not Jessem. It’s from MLCS woodworking
I've had the chance to use this table a couple of times now. It's fun to whip out in front of people:) I can see what people are talking about when they say the legs are delicate, but they're design to support a "mostly" vertical load, not be torqued from the side or pushed back into place. If you just let the table open or close on it's own and don't force anything, it works great czcams.com/users/postUgkxyFZUPFEey-PuqsPMxqaykBhgA1LWxFHh Once it's set up, it's pretty solid. My only gripe would probably be related to the clamps provided. They're not the highest quality. They do the job, so no big deal, but they could be better. All in all, pretty cool gadget.
As a hobbyist and avid consumer of wood working content on CZcams I have to say you produce some of the best and most relatable content out there! I don't comment often, but wanted you to know that I really enjoy your videos and I always learn something from them. I am grateful to you and others like you that have taught me much and exponentially increased my own enjoyment of the craft.
That’s so awesome to hear! Thanks so much!
Thank you for not editing out mistakes. Gives me a teaching moment with my daughter who I watch a lot of your videos with. She gets to see someone who knows what their doing still make a mistake. And Deal with it. Adapt & adjust things to keep moving forward with the project. 😀
That’s so awesome to hear. We all make mistakes. It’s all in how you deal with them!
good.
Heck, it’s a good teaching moment for me! I’m not great at rolling with it but I am inspired by seeing you push through and getting good results.
@@3x3CustomTamar I also found it refreshing to see you leave in a mistake I certainly have made many times. If only my finished products came out nearly as clean and refined as this gorgeous piece!
Thank you for showing us in detail how you did this! Personally, I most appreciate when folks do talk about what went wrong (especially handling power tools) and how to avoid it and fix things up (short rods). There’s too many guys out there thinking “nah, can’t happen to me” - and eventually, they loose a finger...
Glad you like it
God its beautiful... And everything is so throughly planned...
Really, really great job!
Thanks so much! A lot of thought goes into all the steps I’m going to take. Hard work but I like it! Ha
Beautiful job...!!! As always..👏👏👏
Love from Greece ♥️
Yasoo!
I second the comments about leaving in the mistakes - I’ve also noticed you not only point out mistakes in your videos, but explained what was wrong and how you’d do it differently. I really appreciate that.
I just have to say, you have been killing it, excellent craftsmanship and explaining wood working in a way that’s understandable, WAY TO GO! I hope you keep it up and don’t be afraid to slow and realize how far you’ve made it… great job n thanks
What a great build... love the design and the brass accents.
I think we've all had projects that turned out a little shorter than we originally planned for exactly the same reason !!
Love your content and thank you.
Haha! Glad I’m not the only one. Thanks so much! I’m loving the brass
Or projects that turn into "Rustic" look...
This is definitely one of my favorite builds ever from a CZcams channel.
Wow. That’s so awesome to hear. Lot of hard work went into this. So it really means a lot!
@@3x3CustomTamar Definitely building something similar, this could make a great entry table design as well.
Jeffrey Bergstedt for sure! I’d love to see it when it’s done!
Miki Bolvary I don’t expect too much moisture on the outside of this... but that could be cool too.
Great design and technique! The big roundover really transformed the piece. Well done!
Thanks! It’s really crazy how much it transformed it. Love the rounded look these days
Tout simplement MAGNIFIQUE encore bravo pour vos réalisations 👌
This is pretty cool. I would add vent holes to the back of the storage compartment. This only occurred to me when you said you would use it for winter stuff. Great Job!
That’s probably a good idea. Ha. Thanks!
Gracias y felicitaciones!!!
I love that you include the sketchy moments and mistakes at the end. It reminds me that when I get annoyed or stuff goes wrong that it's just part of the process and totally fine. Thanks!
Wow. Absolutely gorgeous bench. Great functionality.
Woman! Mind blowing work! It’s like “How the hell does she think of that” you have the brain for coming up with solutions that work fantastic! Amazing work, love the details in how you accomplished this and that and you always include previous builds of templates, jigs, etc. for us to view 🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽
FYI: I think what adore the most about you is the fact you don’t allow fear to rule whether you accomplish a particular “Scary” task or not ;)
Thanks so much! Regarding your last comment. I tend to procrastinate when I know there is a scary task up ahead. And then I yell at myself. “Just do it!” Ha.
Love to see a young lady doing all this woodwork - all I can make with wood at the moment is..... sawdust lol.
6 minutes in we see the state of your fence in the background, hope that's one of your future projects : )
Hahah! It’s on the list! But it always gets pushed off....
Amazing work. I love the way the brass looks with the finished wood and how everything fits so flush. Can’t wait for the next project👍🏼
Thanks so much! It was really satisfying to put together!
It's so gorgeous!! The white finish with the brass gives it a really cool, very modern look.
Thanks so much! Modern is what I was going for! Ha! So fun to design
I started off saying how cute, another dyi with big box store tools, but she has great technique for a small shop. Kudos.
Glad you ended up liking it
Sorry for calling during your glue-up 😜
Hahah! Every time!!
@@3x3CustomTamar hahaha

It is great to see a real mom at work. God bless you and yours.
Thanks ☺️
*Beautiful and very useful piece of furniture! Congrats!*

Foreshadowing..... HA!
Murphy's law haha
Or not.. if you have enough expirience, like she has it, but..
Amazing project! Love how everything is thoroughly planned!
Thanks so much! lots of sleepless nights planning it! ha
I love the design of this bench.
Thank you for sharing with us your workshop's tricks.
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoy!
"Pocket holes have a really bad reputation but I like them anyway" - every single woodworker and every commenter on CZcams I've ever seen.
Who actually gives them that bad reputation, except everyone that keeps saying they love them regardless?
Hahah! I think there are joinery elitists that snub their noses at pocket holes. You can find them in the dark corners of the Internet 😂
@@3x3CustomTamar well, nice folk shouldn't be hanging out in those dark corners anyway 😉
as nice as expensive on every level: material, tools, time.
That is a beautiful bench. I like how you include brass into your designs. Adds character to the project.
Thanks so much!
You rock lady , cool tweak on the old design . love the brass added to the project.
Thanks so much! It was fun to design and figure out
Great and beautiful idea!! Enjoy watching you working and explaining during the build process!!! Thanks
Thanks so much! So awesome to hear!
wow very cool!!! Always looking at your ideas!!! Perfectly!!! Thank you!!
I rewatched the video with my OCD at ease, enjoyed it how it was meant to be enjoyed. Really dope storage bench, it's amazing how far you've come. I can tell you found the work that you love.
Haha glad your OCD was eased 😂
Love the sounds of family in the background! Miss it.
Also love the comments, "wow, that was a lot of work!"
Real life! Plus great projects.
Hah! Glad you like it! Thanks!
Smart, Skilled, Creative and Beautiful. Love from Canada
What an excellent example of how much thought and work goes into making something look simple and elegant. The definition of good woodworking.
Thanks so much! It really is interesting how so much work goes into something that looks so simple
BEAUTIFUL outcome~ Love how you are HONEST and admit mistakes; for beginners like me, it's quite helpful. Blessings.
Glad it was helpful! We all make mistakes, it's all in how you fix them.
Amazing project! It's been so wonderful to watch your evolution.
Thanks so much! It’s fun to look at the difference between my old projects and these newer ones
It turned out great and the brass is the cherry on the cake. Plus you expertise with your jig saw is very impressive. Thanks for sharing this video.
Glad you liked it! Thanks!
Love the use of templates. Thanks for that. Once again, you produce an enthusiastic video and demonstrate great skill. Well worth taking the time to watch. Also enjoy your mishaps, they are instructive too.
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoy my mishaps 😂😂😂
Hi Tamar,
Very nice bench, well made and beautiful.
I hope you will win the challenge.
Keep it safe.

Thanks so much! I’m not competing in the challenge. I’m on the build team. Basically I build along with everyone to promote it. It’s fun!
Amazing brass touch!!! The bench looks awesome!
Thanks so much!
Am learning so much from your channel -- and thanks in particular for sharing your mistakes and then your no-drama solutions. Brilliant!
So awesome to hear
That’s a sick build. Lots to be learned from this vid. The processes the planning ahead. Making adjustments on the fly. Design ideas. Excellent video
Glad you liked it! Thanks!
Amazing work, always so impressed about your projects.Thank you, it gives me motivation again and input for my own creativity. ❤️
Amazing result! Great that you leave the mistakes in. We all make them. Thanks for sharing
Thanks so much! I have yet to make a project without them. Ha
Nice imaginative work and good quality craftmanship. You deserve praise
Thanks!
You are incredibly adaptive with your use of jigs and I really like your note to “use what you’ve got”. I’m just getting started in woodworking, and I already feel like I’ve bought half a big box store worth of tools, but don’t have a fraction of what’s needed for some projects. Thanks for showing how versatile the jigsaw and router combo is.
The list of tools that you “need” will never stop growing. Ha
Beautiful bench! Excellent craftsmanship. Looks amazingly rugged. Should last a lifetime.
Thanks! I love looking at it every day ☺️
I love watching this lady work. Love her attitude. Love how she handles her mistake. Love how she thinks on the fly. And a great imagination.
☺️☺️
Your method of explaining things is the best.... amazing work and presentation
So awesome to hear!
Dude that is a FANTASTIC Bench!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love your overall problem solving. Great video!!
Thanks so much!
This piece is so gorgeous and beautiful made!! Great job
Thanks so much!!
This is GORGEOUS!! I’ve gotten deep into woodworking for the past year and a half. I’m really getting inspired to try curved pieces like this. I just found your channel from DIY Huntress. Love it! ❤️
Hands down, the coolest storage bench I’ve seen!!! 👍😁
Thanks! This was a fun one
Wonderful project!!!!! Video filming and editing are perfect!! SO MUCH FUN TO WATCH!👍👍👍👍
Thanks so much! Thats really so awesome to hear!
This is great - I could watch your videos for hours (probably have in fact) absolutely love your style, it's very calming to watch you work (even the crazy stressful glue ups).
And your jig making is amazing too!! Nice work
Haha! So awesome to hear! So glad you enjoy
Parabéns pela sua simpatia, e pelo projeto, simplesmente maravilhoso. Outra coisa, WD-40 é vida. Sou de Guarujá- Brasil.
Hi, Great project!! I like the way the finish came out in the white oak...also, the brass makes it really pop.
Thanks so much! I’m so happy with how it turned out
Awesome job! Always fun watching!!!

This is a great video Tamar. Your problem solving was on point!

Thanks for the tips about cutting extra pieces and template.
Thanks so much! I had to learn that one the hard way ha
Wanted to say thank you and that I really appreciate your videos. Bought these plans so I can support the channel and also have a beautiful entry bench!
So awesome to hear! Thanks so much!
So beautiful .... You n your project ... Excellent
Man, I love this so much! The design, the functionality... It's all perfect! And that 5/8" roundover is my favourite detail! Also, side note: your little blooper reel at the end was freaking hilarious!
Hahah! So glad you enjoyed! The roundover totally changed the whole look
That is gorgeous😍! Lots of good tips included also👌
So amazing. Beautiful handy craft. I very like this
Nice work! I liked the use of the flush trim bit and templates.
Thanks!
Very cool! The brass really sets it off nicely. Great job!
Thanks so much! I’m loving the contrast
Hi Tamar! Special project and special tecniques! Amazing!!! Congratulations!!! Greetings from Brazil!!!
Thank you so much!
I really love your videos and your narrative describing your process. Makes me wanna go build one. Bravo!
So awesome to hear! Thanks!
Tamar your the one. U're on another level. Love your work and the way you put everything in details trying not missing too much things. Just lov u and the way you do things.
So awesome to hear! Thanks!
You’re very creative, and do really nice work!
I retired at the end of last year and have been dabbling in woodworking again. I enjoy watching these types of videos. I may not make that same project, but I try to take ideas from each project.
I really like your approach of doing test pieces and I admire your ability to think through the steps in advance.
Thanks so much! Yeah! I don’t expect everyone to copy this build, the idea is to get ideas from it and create your own!
As someone who has worked as a carpenter and joiner for over 30 years. I have to say I really admire you’re work and craftsmanship. Or I should say you’re craftwomanship. Excellent 👍
So awesome to hear. Thanks!
That is a beautiful storage bench. I love woodworking with metal inlay whether it's functional like your masterpiece, or ornamental. Excellent job on this.
Thanks so much! I love how I turned the functional aspect of this into an ornamental one. That was a fun thing to figure out.
You are amazing!!!! This looked beautiful 😍
Nice, great editing. The finish is cool. Thank you.
Thanks so much!
You are very handy. Methodically, trouble solving is very effective. Love to watch your videos.
So awesome to hear. Thanks! ☺️
I love the brass accents. They really class up the shelf and the bench.
Thanks so much! I love adding brass. It’s so cool
Lindo trabalho. É primeiro vídeo que assisto de uma marceneira super competente. Parabéns!
New to Channel last week! Have watched ALL your videos!! Can't wait for this one TONIGHT!!
Awesome! Hope you enjoy!
small details you provided with each step are really helpful
Awesome. Glad you thought so
This was a really smart way to do this rounded corner. Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
The bench looks beautiful!!!! It is very assuring that a seasoned woodworker makes mistakes too. I really appreciate that!
Thanks! We all make mistakes. It’s all In how you fix em 😉
Turned out really nice, love the outtakes at the end. They add some realism to the build.
Thanks so much! Ha!
Wow, design and execution once again on point! Also wanted to say I really like the video editing too, especially the quick cuts for repeated tasks. These vids are always a joy to watch :)
That’s so awesome to hear! Thanks so much!
What a great bench. Sturdy design but not chunky. The brass accents lighten the heavier anchor structure of the white oak. I can relate to the interruptions during glue-up... I always enjoy your projects.
Thanks so much! Glad you noticed the design elements ☺️ yeah.... every single time! Haha
Wow wow wow, I’m super impressed with everything about this project and video!
Thanks so much!
Tamar, your videos are so creative and you really have a good way of explaining your thought process. Thanks for another great video.
So awesome to hear! Thanks so much!
One of the best carpenters on CZcams, your really good at explaining the processes and your finished work is very high quality, a pleasure to watch start to finish an I have been a carpenter for more years than you have been alive.
Well done🙏
Really so awesome to hear! Thanks so much!!
What kind of dolt thumbs down these videos. I’m very impressed. I’d love to be a fly on the wall of your shop. Thanks!!
Ha! Can’t win em all...
your very good at explaining things. I'm slowly building up my toolset and learning so much from u. thanks!
Awesome to hear!
