But what if I told you that, in the ever-growing esport that is VALORANT, the most shining example of that wasn’t a seasoned professional or some certifiably cracked up-and-comer?
That the game’s most sought-after savant... was actually an opera singer? Better known as Jonas "Average Jonas" Navarsete.

For anyone watching who doesn't play Valorant and doesn't understand how inconceivable that first "wait I have a lineup for this" clip was, he had to shoot that sonar dart across the entire map, make it change directions 180 degrees, and put it through a teleporter the size of the doorway he then shoots through, with only max 2 bounces. In an ongoing match, taking about 2 seconds to line it up. This man is terrifyingly talented
That recon shot was absolutely nuts. As a casual Sova main, when I heard of Jonas from the clips channel Protatomaster, I tried doing some shots of my own.
Suffice to say, hitting overhanging electric wires isn’t very helpful at all lmao
The insane part that is insane is the brain to remember and create all this shit, mechanically it isn’t as hard as you make it out to be he just lines up his crosshairs or his hud to something on the wall and that’s it
Lineup isnt about talent, its about memorization and repetition. Sure it takes time to create lineups but thats just hard work

Dimitri only hates it because he knows that it will eventually kill csgo. Just watch twitchtracker and you'll see that it has lose a bunch of viewership to valorant in the last year. (The amount of lose is almost a 1:1 ratio to the amount that valorant has gain).

most well known and respectable valorant pros are washed from CS. look at scream, aceu, shroud, hiko, steel, nitr0, wardell, zombs, all these guys played cs, had their time there, and either lost their form, or were just nns, and decided to make a name in valorant. no hate, but valorant is the easier game, and while everyone from CS hates on valorant, I like it, CS remains the top esport for me and most people.

Ayyy I just picked up this game and started playing Sova, I def have to sit down and really learn some of these set ups.

As a used to be csgo fanboy the part of the video that talks about how hard it is and long winded to learn smokes and pop flashes is fucking ridiculous. Working that hard for 1 smoke on 1 position on 1 map is stupid but it test some the best fps players in the world, and it's not like because valorant debunks that feature of the game doesn't make it less hard core AT ALL.I know a lot of people that come from cs hate valorant but u really have to give it credit that it did a lot of things right for a new fps game and actually has its developers supporting it.
