John‘s unique world class fiddle play and his heartwarming character were the basement of the 50years long career of the Dubs. Next with their unique voices! Thanks John!

No other word for this man than WOW as a 45 year old man who’s loved music all his life especially the Dubliners John reaches in to my inner soul every time I see or hear him play something new to my ears and his persona just tops it off a one off never again musician

Those 80 year old fingers as nimble as ever. I was always amazed at how quickly both John and Barney could play, even late into their lives. Must have been the Guinness that kept them supple.

AH! Discovered the Dubliners late as compared to the Chieftains who I followed and saw way back in 88! Anyhow--The Dubliners Were and Are Wonderful!

Robert Carey, if I may ask sir, according your name I think that Your probably an Irishman?! But how is it possible that even Irish people ‘discovered’ the Dubliners on such nearly late moment I life? I’m wondering, and at the sámen time happy you did ‘meet’ the Music!!

Performing like the boss . Bet the bow has played that tune so many times over the years it just needs that 80 year old hand to keep it steady. One great gentleman., an a Irish man at that.
