Do you like that i9 14900K performance?😉
Very hot cpu
Like and perhaps someday i have pc like this
No, it falls apart from the voltage instability problems
No I'll stick always to i5-i7
I don't want to waste my money even I'm rich
@@5milliondollarsindebt385 how rich you are.?
I've ran my 13900kf at full power limits and never had a single problem.ive locked my p core's to 5.7 and e core's to 4.5 and undervolted it and it's been running like a champ from day one
The thing is - you might even not know that something like this has happened to your CPU. If I hadn't compared these two then I'd have no idea that something is wrong with the i9 I have.
@theivadim I've done more than average amount of benchmarks on my pc so I'd know if something wasn't right. But I definitely know some people have had their cpu degrade. It's definitely a thing
im actually glad i went for the i7 14700k instead i had the budget for the i9 14900k since i was not buying the rtx 4090 i went for the i7 14700k which is not that much far behind the i9 14900k in performance and im not facing any instability issues like the i9 cpus of 13 th and 14th gen.
can u do a 4070ti super vs 4080 super benchmark in fortnite and OW2?
Thats why i jump from LGA1700 and intel i7 13700KF to AM5 with Ryzen 9 7900X3D. In some games with intel freeze PC, or restart PC, because issue with e-core. Now on Ryzen 9 7900X3D i outperform in games core i9 14900k and my cpu needs for that 50-80W not 100-160+W like intel. And also zero issues with AMD this is my first Ryzen and is awesome.
You gotta undervolt the new cpus, they been pushed way too high to get top rankings in benchmarks.
Graphics Looks Superb ❤😅Sir
Amazing
I Really Like That I9 14900 K But It's Too Costly 😅
The BIOS updates rolling out now power limit to 253 watts. You need to use the 'basic' setting.
Seems like he did and got the same results.
Interesting results.
Man that sucks. I also was scared with my 7950X3D CPU when some had their AMD CPU burn out. They fixed it. This time let's hope Intel will be able to fix this too!
Not sure I agree with the conclusion. I assure you Piece of mind and i9 don't belong in the same sentence.
They do if you know how to properly undervolt ^_^.
@@iLegionaire3755 nah I rather save %70-%80 and get a low end ryzen 5600 with a $4 cooler then to worry about all that nonsense. I wont be able to tell the gaming performance difference anyway since everything is GPU limited.

What MSI monitor stands on your table?
MSI G321CU. It's pretty good if you can find it priced below $400. Link in the description.
Try different i9 14900k chip.
They are saying that motherboards aren't regulating power well in order to get max performance and it's ruining and degrading these CPUs very quickly. Then they start to crash etc. People think that the new bios that are setting the PLs even lower than 250 are doing so to stop ruined chips from crashing. Luckily, I set my 14700k PLs to 253 after only about 2 weeks of usage. I hope it's okay. I noticed your cpu was only using 100-120 watts when you were standing in that gate area in Horizon with only 83 fps. Kind of strange. At first, I thought maybe your PSU wasn't keeping up but you were only pulling 400-450 watts.
I predict there will be a lot of finger-pointing as this issue gets more coverage in the news and social media. These things happen to every company tho. If I remember correctly, one of AMD's Ryzen 7000 CPUs was burning motherboard sockets. I think it was 7800X3D. But then they fixed it with a BIOS update. I just hope that Intel will solve this promply as AMD did and replace any failed CPUs for their customers.
Some people say they have been using Intel limits from the start and still get crashes. There have also been reports of rapid degradation after a few months, as their CPUs require more and more power to maintain the same frequency. I think this problem is much more complicated than Intel is willing to admit (design flaw).
@@PabloB88813 and 14 th gen i9 cpus are facing these issues any thing below them runs fine on intel stock settings
What do you think about getting i5 14600k with RTX 4070 Ti Super for 4K gaming ?
Sounds good👍 As you can see from this video, even the slower 14400 does pretty well.
I was thinking of getting a 14600K, but when I found out that Intel CPUs (including 14600Ks) are unstable and degrade quickly, I decided to go with the 7800X3D.
@@PabloB888 does the 14600k have issues ?
@mohammedaljezawi8428 Yes, although compared to the i7 CPU's I have seen far fewer comments from 14600K owners reporting these crashes, and setting Intel limits has helped them all, at least for now (i7 processors can degrade even on default settings, but maybe i5 will be less affected, who knows).
@@PabloB888 thank you
If you want to show us how brave the I5 14400 + RTX 4090 is in Horizon Forbidden West, go to Fleet's End. There you will have half of the fps of the current location.
Can my i511600k handle a 4070 ti super in wqhd
It'll do fine. I always: upgrade GPU first, worry about CPU later.
@@theivadim thx, i would like tò upgrade CPU later
DLSS, and things like Frame Generation is the future and will be normal in all games going forward because of A.I. real 4K native will be less and less common the better DLSS gets and Frame Generation gets 🤔🤷♂️...
I think so too. I ended up using DLSS and frame generation in all the games I played over the last couple of weeks that I had the RTX 4090. What about you?
@theivadim I skipped the 40 series because I do not trust the connector issues with the 4090, I am waiting for the 50 series and I'll be looking at those around January since they say the 5090's will come out first and we will have them by the end of 2024, The 5099, will be about 15 % more powerful then the 4090, and offer a better connector given that Nvidia will not want a repeat of the 4090's melting connectors... .
Edit: but to answer your question DLSS, I don't know how it works on a 4090 I am only saying DLSS will become more normal and things like Frame Generation as well the more A.I. becomes the norm, I can see the 5090 giving us even better DLSS and Flame Generation... DLSS 3 is better then DLSS 2 etc, DLSS 4 is probably going to be released with the 50 series giving it a better performance than before.
You have the 3090 if I remember correctly. Just realised that it doesn't support frame gen. Came back to edit my message but you beat me to it with your reply🙂 How about DLSS tho? Do you use it on a regular basis?
Also, it looks like this new connector is here to stay. So, RTX 50-series could suffer from the same issue unless NVIDIA lowers the 5090 power consumption.
@@Thex-W.I.T.C.H.-xMaster Just get a ATX 3.0 PSU it has the better cable for those power surges.
I regret my i914900k I could e went with a i5 for like 200 cheaper listened to a friend and wish I didn’t I just built a 4090 build for gaming 2.5 weeks ago and I been having a lot of issues and I’m thinking it’s all linked to the cpu id return to Best Buy but it already passed the 15day return they offer
What kind of issues are you experiencing?
@@theivadim honestly bro my pc is just been a pain I just built it it’s got a 4090 fe i914900k 32gb ddr5 ram and all my games crash and I get a error code of 0x00001338(1115)N sometime it’s changes but been unplayable
@@theivadim I put 4k into this build and I’m stuck with it now due to Best Buy not taking parts back after 15days and idk what to do
Motherboards set the highest CPU power limit by default. I've heard that some 14900Ks can't handle that and become unstable. Similar to what you're describing. Try reducing the power limit in BIOS down to the Intel baseline. I think it is PL1 253W if I remember it correctly. That may help stabilise your PC. RMA is also an option if you continue experiencing problems. Or just sell and get an i5 or i7 instead. But beware that even with those you still have to alter the power limit in BIOS because I found that my i7 14700KF works better with a medium power limit preset instead of the highest that is set by default (out of the box). The FPS is more consistent since I've reduced the power limit on my i7. Doesn't fluctuate that much resulting in smoother gameplay.
I just realised while writing this message that no matter what you still will have to deal with some kind of issues if you stay on Intel😅 Sad time for Intel. Ryzen 7000 appears to be the more stable platform now. Even tho it had some initial teething problems as well. They're all ironed out from what I hear. II haven't had a Ryzen PC for a while. But I'm looking forward to trying one in the future. If an opportunity arises.
@@theivadim my buddy has a i9 12gen no issues ima try what you said
The biggest difference is cpu usage....i5 was using 56% of its usage....and the i9 cpu usage is 26%....that's the difference. Usage is disturbed between more cores so the work load is less on the i9 vs i5.
Try cap the 14900k to 5.5GHz.
Just go Ryzen, Im surprise Intel is still Making Chips lol
I think the cpu started to deteriorate
Indeed, we can't disqualify that possibility.
CPUs degradation cause crashes. At 1080p, the i9 will crush the i5. Your i9 is fine. Same for Cinebench, your specific i9 will give you a score equal to what you see for other users on the net.
This happened to my AMD Ryzen 3700X on the original BIOS. Clocks began to fall and I had random crashes. I could not run it at its rated frequency after a BIOS update. I have since upgraded to a 5800X3D.
But he just started using this CPU. I think even if these CPU's are degrading, I'm doubtful it would happen this soon.
Don't buy i9 if you just play and stream games that's all
Just a waste of money
Bro what happend to your thumbnails isn't as engaging as your old ones
Change is inevitable. Nothing is constant🙂
I think your i9 degraded my bro 😢
Using Intel CPUs doesn't make sense for gaming at all
