Pacquiao shouldn't be ashamed about anything with his recent fight, he's had an amazing career and will certainly be remembered as the first octuple world boxing champion across 8 different weight classes. Hats off to him honestly.

The Filipino slugger is just so relentless, taking out some of my favourite fighters, and i loved watching him do every single bit of it. Such a talent to be missed now that he is old and tired. This man had a legendary career. Dare i say, he had the greatest career, achieving a title in 8 different weight divisions. This man has been fighting for his dog like he’s the boxing version of john wick.

@@thanhclips Not taking anything away from Pacquiao because being an 8-division champion is very impressive. But to be fair, in the past, there wasn't as many different divisions in boxing as there are today, so that it part of the reason why Manny was able to become an 8-division champion. Many people don't realize that.
Originally, there were only 8-divisions in boxing:Flyweight, bantamweight, featherweight, lightweight, welterweight, middleweight, light heavyweight, and heavyweight. Today, there are 18-divisions in boxing. If Manny was boxing when there were only 8-divisions, then he would have been a 4-division champion. Because he fought when there were more divisions/weight classes, he was able to capture more world titles as he moved up in weight. It's still impressive, and I'm by no means taking anything away from Pacquiao, but it's unfair to say that many is the ONLY 8-division world champion when he fought during a time when there were 17-divisions. There were other great fighters in the past who could have won more division titles if there were more weight divisions.

He’s definitely the 2nd greatest P4P boxer ever (behind Sugar Ray Robinson) but all time? He’s arguably not even in the top 10. Yes he worked his way up, but who he beat to get there and how he got there matters. Yes he’s beaten legends, but when he’s beaten them matters. Only thing he’s done in the last decade worth praising is him defeating the only “elite” fighter in his prime that he chose to fight in his class Keith Thurman.

-Floyd win by a Split decision and didnt even hurt dela hoya in the fight
-Pac make oscar dela hoya quit and retire.

-Floyd win a close fight and cotto is ahead of the scorecard after 10th rd.
-Pac outboxed cotto, score 2 knockdowns and win by a stoppage at 12th rd.

He was a brilliant light welter. Also, if you have time, on my channel check out the analysis I did of Mayweather vs Pacquiao, honestly you will enjoy it!

We're blessed to see Manny's greatness. There will never be someone like him. Not in this lifetime at least. He's a generational talent. Mayweather we will see another version of him ten or twenty years from now. But Pacquiao he's a once in a lifetime.
