I’m new to even digging for information about what I need to do. I have a 2011 G37s and my Bluetooth is choppy. Phone calls and audio are driving me crazy. I’ve contacted Infiniti where they confirmed any updates are discontinued for my vehicle. I’m not sure what it is I need to upgrade. I really don’t care for the navigation, only use phone for that. But my vehicle is in mint condition and not ready for a new one quite yet. However, if I can’t fix the phone calls and music issue I’m considering doing so. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.
Is there way to put non navigation system I have navigation system but don’t want it due to wanting to do after market stereo and from what I can see they don’t make a kit to that will work with the navigation system

Does this kit allow you to still retain the backup camera? I have a 2015 Infiniti q40 w/o navigation, and I want to upgrade to the system with navigation and bluetooth while still having my rear camera!!!
Yep. The upgrade keeps your rear camera.
I have a 2008 G37s w/no nav But it does have the Bose system. Is there a instruction vid on how and where to mount the rear camera? And what kit would I need to purchase to make all this work?
Thanks for the info. No video on that currently, but it's pretty easy (lots of customers have done it) and we can provide instructions if you need it with the kit. As for which one, you can find the links to the kits for your car in the video description under the section Harness Kits to Upgrade 2007-09 Cars to 2010-2015 NAV. From there, simply choose one of the kits for the BOSE Audio System depending on whether or not you'd like to add/keep SiriusXM (satellite radio). The kits include everything you need for a plug-n-play upgrade and gives you the ability to add an OEM rear camera or aftermarket one!
Ok excuse my ignorance, but I have a 2009 G37x coupe with factory navigation. What exactly do I need ?

Yes. You get full Bluetooth with the Nav conversion. You get both media and phone calls with steering wheel controls and all.
I have base 2008 ex35, I got parts from 2008 ex35 navigation version. Which harness should I purchase?
Hello. Can you tell me if your EX35 has BOSE or not? Also, do you intend to add a camera onto your EX? If so, just be aware that to do so with an '08 Nav upgrade, you'd need to procure and install the camera control unit for it.

@@rortiz22 In the video description under the section Harness Kits to Upgrade 2010-15 Cars are the links. From there, you can choose either of the Harness Kits for the BOSE Audio system. If you'd like to add/keep Satellite Radio (SiriusXM) then select the kit with the antenna. If not, you can select the regular kit without the antenna.
What could I do for an 08 g35 with a stock non nav radio?

I have a 2012 g37 how did you get the rca In?
Hello. The RCA inputs went away on the 2010+ G37 models. The only way to retain/get RCAs when doing the conversion would be to use a Nav Unit from a 2010 FX35, FX50, or EX35 with Nav.
However, if you wanted the rear camera to work, you would need to go to the dealer to reprogram the Nav unit and activate the rear camera, since those vehicles have around-view monitoring and not just the rear camera.
why do you need the bose sound system? i have non bose and non nav and really want to do this conversion
Hello. The conversion can be done without Bose, however there are a few extra things involved. The non bose cars would need to install and amp and microphone for the conversion to be complete. If you'd like further details on that just let us know.

It depends on whether you purchase the Full Conversion Assembly, or just the Harness Adapter Kit. See links in description.
Can this be added to a 2016 QX70?
Yes, we could provide a conversion harness for that as well. If you're interested I can put together a list of Nav parts you'd need for the conversion.
I've got a 2009 ex35 with nav, bose, surround view camera. Do i just need to buy a 2010+ display for it to get the updated resolution?
Not exactly. To change the display to the 2010+ higher resolution version you'd have to do a full conversion. The newer display uses an entirely different signal/communication protocol. Feel free to let me know if you're interested in upgrading to the newer nav.

Also do I need to buy a touch screen unit, if so I have a 09 g37 coupe(no nav) and wondering can an 2010 ex35 unit fit
@@blazerjayz4934 The EX35 unit will fit, but you'll lose the ability to add a rear camera with that unit, unless you get it reprogrammed by the dealer. So you may want to look for a unit from a 2010-15 G37, Q40, or Q60. Links are in the video description, or you can go to our website owc-upgrades and get all the info you need.
thats cool but too expensive though
Thanks for your input. I agree they are expensive but you are paying for the research, good materials (~$120), the time it takes to hand prep & assemble everything which takes about 10+ hours or so in itself, plus the plug & play aspect. Also quality workmanship, as I ensure the kits to work each & every time just as advertised. Not an easy task considering the many wiring variations and options that exist between these cars... What would you say is a fair price for something like this?
