All I can say Geoff is you better hope Chris never retires!
Ha ha ha Chris has his flp flop safety wear on, 😅😅😅, another truly wonderful day's development, 😊.
OSHA approved 😂
That is an ingenious floor system. Truly SUPER!
Great video as usual.
Impressive building design and construction.
Looking forward to more updates with the build.
Stay focused and God’s speed young man, your American dream is coming together.
Material on job site is a good thing!!💪🤗🇺🇸
Woo hoo!! Next time give me a warning , Chris's feet were so bright white I needed my sun glasses on... 😅😂😅😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂😂😂
How cool is that? We have the ongoing shenanigans of *Mr. Bealy Good & LetsDig18,* in this special-edition, after-hours episode. To the point, & succinct in scope.
Having reached the concrete pour of the walls, combined with the arrival of steel and aluminum parts, the excitement builds as the complication increases on this construction site
We offer prayers for continued success in this endeavor ..
Thanks ! 😊

Wow, you got a holiday truck load of flooring steel and 'like a good neighbor' Chris comes to help.
Thank you for the walk through on how the concrete floorpan pieces connect. Im looking forward to seeing that stage of the project
Thanks For watching 😊
So interesting how this all makes a floor but it makes sense. LetsDig18 in his weekend work boots.
That curve in the steel is called Camber
Don't know this system at all. Looking forward to learning it. Thanks for sharing!
I am proud of you. Hollywood can come to North Carolina. And see a great mansion.
Thank you.
With all this Metal being delivered I'm starting to think your building your own Battleship or Jet Plane, lol. JK, can't wait to see the House finished.
This is exciting stuff Geoff. Looking forward to the next few videos.
can't wait to see you install that floor system 👍👍👍👍👍
It sounds awesome!
Looking forward to the floor system install!!!
Thank you 👍
Great to see all this, and funny that Chris is helping in his flip flops, Just too funny..can't wait to see this getting started, and done..
Nice video Mr Bealy Good
Geoff great system, should go together pretty fast! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
A great looking system! Going to be interesting to watch how it all goes together before the concrete gets poured on top. Cheers
The next delivery for the farther Building from the ICF Mansion. Right Interesting.
That is some very nice floor pan
I was thinking it might be like the British contractors build. A metal grade system with prebuilt cement “panels” that slide onto the grids. It is so cool to watch them build it too.
Look forward to see how this works bro. Handy having a skidsteer driver live close by too. Safe travels. Ken.
I'm sitting here, drinking a glass of Western Cape Sauvignon Blanc 7 watching the latest Bealy Good video.
Sounds reasonable?
Yeah but it's 02:37 here in Cumbria & I'm relaxing after having just finished blanching, bagging & freezing 20lbs of broad beans. 😁
Chris: "Does the Dingo make my butt look big?"
One step closer
I dont understand the way your building, but it so awesome.
I don’t know what to do with myself?!? The videos are flying now! I’m a kid in a candy store.
Looks like a lot of work just showed up. lol Good work from the helpers for sure. Thanks for the video.
You bet
How convenient!! Letsdig shows up after hours! He knows the drill….💵💵💵💵
🤣🤣😂🤣😂
Good Video Thax 👍👍👍
Thank you too
I had to laugh watching the boys try & move something Chris needed the skidsteer to transport. He is nice to have around.
Well will u just look 👀 at That 👍👋🇨🇦
Good afternoon, Saturday, hot day. Enjoy the video.
I hope you had a great Fourth of July. If these get screwed together and the screws supplied suck. Get the Stal guard ones. The are the best self drilling ones I’ve ever used.
kool
Practically building yourself a bunker. Won't have to worry about termites or wood rot with concrete. Plus much quieter when you're in the basement and kids run through the house, lol. Anyway, was curious what floor system you were using and now we know. Thanks for sharing Geoff.
Thanks for watching 😊
Geoff you most definitely need grounding and bonding with that much steel going in the house.
Growing up on the farm in Iowa I can’t tell you how many times I saw lightning hit the lightning rods on top of the barn in the house.
After over 100 years of use for Apple decided the cast-iron grounded rods needed to be replaced with three-quarter inch copper rods that was driven almost 20 feet on the ground and that was no fun
None of the steel will be visible, it'll be encased in concrete - for fire protection - which is mandatory here in Denmark according to the building codes, and most likely in the US too.
- steel bends relatively easily when exposed to heat, and you'll be surprised how little heat it actually takes, especially when there's some weight on it, therefore the concrete encasing.
@@jrand2631 it is not required to be encased in concrete in the USA, and in the USA it is just painted or wrapped a wood and Sheetrock wrapper. Or as in the case of the World Trade Center towers, it was just covered with flame retardant insulation. But most steel in building in the USA it is just left exposed in the buildings.
Steel been encased in concrete in the USA is a lightning rod, no where in the world seems to have the lightning as the USA does.
Geoff, we in the industry call that built in 'CURVE", "CAMBER" it's designed that way to level out with the added weight of the slab !
Thanks 😊
Mr. Bealy just isn't giving those termites any chance at all...LOL.
👍👍👍
You have CHRIS working in flip flops Jeff
😳🤷🏻♂️🤣
Howdy Mr bealy good
Hey Tugboat 😊
next time check into a commercial shoring and decking system, very simple, engineered and job built, basically 3/4" plywood and shores, many available from 4x4s 0n 4ft centers, or scaffold type, frame it, place your concrete, knock it down and remove it, rental, very very clean and fast, thinking financially also $ savings. this looks scary $, jus sayin, done many a elevated slab. Walls look good though!
Looks like a nice flooring system as long as you keep the span under 30 feet. Not sure how you'd insulate if you wanted to be using in-floor radiant since you wouldn't really want to be warming up the support structure.

hahaha, great video..
Glad you enjoyed it
More material for more building. Are we having fun now?
🎉🎉🎉
👋👋
will you be installing in-floor heating.

☘️🇮🇪🇺🇸 Geoff I’ve been taking notes building castles is intriguing & intricate… lemme me tell ya my eldest son & I ( IT at Duke) have been brainstorming at ALL the possibilities… 🙊mind running amuck I tell ya - blessings my friend
Nice 😊. Duke is close by
@@BealyGood ☘️🇮🇪🇺🇸 yeppers I’m blessed all 5 of mine live/work close. I’m Chapel Hill . Ive crossed paths with Chris
Is there more coming that doesn’t look like enough?
That’s everything for the main floor , except where the former garage is. These get set 4’ on center
Aw Hell !! Your gettin' Rollin' now Geoff !! lolol.... Don't know who's feet are brighter, Mine or Chris's !! lmao... Chris if you read any of these, we have to fix these white feet we got man !! lolololol....
Nice floor system, should be a breeze for you to install.
That dark dressed helper standing right where the load would crush him if a foot slipped is not a good picture. stay at the ends of the load so you always have an OUT. Stay out of the "Gravity Path that always works" will keep you out of the hospital at least the number of times that path OUT saved me is more than a handful too.
Let’s let the men that build stuff every day, do what they do best. Go be an osha hero somewhere else.
Well with all this concert and steel you should have cheap fire insurance?
What would you do without Chris?
Sleep till 10am and still be retired, lol
Geoff's house is going to be the Hugh Hefner house of NC with Chris as his butler 😂😂😂😂😂
Chris are you in your bedroom shoes
🤣🤣
Well as it was after hours work, that should just about pay for the cable excavator Chris was playing with.😉🤣🤣🤣🤣
❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Flip flops should be banned everywhere except the backyard pool or the beach.
